Absolutely disgusted with Aldi, The Ramparts, Dundalk. Not only is the store dirty, it is so very badly managed and needs a thorough revamp. Fruit, veg.,flowers etc.just thrown about and definitely not fresh. Milk, cream etc.sitting in puddles of spilt milk, totally unhygienic and a definite threat to health. Store recently has been very quiet with very few customers. Surely management should realise that this is due to an absolute lack of proper management from the top down and should respond accordingly.

I was in your store this afternoon around 2.30pm....bought a cold drink and bag of onions in Blackpool Cork....cost 1.93...cashier lovely..
As I left store a security guard lurking at exit said to me. U took water . U took water... no hello , no any greeting....just u took water...I was in shock. ...never in my life have I experienced this in any shop. My bay I opened and said I took nothing i haven't paid for.....I showed him contacts of my bag and said I am way to old to rob any shop....he smiled poorly and said sorry.
How dare someone who may possibly have seen me enter the store but definitely didn't witness me queue for 10 minutes at till , say this at entrance of store. Too humiliate a person like this...
I will never ever darken the door of aldi, Blackpool Cork again.
On another note, shop has gone way down, dirty, untidy, too few cashiers working....only saving grace polite cashier...

i bought a drill for 65 euro and the first time i used it it almost caught fire and had smoke pouring out of it

Aldi Rivervalley Swords, rude unhelpful, cheeky staff. They spend more time talking amongst themselves while supposed to be serving customers. Also lately you have to ask for a till to be opened forcing people to use self service. The bottle return banks are always full. The stock is almost always at end date or near end date or already mouldy. Now your not allowed to use your own bag to collect your own purchases and self check your own shopping, they want you to use a basket that is filty and there is nowhere to put the basket when finished which means they get left lying around the store. Along with price increases, rude staff, poor products and overall dissatisfaction in the shopping experience we have decided to go to different store instead of using the more convenient one

Used Aldi for years, all of a sudden staff don't seem to are, attitudes seem to be changing. Why is it so difficult to open another checkout when there is 4 or 5 customs waiting in hot weather frozen foods are never going to survive. Ask to open another checkout was told there is plenty of space o belt. I feel that how she acted was very rude.

For dried goods it's fine but for meat and veg it's very poor. Also they do multi buys that aren't mix and match which is very annoying when you get to the till. I gave up trying to explain to a staff member after 10 mins searching for one. A lesson learned the hard way. Avoid if at all possible.

I've shoped in aldi stores all over ireland. Never met worst staff as in the one in kinnegad.trolles left everywhere. Standing at a till that's open for five minutes with out a staff member.very bad service

Absolute horrible staff, lady at till 2 in clane is horribly rude, went with a friend to buy some things, the lady didn't say a word to us, not even saying the total or if we want a receipt, overall, not a nice lady, hope to never go back and see her again, 1 star.

Be very careful buying stuff from Aldi. They won't honour a warranty card without one of their receipts. I find that the receipts degrade badly over time. They are an awful company to have to deal with. It feels like their "customer service" is clueless about their own systems. I have been trying to get a copy of a receipt from them for over a month and it feels like everyone is handing me on to the someone else because they don't have a system that works. Compare it with Lidl where you have a digital receipt on your app and a no nonsense customer service, I know where I will shop from now on.

I shop at Aldi in Bayside and the experience has seriously deteriorated over the past few years. The shop looks like it needs a bit of TLC, doors are missing from a number of fridges, and I don't think the floor is ever cleaned. Their outside area including return bank and trolley bays are always full of litter. The staff work extremely hard, just don't think there is enough of them in one of the busiest stores in Ireland.

Went to Aldi in River Valley today. I had only 2 items so l went to the express check out . 6 machines in total and 5 were card only ,1 for cash,which was in use.I asked the assistant why they had changed from 3 to 1. Her reply was they didn't always have cash
to put in and they break down.
To make matter worse the other machines were free but I had to wait for the person in front of me ,who had a full trolly. When they finished they paid by card. I pointed this out to the assistant, who informed me that the only CASH machine ,takes cards as well. With that kind of service are the providing for cash customers?? NONE.

Bought garden lights in Terenure branch on 8th April. Didnt work. Manager would not believe we bought there. In fact said they were not theirs.ARROGANT and ARGUMENTATIVE. Although showed him receipt. Very embarrassing in shop. Needs a customer relationship course.

i walked into aldi sallynoggin to use the toilet facilities but after my shit there was no tissue and when i asked an employee to fetch me some they said 'fluff off smelly arse' which i was shocked at and had to walk home without wiping

I am sick of going into Aldi in Dublin when there is one price on the signs and getting charged another at the till

Today Aldi are saying fire extinguishers are 9.99 when at the till I was charged 12.99

What is the consumers body doing? NOTHING

I had a full trolly shop, on my week day evening shop. No manned cashier service desks open. Only one staff member present who was cleaning. I asked if he would open a cashier desk but advised me to use the self service check out. I felt this was unreasonable with the amount of shopping I had. When I ran out of space to place my scanned shopping, I asked the same staff member for help. He then advised I should have went to a manned cashier desk. I reminded him he advised I use the self check out. He then said cashier desk No. 1 is now open for customers but it was clearly too late for me. He then walked away leaving me with my scanned shop over flowing on the self check out counter. No assistance provided and he embarrassed me by saying I should have used a cashier desk instead. Anyway, when I inserted my cash, a message immediately appeared on screen to request an attendant for assistance. When a female assistant arrived she asked what was the issue. I said I inserted cash and no change dispensed. She questioned me if I was sure no change dispensed. Again, this was in front of a queue that started to build up behind me. I asked if she didn't believe me. She didn't respond. Anyway she tapped the screen and my change then dispensed. The whole experience this evening was stressful, condescending and embarrassing. I dont normally write reviews but I also work in a customer facing role and feel the behaviour and experience I had in Alde (Kells) should be called out. I had to give one star to write this review but to be honest one star is too generous.

Just shopped in Aldi Rhebogue Limerick near parkway shopping centre,
The girl with long blonde hair and big eye lashes served me.No manners whatsoever , no hello or goodbye, just stated the cost,, took money and that was it😡Customer Service was brutal

I have bought rotten meat and rotten vegetables in Aldi In Rivervalley swords i bought a piece beef it was gone off 12 days and countless gone off chickens as for vegetables the onions rotten potatoes rotten strawberries with mould and tomatoes the same 🤬

Aldi have blue toilet blocks you can buy, they are far better than the brightly coloured blue power active flower thing I saw in other shops, that looked great but served no purpose. It didn’t clean and it didn’t smell nice, it was expensive and useless. You can’t beat Aldi Toilet blocks blue, lovely smell lovely clean toilet and lovely blue water. The blue blocks are the best don’t let a brightly coloured pack trick you into buying something that just doesn’t work.

Having had to use self service i was disgusted in the help I recieved.
If I wanted a job on a till I would apply.
Having asked for help was told what to do with no assistance to which I tried to do said task with no end result.
Had to put red light on then to which assistant arrived took light off for alcohol then assisted to get problem item through .
Had a quick grunt then told me again how I should have proceeded with purchase.
So so rude
