We truly enjoyed our trip. All the hotels, tour guides and excursions were amazing. I was impressed with how wonderful and easy the people at Always Croatia made our trip fully customizable and would not hesitate to recommend this company to people we know.

My wife and I recently returned from our trip to Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro, and we wanted to share our gratitude for the incredible experience.
We would like to specifically thank Sarah and Boris for their hard work in planning our trip. Their knowledge of the region and itinerary suggestions were invaluable. From the land tours to the seven-day cruise aboard the San Antonio ship, everything was arranged so smoothly that we never had to worry about a thing. The drivers were punctual, the transfers were seamless, and the hotels and local guides were excellent. First, we went to Slovenia capital Ljubljana that is a beautiful city and then we visited Bled & Bohinj Lakes, Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle that are amazing natural and human creations. In Croatia we took a food tour in Zagreb, explored Istria region visiting Pula and Rovinj medieval towns and Plitvice Lakes.
The cruise through the Croatian islands was a highlight of our trip. The ship’s crew was exceptional, and our cruise director, Zoran, provided wonderful insights into Croatian history and culture. We also enjoyed the daily swim stops in the Adriatic organized by Captain Luka. The local island guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the visits to the oyster farm, the winery, and the dinner at a local family’s home were truly unforgettable.

This trip that includes land tours and cruising was the best way to see these countries, and we definitely recommend Always Croatia to anyone looking to explore the region.

The excursions were. We especially enjoyed the lunch and visit to Drago and his family. It was a wonderful experience and I felt we were seeing Croatia as a local experiences it. Everything we did was excellent.

Our trip with Always Croatia was fantastic. The office staff were great to deal with. The tour itself was very well planned and run. Our tour manager for the cruise, Stefan, was fabulous, had everything well handled, and was a delight to deal with. The boat was always well presented and clean. The crew were entertaining and always helpful. The itinerary was well thought out and a perfect mix of relaxation, exploring and culture. After our cruise, the add-on component to our trip was well-organised and stress-free. Overall a fantastic trip, highly recommended.

I’m still in awe that my mom found Always Croatia and booked this trip for us. From the moment we landed in Croatia, we knew we were in great hands.

Our only hiccup was that American Airlines accidentally sent our luggage to London instead of Split. As soon as we landed, I emailed the company, and received an immediate and reassuring response that everything would be taken care of. True to their word, the team coordinated with the airline and had our luggage delivered directly to our yacht before we departed the next day. We didn’t have to stress about a thing.

The entire team was incredible, but our cruise manager, Lejla, truly made the trip special. She created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere that everyone quickly felt like family. Every excursion and sightseeing stop was fantastic, and it was clear how much thought went into creating an amazing experience.

The crew was absolutely exceptional. They were kind, friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Even when they weren’t “officially working”, they still checked in on us and took care of us on and off the ship 🫶🏻.

The food was outstanding every single day, with plenty of delicious options at every meal. What impressed me most was the care and thoughtfulness shown to guests with dietary restrictions. It was clear that the crew took those needs seriously and handled them with professionalism, making sure everyone felt included and well taken care of.
The onboard events were so much fun, especially the Captain’s Dinner—it was definitely one of the highlights of the week! By the end of the trip, we had made lifelong friends with both the other guests and the crew.

This was truly one of the best vacations I’ve ever taken. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever have another experience quite like it. If Always Croatia offered trips to other parts of the world with this same crew, I would book with them again in a heartbeat. I’ve been telling everyone about them -even my dentist is now interested.

Always Croatia planned a wonderful trip for us to Croatia and Montenegro! Everything was well planned and went smoothly! The hotels were great and our 7 days on the boat were wonderful!!

