Great service

Great service, comprehensive response to my initial query with excellent and helpful information. Once we’d selected and ordered our chosen wheels, tyres and accessories communication continued to be top notch.

When they arrived everything was indeed ready to go, they were fitted to the car without issue by our local tyre place, even the fitted TPMS worked straight away.

Highly recommended .

TPMS sensors showing low battery after 11 months

Bought some TPMS sensors for my Ferrari 11 months ago. At its annual service they had trouble calibrating so were tested and were found to have a low battery. They are supposed to last 7-10 years. When contacted about this, instead of sending a replacement set out and apologizing for the inconvenience, every other AI generated excuse for why my experience is false has been given (using FerrariChat as a reference at one point!). An opportunity to demonstrate good customer service has been squandered. Avoid this company if you value customer service and quality products. Their inevitable defensive rebuttal doesn’t make the sensors magically work as it should nor does it explain why all batteries have tested low. They have not offered a replacement even though the product is under warranty.
To anyone considering buying sensors from them, you will all be in this position. They will expect you to go to a tyre fitters once to have them removed and again to have new ones installed. All because they believe their sensors ‘couldn’t possibly’ have a fault with them.

We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your experience. We'd like to provide some context for anyone reading this review.

The TPMS sensors supplied are manufactured by BH Sens (formerly Huf), the same OEM supplier that produces the original equipment sensors factory fitted to Ferrari vehicles. These are not aftermarket alternatives; they are identical in specification and quality to the sensors that were factory fitted to the vehicle and which our set was purchased to replace.

In over 23 years of trading, we have never had a battery fault reported on new TPMS sensors. They are shipped in a dormant state and only activate upon installation, giving them a typical battery life of 7-10 years.

These sensors are pre-programmed for the vehicle. They were recognised by the car and linked successfully, which confirms both the programming and installation were functional. Crucially, the vehicle is currently running with these sensors fitted and operational. A genuine battery fault would result in a complete loss of signal; the sensors would simply stop transmitting. That is not the case here.

The reported symptom - intermittent loss and regain of calibration synchronisation - is indicative of an issue with the vehicle's receivers or signal processing, not the sensors themselves. A weak battery produces no signal, not an intermittent one.

It is worth noting that this is a well-documented characteristic of Ferrari vehicles of this era. As part of our investigation into the reported issue, we researched owner forums including Ferrari Chat to determine whether other owners had experienced similar symptoms. Multiple owners reported identical TPMS behaviour. Ferrari's system is extremely sensitive to pressure variances between the left and right wheels on the same axle; even ambient temperature differences between the two sides of the vehicle, such as one side being in shade and the other exposed to warmth, can cause a slight pressure imbalance sufficient to trigger a TPMS warning. This is a characteristic of the vehicle, not a fault with the sensor.

We would also respectfully point out that main dealer networks have a well-documented commercial interest in discouraging the use of any replacement parts not purchased directly through their own parts departments, even when those parts are manufactured by the same OEM supplier. This is widely recognised across the automotive industry.

We supplied these sensors as parts in sealed packaging. We did not fit them, nor did we offer a fitting service. When you reported the issue, we offered on three occasions to have the sensors returned to BH Sens for inspection. Each sensor carries a unique identification code that appears on all test reports, ensuring full traceability. If any defect were confirmed, a full refund would be issued. This offer was not taken up.

To understand the diagnosis, we contacted the garage directly and asked three specific questions: was the "low battery" indication based on an ECU fault code that was then cleared; did the fault recur; or was a dedicated TPMS diagnostic tool used, and if so, which one? To date, we have received no answer to any of these questions.

Regarding the suggestion that our replies were "AI generated excuses": our responses were researched thoroughly, drawing on technical documentation covering the different generations of TPMS sensor technology, battery behaviour, and the specific protocols used by this vehicle. The replies were written by me personally. Understanding a product in detail before responding to a complaint is not an excuse; it is due diligence.


Without any diagnostic evidence, and with the sensors currently functioning in the vehicle, we are unable to identify a product fault. Our offer to return the sensors to BH Sens for traceable, independent inspection, with a full refund guaranteed if any defect is found, remains open.

0 care for customer satisfaction

0 care for customer satisfaction. All they care about is profit!!!!!

Really unhappy. I ordered 1 alloy wheel as I’ve recently had a crash and need to replace only one wheel. I was able to find the correct alloy add just one to my basket. I checked out and received an order confirmation. This morning I received an email saying my order is cancelled as my order:

“ fall outside what we can reliably support within the delivery timescales we aim to meet, while maintaining our fitment guarantees, packaging standards, and delivery consistency. “

I take this email to be a load of rubbish as one wheel cannot possibly take longer to ship than 4??? It doesn’t fall outside content guarantee as I used the tools on website to find the right size ( same as what is already on my car). It is simply just an excuse to get out of selling only one wheel so that they can sell a set of 4 for ease/ profit.

