It's like a tailor made them for me!
These pants fit so perfectly. I was hesitant to buy because they were out of the 28 waist size, so I had to buy a 30, and I'm waist size 27. Description says they adjust an inch or two. They have Velcro and adjust a good 5 inches! I got a tall, and it is exactly the length I hoped for. I'm 6' 1". Not 5 stars because ridiculously overpriced, and Arktis wasn't clear enough about the huge import fee I'd have to pay. I didn't know the exact fee until the pants arrived in the USA.

We’re delighted to hear that the fit worked out so well for you, especially given the sizing adjustment. It’s great to know the waistband flexibility and tall length met your expectations.
We’re sorry to hear about your concerns regarding pricing and import fees. We completely understand how frustrating unexpected charges can be. Until September 1st, 2025, shipments to the United States under $800 benefited from the de minimis exemption, meaning they were typically import duty-free.
However, the US Federal Government removed this exemption for goods shipped from the UK as of that date.
As a result, duties and taxes may now be applied when orders arrive in the US, and these are charged by US port authorities, which are unfortunately outside of our control.
We do note at checkout that prices do not include any applicable import duties or taxes, but we recognise this may not always make the impact completely clear, and we truly appreciate your feedback on this point.

Flimsy material - Poor design
Smock is made from delicate wafer thin material, looks good but wouldn't last 5 minutes in proper use.
The design is poor & even in the half price sale it cost far more than its worth.
The old issue Jackets are better designed, more robust and a fraction of the price.
Was invited to leave a review on the Arktis site but they removed it as they don't allow negative comments, hence their "excellent" reputation !
NOTE: I didn't say you removed negative reviews from Trustpilot but you do remove them from your own website, you have done this repeatedly with my reviews, hence my posting on here. As for the material failing, I've had the garment a few days & intend to use it for walking the dog etc. If I was still using it in a field role within the military it wouldn't last long at all, that's coming from personal experience.

You have mentioned that the item would not work in proper use, have you used the item? has it failed? The material is Gaberdine which is not intended to do this. If the item has failed, then please can you send some images of this to websales@arktis.co.uk.
With regards to the comments of Arktis taking down comments that are negative, this is not the case, and as mentioned on the previous review, we do not physically take reviews down.
We can flag reviews if they do not meet the Trustpilot guidelines.
As you can see on the site, we have negative comments on there, we accept genuine feedback in whatever shape or form.

Quick shipping, especially for international destinations. US Arktis selections are a bit slim and I wanted stuff from the UK store & I had no issue ordering from and receiving the UK items in a timely manner.

Not meant for people with curves
Felt somewhat cheaply made considering the price, the areas the description said had stretch didn't really have any stretch. The pants feel overly loose in some areas and extremely tight in others; but I'm a woman so that's to be expected to a degree when wearing pants fitted for men.

Your comments about the uneven fit (loose in some areas but tight in others) and the lack of stretch where expected are particularly valuable, as we aim for both accuracy in our product descriptions and consistent performance in wear.
The C222 is designed with a traditional cut, which can result in a less comfortable fit for those with different body shapes, particularly where more contouring or flexibility is needed. That said, your experience highlights exactly where improvements can be made in both design and how we communicate fit and fabric properties.
We’re pleased to share that Arktis is actively working on new designs that better account for women’s body shapes and sizing—so watch this space, as this is something we’re committed to improving.

C333 trousers good value,
Phantom jacket great for warmth while active,
However I assume these items will need re waterproofing at some point..
Dont see any instructions of what to do that with.
I bought two pairs of each- one of the pairs has a defective front pocket,
Gareth at Arktis was very helpful,suggesting I took another week (thst I couldnt spare)to send it back etc but as it was the last pair in my size I couldnt see how that could work in time.
My only other quibble is that they use DHL,which always means problems & being mucked about.
I would prefer royal mail-in fact I only bought them because it said express dhl or normal free mail,which I mistakenly assumed meant not dhl.
Dhl/UPS are the worst I dont buy things if theyre involved.
But the Arktis gear is great-I bought 2 SWAT shirts from them -no complaints there
So overall very good,if they dropped DHL I would certainly buy from them again.
The outer shell of the phantom sometimes (esp the wrist straps) feel a bit cheap & ‘temporary’,but I guess you get what you pay for-theseare’nt bad value but this is the future I guess.
This is my honest appraisal.

It’s also great to know Gareth was able to assist, even though we understand the timing made a return difficult in this case.
We’re sorry again about the defective pocket—that’s certainly not the standard we aim for.
Regarding waterproofing, you’re absolutely right—over time, garments with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish will benefit from reproofing.
A simple wash with a technical cleaner followed by a reproofing treatment (such as Nikwax or Grangers) will restore performance. We’ll take your feedback on board about making these care instructions clearer.
We also appreciate your candid feedback on DHL. Delivery experiences can vary, and we understand your preference for alternative options like Royal Mail. We’re actively reviewing our shipping choices and your comments are genuinely helpful as we look at improving this area.
On the Phantom jacket, thank you for the constructive note on the outer shell and wrist straps—we’ll pass this directly to our product team as we continue refining our designs.

Zipers not friendly
I've bought several of Arktis products for personal use, and in general I like them a lot; however, I often have problems using the main zippers on jackets like the Arktis B404 Phantom; they're slow and delicate to use, which doesn't make sense on jackets designed for harsh conditions.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been having issues with the main zips on garments like the B404 Phantom.
The zips used are waterproof coated, which is intentional as the jacket is designed to be resilient in harsh conditions.
This coating does make the zip slower and a bit stiffer to fasten compared to a standard zip, but it provides a much higher level of protection for the user against the elements.
That said, we completely understand your point—ease of use is just as important as durability in the field.
Your feedback about how the zip performs in practice is really valuable, and we’ll be sure to pass it on to our product team for consideration.
