The item arrived right on schedule and was well-packaged to ensure it came in one piece. However, upon closer inspection of the base, the marble has clearly been patched up, and unfortunately, it wasn’t done very well. It's quite noticeable and takes away from the quality look you'd expect from a new product. I'm keeping it because the glass dome is great and shipping was hassle-free, but the quality control on the marble base definitely leaves something to be desired.