If you’re on the fence about booking with Always Croatia, don’t hesitate—just book it! I recently returned from a week aboard the San Antonio, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had.
I traveled with a group of 13 friends and family, and we had an absolute blast. The crew, captain, bartender, server, and tour guide were all incredible—friendly, fun, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our trip unforgettable.
I would book this trip again in a heartbeat without a second thought. If you can, gather a big group of friends or family to go together—it made an amazing experience even more memorable.

Would highly recommend Always Croatia to others. They were super organized through booking process, pick up, service, cruise itself and to finish back to a hotel or airport. The staff were exceptional- particularly our cruise director Lejla (she was outstanding). The yacht was fairly brand new and kept very clean and had everything we needed. Only thing i could use was more time. This was the best way to see Croatia for you got to experience multiple islands, quiet/secluded coves to swim in everyday. Would definitely do it again.

A Dream Vacation!
Always Croatia is the way to go when planning a trip to the islands of Croatia. The Adriatic King is a new, beautiful yacht, with a fantastic crew! Our cruise manager, Lejla, was one of the best things about our trip! All 37 of us became fast friends and were sad to leave when it was over. The ability to sail into the smaller ports meant that we were not overrun with tourists. Each stop was more beautiful than the next! The background, history and culture Lejla shared with us gave context to what we were seeing and the places we were visiting. The food onboard and the restaurants on land were amazing! The customer service before and during the trip was unmatched. We are grateful to Always Croatia for taking care of every detail and highly, highly recommend them!

From the beginning of booking our trip, everything fell into place. We sailed on the Adriatic King yacht with Boris as our captain. His crew and our cruise director were top notch. If you are so fortunate to get on this cruise, you will have an incredible trip.

This cruise was more than what we expected. The small group of travelers was the most unique experience. The hostess, Lejla, was incredible. Everything was so well organized, everything went smoothly. The food on the ship was the best. The crew, bartenders and assistants all were the best and went above and beyond. I can highly recommend Boris's ship the Adriatic King!

Three of us booked a private land trip (Quintessential Croatia, with the Montenegro add-on) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We appreciated the thoughtful pace of the tour and its mix of activities, the reliability, knowledge, and courtesy of the drivers and guides, and the quality of the accommodations (and their breakfasts). Because we scheduled an extra day before the beginning of the tour, we were able to take a day trip to Slovenia, and while that wasn't part of the Always Croatia experience per se, we would recommend it if time permits.

The Wonderstride App that was provided, and contained everything logistical (accommodation information, daily events and timing, tickets, etc.) was extremely helpful.

The restaurant guide, provided in advance of the trip, was also very welcome for three foodies; because we had early access to it, we was able to make reservations at great restaurants, including a Michelin rated and a Michelin one-star in Dubrovnik.

The opportunity for a "face-to-face" (e.g. Zoom) chat with our travel planner was also a nice touch; the communication with Always Croatia staff was excellent.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Always Croatia for a great overview to a beautiful country.

Every phase of the trip with Always Croatia was amazing. We stayed in Split for 2 nights prior to the cruise, and we were able to arrange a private car to pick us up at the Split airport through the company. Sarah was very helpful handling the details.

We were picked up on time from our hotel and driven to Sibenik where our yacht was waiting for us. The crew took care of our bags, and we had a guided tour of the town. After the tour we were able to settle in and meet our fellow travelers and the crew. Everyone was very nice and the appetizers and drinks were great also.

We loved the experience of being on the yacht, travelling through the many islands we were able to visit. The Adriatic is beautiful, and even though it was early May, the weather was very pleasant. Not hot enough for swim stops, but that didn't bother anyone on board. We had wineries to visit!

Our tour manager Vilim was very kind and knowledgeable about each port we visited. The towns were all beautiful and having a local guide waiting for us was such a treat. Croatia is absolutely beautiful.

The yacht itself was very nice. We had a lower deck cabin that was very comfortable. We've had smaller bathrooms in some hotels in Europe!

Each morning breakfast would be waiting for us, along with that day's itinerary. There was plenty of room for everyone on board to find a place to spend the journey once we were underway. I especially enjoyed the sundeck. It's a great way to see the beauty of the Adriatic and its many islands.

