Antique Vault Anmeldelser

Michael is a friendly, knowledgeable and easy-to-like person. His old-school approach to things, and extremely professional behaviour is a shining example of how someone in his profession should behave.

He dealt with my mother's transaction in a very compassionate way, and made sure she was comfortable with every step of the process of selling her jewellery. He continually confirmed things, and never made unrealistic estimates.

I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent in every way!
Exceptionally professional
expert, with wide knowledge and excellent contacts.
The highest prices are secured.
I would definitely use them again.
Extremely satisfied.

Michael has been working with us on a probate valuation. He has been kind and very patient with the process. He also bought an antique gold locket from me for a very fair price. The locket would have been difficult for me to sell directly, as it lacked a hallmark. Michael's knowledge is extensive. He had the gold tested and the sale was done within a few days. Great service, thank you.

Friendly and helpful service, with extensive knowledge and contacts in the market. Very professional response to client's needs. Definitely use Michael again.

I initially contacted Antique Vault for a probate valuation, and Michael was able to visit within just a few days. His knowledge of silverware, jewellery, and antiques was exceptional—he quickly identified valuable items and provided expert insights on the items.

After probate, I decided to sell the silver at auction, and Michael handled the entire process seamlessly. He kept me updated throughout, and the items ended up fetching more than expected. Additionally, his connections with private collectors allowed me to achieve an even higher valuation for certain pieces.

The service has been professional, efficient, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend Antique Vault and Michael’s expertise for anyone needing valuation or selling of their items.

Shipping takes forever. They take your money but then you wait for 30 days or more to receive your items.
They need to revamp the shipping department. I would suggest a new management team.

Michael was really helpful, he provided me with essential information free of charge. That’s rare these days! I really appreciated his time and patience. Definitely would recommend 💯 thank you 🙏

This company is incredibly helpful and my contact, Michael, dealt with everything really swiftly.

Very competent and trustworthy service. The Antique trade has serious trust issues these days given the upturn in "bargain hunt" types trying to flog any old rubbish at silly prices.

Michael was quick to see what I wanted and was meticulous in following through. He kept me informed and he achieved for me much more than I had expected from my sale. I cannot recommend him more highly.

I made an online enquiry about an item and received a very helpful phone call from Michael. I would be very happy to use Antique Vault.

Michael is easy to work with - he explains clearly and gives reasons behind his opinions. He is so courteous and prompt in all his communications. A few years ago he sold some Belleek ware for me and we were delighted with the outcome. Recently he has given us less good news about some other items but with equal care and professionalism. I would trust him again and again.

I am so grateful to have found Michael. I was so worried about being scammed or treated like someone who wouldn’t understand. That didn’t happen on any level on any occasions we spoke. I was treated with professional respect-hence - from now on I would never consider working with anyone else- thank you Michael for all your help and support. Sue

Great company that'll handle everything for you. Would highly recommend them if you're looking to auction anything. Michael was lovely and he collected my goods and took care of everything, he explained the process and put my mind and rest. I'll be using them again for auctions and recommending them to friends! Very good service!

I had a carrier bag of old watches from my late uncle and Michael gave me some advice on them and suggested they auction. Most were broken with bits missing so I wasn’t expecting much. The money they sold for was unbelievable and Michael’s fees were very fair. He was knowledgeable from the start, kept me informed and was very honest. Money arrived promptly.

We wanted some china, Wedgwood and a painting valued and were extremely happy with the way Michael explained their value and whether in fact they were worth taking to auction. Although none of the items were worth enough to sell we appreciate knowing that fact.

Called for advice re 1950's nursing chairs valuation. Really helpful & professional. Much appreciated.

I contacted Antique Vault about restoring a china figurine which had met with an accident and her head had come off. Unfortunately it wasn't a clean break, but Michael was able to restore it beautifully and I am very pleased with the result. The figurine had belonged to my mother and has great sentimental value, which Michael totally understood. I would thoroughly recommend his professional services.

real professional with an honest opinion- top of the profession to be honest
