There is no continuity with this company. Every technician who arrives knows absolutely nothing about our house or location of bsit boxes or Mosquito apparatus, etc. And every tech has different ideas/opinions about how to treat the problems. We scheduled a service to arrive between 2-5:00 pm and the technician arrived at 9:00 a.m. The log in to their client portal rarely works.
I would definitely NOT recommend this company

Yesterday we had good service...today NO service for an emergency infestation!!!
Yesterday we had our regular outdoor spray. All went well. We also were having some gnat problems inside the home which our technician gave us some help. We liked the technician and he did a good job. That was yesterday...Today, if I could give a zero I could. This afternoon we were attacked by a huge colony of what appeared to be gnats. They were marching and begining to fly . The stream of them was over an inch wide and ultimately I found it ran the length of the south side of the house, through three rooms. I ran for some spray, called Aptive. And the earliest we could get a technician here was...
11 DAYS OUT!!!!!!!REALLY???
This is the continuing service we are paying for?
When the infestation is as large as this one and I explained that my husband, who is in 80s, has his recliner that he is confined in right in front of the window ledge where the bugs were crawling, it made no difference. She said she would call a manager, I waited on the phone, she finally came back on and said she could not get in touch with one but she would leave a message and have them call us....
Now, if you have a 24 hour phone number, doesn't it seem there is 24 hour service including emergencies? We have used this company for years but as soon as I can, I am inclined and even determined to terminate this "service"!

Ryan was friendly and explained details on the rat traps. He set what rat traps he had. However it didn't sound like it was communicated to him in advance my note that I needed rat traps instead of mouse traps so he had only a couple in the van.

Usually I have been very happy with the service but the technician I had yesterday didn't spend much time at my house and I am not sure he sprayed everywhere. Each time I looked out the window he was either standing still or walking slowly looking at his phone.

I used to have a big problem with rats
I used to have a big problem with rats. Now they are all gone. They come once a quarter to service my property and are always friendly and nice. They do their work without disturbing me. I just bring my dogs inside while they work.

Aptive is a scam dressed up as pest…
Aptive is a scam dressed up as pest control.
They showed up at my door and refused to leave until I signed. That’s not sales, that’s harassment. They promised to cancel my existing pest control so I wouldn’t be double charged. They lied. I got charged by both companies.
When I canceled, they told me my account was closed. Another lie. They kept billing me.
This company survives on pressure tactics, deception, and shady billing. They do not deliver what they promise. They will keep taking money until you catch it and fight them.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay away from Aptive. They are the infestation.

Webs back in less than a week
It’s been just a week and I already see new webs around the front of my house. It’s concerning and makes me question is the person spraying not spraying correctly or is the spray not sufficient.

I received notice ahead of time from Aptive regarding which day they planned to come. On the day of, the tech texted me with the arrival time. I wasn't home so he sent photos of where he'd sprayed. I appreciated the extra care.