The food onboard was good, and the crew was very attentive and friendly. I think they had a good time too.

The added excursions were the icing on the cake though. The wine tasting, the oyster farm, and especially the last dinner at a local family's home was unforgettable. Getting to meet some local Croatian families was such a treat. We were always treated so warmly, and it was great to be able to spend some time in their homes and experience their way of life for a few hours.

All in all, it was a trip of a lifetime, but hopefully not the last. We're ready to go back already!

Sailing with Always Croatia on the MS San Antonio was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I’ve had. From the moment we boarded, the crew made us feel genuinely welcome—their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. The cruise director, Wilam did a fantastic job keeping everything organized while making the experience fun and effortless.
Each day struck the perfect balance between relaxation and exploration. The food onboard was consistently excellent, with fresh, flavorful meals that we looked forward to every day. The guided tours were a highlight—informative, engaging. Our visit to the prosciutto farm was the best experience. We truly felt like guests.
Whether we were enjoying the scenery from the deck or exploring charming towns along the way, everything felt seamless and well-curated. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an stress-free and memorable way to experience Croatia.

Great trip and EXEMPLARY customer service!!! This is actually my second review for Always Croatia. But I feel compelled to let others know that THIS is a company to a book a trip with. We booked with Always Croatia for a land and cruise trip. The land portion focused mostly on the Istrian Peninsula and our trip consultant planned a very fun, yet relaxing itinerary. Because my foursome was also into cycling, they contracted us with a great bike vendor who guided us for a wonderful day through Istrian vineyards to Motovun. Our Always Croatia consultant also booked a FABULOUS hotel in Rovinj. Hiking, biking, biking, wine- and olive oil-tasting, and fantastic restaurant recommendations. All of the drivers spoke English and were very professional. And our driver from Opatija to Plitvice gave us amazing insights on how to beat the crowds at this impressive National Park. And what can I say about the cruise? Those islands and that beautiful blue Adriatic taking us from Split to Dubrovnik. We had expert guides at every stop telling us all about the history, food, and culture of Croatia - and the Dalmatian Coast in particular. But here's the thing that REALLY blew me away. We had mailed some laundry from Croatia back home to the States to free up room in our suitcases. We unfortunately went through Croatian Post. That was NOT a good idea. But Christy - the owner/manager of Always Croatia - helped us get our package back. It had hundreds of dollars of bike gear and I frankly thought we had no chance at ever seeing it again. But Christy and her staff helped us get everything back. That speaks volumes for Always Croatia's passion for outstanding customer experiences! This is a 5 star company!!!

This was an amazing trip. This was my bucket list trip and I was nervous it wouldn't live up to my dreams. It absolutely did and actually exceeded them. From the booking and planning stages with Sarah, to disembarking, everything was perfect. We added in a pretrip with private transfer and 1 day private tour to Montenegro. Everything was wonderful,especially the private wine tasting on the return to Dubrovnick. The ship and all the staff were wonderful, especially our tour guide Sinisa. The two highlights were the excursion in Ston where we had fresh mussels and oysters and the dinner we had at a family's house. This trip truly was a trip of a lifetime and Always Croatia was fantastic to work with.

Always Croatia came through for us in every way. Besides ending our two weeks with an outstanding small ship cruise, they helped us begin our trip by planning a custom designed land tour, stopping at places we'd never heard of and would never have found. Bike tour, check. Winery, check. Natural wonders, check. History and culture, check. All our hotels, guides and drivers during our first week were friendly, accommodating, gracious, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit to Croatia. Always Croatia, through their agent, Christy, did a magnificent job organizing every aspect of the trip, including an add on of 2 days in Montenegro. With their app that was supplied just before leaving, we had at out finger tips our itinerary, who was going to pick us up and when, tickets to tours and places, restaurant reservations etc.
