I had really good experience with aquarium-parts.co.uk. I called them as well on number provided on the website to seek some advice as my online payment kept failing , in the end I payed using PayPal. The person on the phone was helpful and polite. I was also pleasantly surprised with fast delivery, my tank cabinet arrived within two days of purchase. Overall great service, good Aqua one parts range and competitive prices. Would definitely recommend it.
I ordered lights on 5th December. It stated a 1 - 2 day delivery option which cost me £5.49. My order is classified as complete on the site. I called them on 16th December as my order had not arrived but the answer phone message said there was no one available to take my call and never gave me an option to leave a message. I know that there are postal strikes going on but this is ridiculous.
Stay clear . Ordered a couple things should've been delivered within 2 days but 8 days later nothing has arrived. Tried calling the number it never rings and emailed 3 times no response. Please people stay clear
I recently did business with Aqua One Spare Parts (same contact number as Aquarium Spare Parts). I am in Canada. I found communication to quick and interactive. I had my complete order within a week of placing it. Which is quite the feat considering it is the middle of the Covid Pandemic and it had to clear Canadian Customs. I can definitely recommend this company.
Appalling customer service. Item was lost with Australia post and I was asked to discuss this with the sender (Aquarium Spare Parts). Jake Broadstock then proceeded to tell me that my "suburb" was listed incorrectly and that it was my fault. the suburb listed was Melbourne instead of the individual suburb (located in Melbourne). Postcode, address and everything else was listed accurately and I have never had issues with this previously. Australia Post has since remedied this by refunding the amount. Why was it necessary to blame me for the mistake of your own delivery system? Absolutely disgusting and I would avoid using this company at all costs.
First time I have used this company and I am 100 percent impressed. They have a wide range of stock very reasonably pricing. I created a account to place order online one Sunday 28th February late on the night and my items arrived Thursday 4 March as I choose normal standard delivery. The parcel was packaged well and all items arrived which I ordered. I will definitely use this company in future and will definitely be recommending to friends and family
I ordered a part for an aquarium Feb 17th 2021, with a 3-5 day delivery. Today (Feb 24th) I rang the number on the order confirmation as I was unable to make an account on their website as it kept freezing. I got through to someone who seemed quite helpful actually, stating they don't usually have problems with their deliveries. Identified my order and said he'd check with the warehouse and get back to me in an hour. It's 6hrs later, no phone call, and their website isn't loading anymore.
It was then I started to look for some reviews and came across the negative ones below. Now mine isn't as long a delay as some of the reviewers have experienced, but red flags regardless! If I had seen the reviews before I wouldn't have ordered from them.
I'll try them again tomorrow by phone and if not satisfied will begin a complaint with Paypal by end of the week.
UPDATE (Feb 25th)
I’ve had contact from CS this morning who informed me the part was damaged, so are awaiting replacement. I’ll hold judgement until next week and amend the review accordingly.
Shocking Customer Service!!!
I emailed Aquarium Parts to enquire about the late delivery of my order, which at the time of order stated 2 to 3 days for delivery. The order was placed on 2nd February 2021 and I sent my enquiry email on 13th February 2021 after giving the supplier additional time to deliver. I got a very rude response and was told that the delivery was due in March ("early next month") with no apology for the delay. When my response back expressed disappointment and dismay at not having been updated about the very long delay to my original delivery date, the response back was that they would cancel my order. I replied back that I was not requesting a cancellation and to please fulfil the order. I then got a further reply that my order had indeed been cancelled and a refund issued.
In conclusion, I would strongly recommend that you do not do any business with Aquarium Parts, they provide shockingly poor customer service, do not update their customers about a lengthy delay to the delivery of orders and are just down right rude to customers!!!
Terrible customer service. Eventually got through after 2 other numbers.
Ordered a tank and paid for express delivery. Rang to check my order to be told it would take longer and needs to be ordered from the manufacturer so I decided to cancel the order. Told I would get a refund by the evening. Nothing. Sent emails. Nothing. Still waiting for my few hundred quid.
It seems to run under 3 different names at one address. Eheim parts, Fish Pet Reptile and this one Aquarium Parts. All have bad reviews.
I love ordering from them as it's so easy and efficient and I never look elsewhere.
