The unit is in a great location but it is tired. For example, the mattresses and the towels are old and uncomfortable. These are simple fixes which would dramatically enhance the comfort of the unit. On top of that, the dishwasher broke and the washer and dryer failed to function properly. We recognize the unit is individually owned, however the company should require owners meet certain standards for unit upkeep and maintenance. We did communicate with the company and they were responsive, however, they were limited in what they could do during the week of our stay. They also did not use our preferred method of a communication which resulted in a scare with people coming to the unit without advance notice.

The attention to detail in respect of client comfort, satisfaction and making things easy was fantastic as usual from Nick and Viktor. The properties offered are always in great locations, close to transport and places of interest. Having stayed in many different properties over the past four years, the facilities are always exactly what is required. Should there be any minor mishaps, then Nick and Viktor are right on top of fixing things up satisfactorily. The greeters are always friendly and knowledgeable regarding the respective properties. A must to book each visit to London.

My first choice of accommodation ended up being cancelled and Nick could not have been more professional when he called to advise me. He had two alternate choices for me and gave me some direction as to what might work best. I could not have been more pleased with the Sloane Square flat. The layout, space, and well it was equipped was perfect. I loved that the linens and towels were changed weekly and that there is a greeter provided to show you the ins and outs of the property when you arrive. I would not hesitate to recommend A Place Like Home to anyone! Special mention goes to Nick who could not have been more thorough, pleasant

Great experience from beginning to end. Very prompt and clear communication, easy to move in and move out, and a great property exactly as represented. I would 100% certainly rent through these guys again.

The property is very nice, however, the pub across the street is loud until 11:00 at night and it is starting to be open for breakfast, which will be noisy early in morning.

As long as it is possible to close the windows that open to the pub, it is somewhat controllable, however, this will be a serious problem in the summer since there is no air conditioning.

Long term, the upstairs bathroom is going to have a serious problem since it is impossible to eliminate the humidity that runs down the walls. We tried everything but there isn’t adequate ventilation.

We enjoyed the neighborhood and felt that the decor was exceptional.

We loved our stay in Goodwin's Court. It is our second time staying at this wonderful accommodation and we couldn't speak more highly of it! The place is amazingly clean and well-appointed and within walking distance to all the major attractions. Communication with Nick and his team is easy and respectful. Next time were in London, our family will definitely stay in Goodwin's Court again!

We stayed for 10 days in the Blithfield Street, Kensington flat. It was very clean and in a fabulous location! We felt very safe in this neighborhood and loved having a pub, Italian deli, pastries, groceries all within the block! Nick was extremely helpful in the booking process and up until our arrival, always very prompt in responding to my many questions. On the day of our arrival, Katya met us at the flat and went over everything inside and gave us the keys. We had never been to London before or used APLH and were so impressed with everything from booking to departure and would highly recommend staying at the Blithfield Street Kensington flat, and also recommend all the staff at APLH that we worked with, they will no doubt take care of you! This was our fourth time using A Place Like Home for our London vacation. From beginning to end, they provided excellent service. They partner with a first-class car service, so your pickup at LHR is coordinated with care, and the driver is in contact with a greeter at your flat, so you’re welcomed onsite by a person fully acquainted with the features of your rental property. Even their property owners are attentive to the comforts of home: this was our second time staying at the same listing, and we were delighted to find a beautifully renovated bathroom with top-of-the-line fixtures.

A Place Like Home chooses locations that place you in the center of the action, and our Chelsea property afforded us easy access to all of our interests. Should any concerns have arisen, we were confident that APLH would follow up with appropriate advice or send an agent to our flat to address any issues. During one of our previous stays, we did require some assistance, and a professional was dispatched quickly to help us out. This time, as is typically the case, there were no issues. Our vacation was a completely wonderful experience, thanks to our comfortable, fully equipped flat and our reliable and professional “hosts.”

We were met at the property when we arrived and shown around it and how its various applicances work. The apartment was clean and comfortable, everything in good working order. All was as advertised. The furnishings are quite old-fashioned in style, but we could live with them for a week.

Since this unit is in Chelsea between the Sloane Square and South Kensington Tube stops, any direction you walk takes you to an interesting area. The busses nearby on King's Road can be helpful as well. We would certainly consider staying there again if we are fortunate enough to get to London again.

Straight forward. Very little hassle. Efficient and timely. Rental had a few quirks, but they all do. Would book the same flat again.

The Draycott Place flat was absolutely beautiful! It looked like an interior designer lived there. Everything was immaculate. The flat is close to the wonderful Kings Road shopping area and there are several grocery stores nearby. The underground is an easy walk. The neighborhood is beautiful. A Place Like Home responds quickly to emails. Nick is so helpful. Wonderful stay.

The location is superb: a short walk to parks and a slightly longer one to theatres. The flat had all the necessary amenities, was spacious and clean, and, most important, very quiet.

A Place Like Home was a great company to work with in securing our one month rental in London. Our main contact Nick helped us to find the right property and was very responsive whenever we had a question, both prior to our trip and once we were in the house. The company provided cleaning and linen changes once a week. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. We will definitely use them again for renting in London.

I've been a customer of APLH for many years and I continue to use them because I have always found that any problems I had during my stay were always dealt with quickly and effectively. Moreover, the properties rented are exactly as they appear on the website (no surprises!), And so it was this time, too. However, the house was poorly equipped — there wasn't even a proper cup for tea or coffee, nor a tea strainer — and not perfectly cleaned. The stovetop was greasy and stained, and the carpets in the living room and bedroom were dusty and dirty. Furthermore, the user guides for the appliances and the electrical system were not detailed enough, and the television didn't work. Luckily, Nick was fantastic and provided me with all the information I needed quickly.

Clear instructions for key pick up and entry to the flat. Staining to the ceiling and doors in the main living room. Slightly awkward arrangement for disposal of rubbish which involved leaving a bin bag on the street on Friday morning before 7am.

Lovely flat. Convenient to transportation, restaurants, food stores. We loved exploring the neighborhood and experiencing the neighborhood feel.A Place Like Home staff was responsive to our few questions

A perfect place to stay for a festive London break. Thank you so much to everyone, it was a wonderful few days with all the family.

90% of the time Nick was great. The passing of the keys for the house was a mess. Also, I know it is modern times but the instructions coming to my phone on December 23 was a disaster. Trying to read these on a phone was a challenge and being smack up against Christmas, I didn't see them until after we arrived.

The house is great.

We love the personal service, and the apartments have all been lovely, in great neighborhoods and with everything we need. APLH has always been very quick to respond to our questions, and have corrected the (very few!) issues we've had very quickly. We also appreciate that they arrange transportation from the airport when we need it, or have someone meet us when we come from the train / taxi. We've been using APLH for years, and will continue to do so!

Nick at A Place Like Home did a fantastic job finding us the perfect spot for our Christmas 2025 holiday, organizing arrival and departure airport transfers and mid-stay cleaning (we were there for a while, appreciate the linen change, etc). Friendly, helpful, patient and the flat was a good balance of price/amenities/location. (Sometimes holiday home selection feels like: we want nice/affordable/close to transportation but can only have two of these in any particular rental. Which is totally fine. Pick your priorities! But that's a great thing about APLH, these seem to have a good range of properties to choose from on the wants/needs spectrum, from simple to luxury - again, pick your priorities!). Anyway, thank you Nick and crew, for a great stay in London!
