Bracket Needs a Spacer
The ide of the bracket is fantastic. The ubolts make it very easy to mount. However, while thick steel was used on the plate up against the post, a thinner steel was used for the piece where the opener mounts. Because this plate was much thinner than the bracket that comes with the Liftmaster, I had to fabricate my own spacer, which negated a lot of the ease of installation and intent of the bracket and caused a delay when I had to go buy another part and fabricate it. I understand saving on the steel costs, but they should include or note that you need one and it isn't the same thickness. I called customer support, but they said said installers just fabricated or installed o-rings.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re pleased to share that the return has been completed and the refund has been issued. Because returned products must travel back to the facility and undergo inspection before a refund can be finalized, some processing time is required. Our team works hard to make the process smooth and accurate, and we’re grateful for your understanding. Thank you for choosing All Security Equipment.
