The first day I was on board, I fell on deck #4.
It was a gentle fall and I was not hurt. Christian,
the Gentleman in charge happened to be right there and another staff member picked me up.
I have food allergies and when I met with chef, the first day, he made the suggestion that I sit at a certain table and have the same wait staff for each meal. I did that and Janay was our server. Between Chef and Janay they were able to advise me with the menu and it was a wonderful dining experience. The chef was prepared with Gluten and Dairy free items for me. Travel is sometimes hard for me because of my allergies. However, on this cruise it was handled well.

The staff was great. Very well trained & friendly.
Here is a suggestion- there should be a representative from ACL at the hotel the night before the cruise. Set up a table & distribute the packets. Rep could answer any questions & welcome passengers. It would also be helpful if the rep could coordinate the transfers from the airport to the hotel. We had to wait about an hour for transportation along with several other ACL passengers. Not a good start to the vacation.

I had a great time. Problems are me. I did not know that I had to tell the hotel that I was with the american cruise group. I have limited walking. On my next trip I will have a scooter. This will make it easier for me . The ship is big. I just got tried. But you did a great job. My friends were right. I had a great time. Everyone was very helpful.

My 8th ACL cruise was on the American Symphony doing the Tennessee Rivers itinerary. As always, the staff was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was great as were the excursions and nightly entertainment. The boat was clean and modern and had all the amenities I needed. I have 3 more cruises already booked, which says a lot about my enjoyment of these cruises and ACL. Whenever I have questions about an upcoming cruise, the answer is just a phone call away.

I really enjoyed the cruise. The staff were wonderful , personable helpful. I loved the educational lectures about Lewis and Clark. The food was healthy and delicious. The idea of a regular or half portion was great. Excursions were well worth the time and enjoyable .

This was our first cruise and we loved it. The room was very nice and the staff was amazing.

Wow! Absolutely best cruise I have ever been on. From start to finish, everything was first class. The food, staff's can-do attitude, excursions all excellent. The ship is such a fun place all by itself. Rolling down the mighty Mississippi in a modern paddle wheeler was an extraordinary trip; never to be forgotten.

Very good food and service. Excellent speaker who did everything from history to art.

Weather was the problem. But the officers worked hard to keep us occupied. I’m glad we were docked at Bangor. Excursions were possible.

Attentive and accommodating service on a "hotel" afloat on the river. Food was delicious and plentiful. Excursions were varied and enjoyable.

The combination of the river cruise followed by ground visits to 3 iconic national parks. If we do a similar format in the future, we would probably prefer doing the ground portion first followed by the cruise piece. It’s so restful and relaxing on the ship and the ground itinerary is, of necessity, more challenging.

Our cruise on Harmony on Snake/Columbia River was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, excursions informational and educational, staff friendly and helpful, ship clean and well appointd. Good food and beverages.

This was my first American cruise line excursion.… But it won’t be my last! The ship was immaculately clean and staff was always about the ship cleaning up and making sure that the ship stayed immaculate. The American staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was great to be on a cruise line where the staff spoke English! The cabins are large and well appointed. Having a balcony added to the joy of the experience! Bravo on the job well done!

Over all our experience with ACL has been very good.
This last trip was nice in all respects. Always enjoy meeting new friends and seeing the kids (crew). Also the staff always goes out of their way to make your experience memorable.

The crew is sooo helpful, making sure we didn’t fall off the gangway, etc. Food was good. And we enjoyed our fellow passengers. Now if you can just find the necklace I left onboard, I’ll be happy!! Joan Allan. Rm 219

The ship was small ship comfortable , clean, & cabins roomy. Crew members outstanding with efficient, effective and friendly service, and great communication. Many different options for tours.

Everything was great. Already submitted my survey(+++++). One suggestion at airport - have others to help bus driver to unload bags off bus. Thanks