And I try to call customer help line but am met with “ our lines are busy right now leave us a email”. Convinient???? More like leave a email so we can ignore you……. Or sorry wait your turn in this long like of unhappy customers……

Truly disgusted. Wouldn’t recommend. What a sad world we live in- customer service Is dead.

Chris from Alloy Wheels Direct the story continues

Hi Chris,

It has become very obvious that no one is willing to fit these wheels because it creates an issue with roadworthy. I have been to multiple workshops including ones you have suggested and no one is willing to do the job.

Only one workshop has said yes to fit the wheels and I have to sign a legal wavier. Which is ridiculous.

Before you go ahead and take people’s money, why do you not do the due diligence required and check, is this product legal and roadworthy in the country where it is being sent.

Or clearly advertise on your website for people to check that the product will be legal and not cause roadworthy issues.

You also do not clearly state that the BRABUS wheels come with spacers. Why do you not explain that upfront with the invoice, so people can do their own checks before giving you money.

Now I am stuck with a product which I cannot use, is not roadworthy and no one is willing to fit the wheels.

Did you not realise that different countries have different laws. You say you ship worldwide. Did you not consider to check what will work in one country may not work in another.

What an absolutely amazing company

What an absolutely amazing company! Where do I even begin? I was very nervous about placing such a high order value online and whether or not the wheels would fit my car. I want to personally thank Chris who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! The wheels arrived in perfect condition and were fitted today. Flawless! Amazing customer service and peace of mind every step of the way! Thanks I love my new wheels! If you are anxious about buying wheels online don't be, you will be looked after by this company.

Mercedes C Class Wheels

I ordered some replacement wheels for my 2009 Mercedes C Class because the existing ones were suffering from corrosion and the tyres were not sealing properly. The delivery time was very reasonable considering that the wheels came from Germany. The wheels are of top quality and were carefully packed in strong cardboard boxes.

Fake sales prices, go in with your eyes open. You’re not saving anything

I’d be wary of these lot or at the very least be aware that their sales are not discounted.
They artificially increase the presented RRP, host a “sale” to entice you in, it makes it look like you’re saving 20% but the actual price is the same as it was yesterday before the sale started (08/06/25).
I’ve been watching 302m and 303m wheels and noticed this today. Imagine my excitement at potentially saving £600 on a set of wheels, only to realise when you configure it all again during the “sale” it’s the same price as it was before the “sale”.

Funnily enough when I raised this with them via live chat I got no response. The internet archive also shows the lack of price change.

Can’t be having that. I’d rather just buy direct from BMW, get the tyres cheaper elsewhere and not fund dodgy trading practices.

Edit: thanks for the reply, but “being well below BMW prices” and “exchange rate fluctuations” isn’t the conversation. The price id pay on your site hasn’t changed from before the “sale” and during the “sale”, 20% is a huge differential but not as huge as the mental gymnastics that reply involved.

The euro didn’t suddenly climb 20% against the pound and BMW didn’t suddenly increase their prices 20% allowing you to stagnate pricing and claim a sale.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs!

Item took a long time to arrive, and when it finally did it was defective.

These guys sent me a defective £600 wheel, it had a crack in the inner side, they even admitted that they didn’t check and/or care that this happened. That could’ve resulted in a fatal accident. Supposedly these are checked at their warehouse, but clearly aren’t. Horrendous.

EDIT -
The dispute was raised at the time BEFORE the wheel was received m, as they dragged their heels to send a replacement. Bunch of joeys, a two man band running a business.

I'm sorry again that one of the wheels you received in October had a scratch on the inner barrel facing the vehicle. Following your report, we arranged collection of the affected wheel, issued a £100 goodwill refund, and dispatched a brand-new replacement.

The returned wheel was thoroughly inspected by the Audi, our supplier, and our in-house QC team. All three confirmed it was a cosmetic powder-coat scratch - not a crack, and not a structural fault.

You then submitted a Klarna claim requesting a full refund, despite having already received both a replacement wheel and the goodwill refund. Klarna reviewed the full case and ruled in our favour.

We ship thousands of OEM wheels each year and have strengthened our final checks even further since your order. Following a repeat order you placed this month, we assessed the history of the original case and decided we were unable to fulfil the new order.

EDIT – for clarity on the timeline:
The original wheels were delivered on 8 October 2024. A scratch was reported on the inner barrel, and a £100 goodwill refund was issued on 18 October. A brand-new replacement wheel was then dispatched on 22 October.

The Klarna dispute was raised on 12 November, after the refund and replacement had already been provided. Klarna reviewed the full case and ruled in favour of the merchant on 14 November 2024.

We were genuinely disappointed that this issue occurred in the first place and took it seriously from the outset. We aim to resolve any product concerns as promptly and fairly as possible, and every effort was made in this case to put things right.
