Level 2 report
I opted for the level 2 report and it was a well detailed and concise report. The sections were broken down well and the use of the traffic light system helped to identify the key parts of the report. I would recommend AMS, good customer service and thorough reports.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad the Level 2 report met your expectations and that you found the traffic light system and layout helpful for understanding the key issues. Great to hear our customer service stood out too — we really appreciate the recommendation! Many thanks, Anthony
Survey was booked quickly.
Survey was booked quickly.
Very detailed.
However, it took a week from the date of the survey till the report was ready for me to view. In my opinion, this is a long time to wait, having previously received reports from other companies within 48 hrs.

Thank you, Mrs B, for your kind 4-star review and for highlighting the detailed nature of the survey you received.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the report turnaround time. As a RICS-regulated building surveying practice, we follow the RICS Home Survey Standard, which requires that surveyors are given adequate time to consider all aspects of the property and any relevant background information. This ensures that the final report is accurate, thorough, and professional.
At AMS Surveys, every report is not only prepared by a qualified Surveyor but also reviewed through our in-house quality assurance process by a second experienced surveyor. This dual-layer approach supports our commitment to delivering detailed and reliable home surveys.
While we understand some companies offer quicker report delivery, the typical industry standard across RICS surveyors is around 5 working days. We believe this timeframe strikes the right balance between efficiency and the quality our clients expect.
Thank you once again for choosing AMS Surveys. We’re proud to support clients with trusted, professional advice, and we’re always here should you need any further help post-survey.
Many thanks,
Anthony
A very satisfactory and comprehensive report
The report was clear and the comprehensive number of supporting photos showing damp meter readings was very helpful. The recommendations and estimated costs for the remedial action were also very helpful.

I used AMS for structural calculations…
I used AMS for structural calculations and drawings for a kitchen extension / alteration. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. The service was brilliant and they went over and above to help, especially when the council asked a number of ridiculous questions which required additional work from AMS who helped with this at no extra cost. Big shout out to Luke for his help with this. We also used their recommended builder to carry out the works who was also great. I would only ever use them in the future if I take on any other similar home improvements and have recommended them to friends and family. Thanks again to everyone at AMS!!
