This company is absolutely great and I highly recommend! Their top priority is their customer and taking care of all our needs.
They respond quickly, go above and beyond, with highly trained professionals who are friendly and skilled.
Chad and Joshua did an incredible job taking care of me for an emergency, on site after hours, solving my crisis.

Exterior pest service seems to work…

The exterior service seems to work well, instead of having pest control sprayed inside the residence. They also sweep for webs around the windows and any nests on the eves.

Worst experience with a pest control…

Worst experience with a pest control company we’ve ever had. Lied to us to get us to sign a contract then never let us know when they were coming. Always came when we were gone and only did the front of the house because nobody was there to let them in the backyard or inside the house. Continually asked them to let us know when they were coming so one of us could be there and they never did. Always just stuck a sticker on the door that they had already come. Terrible customer service. Literally couldn’t wait to be out of the contract and back to our regular guy from before who actually gives a crap. We tell everyone we know to stay away from you guys and will continue to do so

We understand how important it is to know when your service is scheduled, especially when access to certain areas of the home is needed. Showing up without clear notice and not being able to fully complete the service is not how we want things handled, and we can see how that led to such a negative experience.

Subpar service at best

I’ve been a customer for over 5 years, and unfortunately, my experience has consistently fallen below expectations.

The most concerning issue is that it took this company over 2 years to properly identify and address a pest problem I was dealing with. That level of delay shows a lack of expertise and urgency that no homeowner should have to deal with.

On top of that the service quality has been inconsistent at best. When technicians do show up, they often come across as disengaged and unprofessional and the actual service provided feels rushed and subpar. There’s no sense of care or attention to detail.

Scheduling has been another ongoing frustration. Due to my work schedule I’ve clearly communicated multiple times that I can only accommodate weekend appointments. Despite repeated assurances that my account is properly notated, they continue to schedule weekday visits forcing me to constantly call and correct their mistakes. It’s inefficient and shows a lack of internal communication.

Most recently, my monthly bill was increased without any prior notice or approval which is unacceptable. Transparency and trust are critical in any long-term service relationship and this completely undermined both.

After years of giving this company chances to improve, I can confidently say the service, communication, and professionalism have not met a reasonable standard. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing.

I have had Aptive for 6 years now.

I have had Aptive for 6 years now.

They have been listening to my needs for years. No matter how many times I would call in the beginning for a revisit. They even call to ensure that everything is ok. The portal is great to monitor & schedule appointments on MY TIME vs others. If I tell them an issue, they work to get the corrected. Those that have been to my house is very respective of my space & ensure they answer all my questions.

Flakey and untrustworthy

Their technicians who are accountable and do their job are wonderful. I have very few issues, and if something needs revisiting, the response is free and "prompt." Whether they actually show up, thats a whole other story.
Sugar ants and wasps are elusive to the majority of their efforts. Whatever dust they changed to is wholly ineffective on the wasps. With the sugar ants, they refused to listen to where I said the intrusion was happening, and just put bait wherever they felt like.
The majority of Technicians will typically cancel last minute or lie about having serviced the home if you aren't there to watch them. You can tell, because easy to reach wasp nests will still be hanging and/or granules won't be present on ant hills, etc. The reliable techs are very diligent.
I never had a roach/palmetto until Aptive bought out the company I was with. Additionally, the pricing is quite high.

Repeated comments to technicians to…

Repeated comments to technicians to remove wasps nest on soffits promised it would be sorted he leaves with saying bye then check and still 3 nests are present growing monthly once my term is over in April will not be renewing

The technician

The technician, Julius, was very good. He told me I should be receiving service monthly for insect control and he would tell the office to call me regarding this issue, but as to date, no one has called.
