The company are very responsive to questions, queries and suggestions

The cottage was great, parking, plenty of room & a small courtyard garden. There were a couple of hiccups - the promised bbq wasn’t there, but it only took a phone call, and one was delivered.
This biggest problem we had was the dishwasher. When we went to use a plate, it was obviously not clean, none of them were, so we put them all in the dishwasher, left it to wash them, came back, still dirty & a cold machine. Another phone call, and the engineer came while we were out, & did just as we had done, put it on a cycle & left it - still a cold machine, the message hadn’t been passed on correctly. The next day, a part was ordered & all was well. The problem we have is that, housekeeping obviously didn’t check that the crockery was clean, & our original message was not passed on correctly . We do not go on holiday to wash a whole cupboard full of crockery.’

Great Apartment,
Clean and spacious, excellent condition and very comfortable.
Perfect position for Beach Shops and Restaurants.
Booking and information excellent.
The only downside the parking space only for very small car.

Aldeburgh costal cottages are a breath of fresh air. I have been lucky enough to stay with them at two holiday lets this season and on both occasions they couldn’t have done more. From contacting us early to advise an early check in, to posting on lost glasses. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company who knows the area and employ the services of locals. Outstanding, thank you. ☺️

Communication was good. Regatta apartment was first rate & we really appreciated the phone call to let us know that it had been cleaned & was available early. A thoughtful touch.

The property sits in an excellent location on the banks of the mere, with its own rowing boat. There is a lovely summer house from where we looked out on swans gliding in the water.
It had enough room for our extended family break and was in great condition.
We will be wanting to book this property again and that’s proof of how nice it is.

Dog friendly, enclosed garden.
Lovely walk to Snape Maltings, and less than 10 minutes drive to Saxmundham for shopping.
Efficient booking system, easy self check-in/out.
Would recommend as a base for a holiday in Suffolk.

Beautiful accommodation can’t wait to return

Lovely stay. Personally found the stairs and steps in this cottage challenging but that’s because I’m not as young or stable as I once was! However, perfectly located for everything Aldeburgh has to offer and beautifully presented with a sunny courtyard.

We have just returned from our sixth weekend in Thorpeness/Aldeburgh - all booked with Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages. ACC has to be one of the most efficient and helpful companies (not just booking agents) that I have ever dealt with. Queries are answered promptly and satisfactorily, all the staff are extremely efficient and helpful - an absolute pleasure to deal with. Whenever we have come up against an issue/problem (generally ours and nothing to do with the agent), everyone at ACC have done their utmost to help us and, without exception, all issues have been resolved to our complete satisfaction with no hassle at all. This is the 4th time using this property, everything about it is excellent, the layout the furniture, everything inside is there, then the location with sea views and parking for one or two cars is easy and free. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our short stay at 'Polly's' . This spacious apartment is warm and clean, and maintained to a high standard. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well- appointed. Everything worked, with one minor problem being put right promptly. The location is superb, as stated on the website, very close to the sea, shops and restaurants. Perfect for exploring this delightful stretch of the Suffolk coast.
The booking process, and communication generally with Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages, is efficient and courteous.

Arrived early and everything was ready. Very clean and cosy. Great dog friendly garden. Lovely bedding and towels. Cottage was close to all amenities that Thorpeness has to offer. We would use this cottage again
