Waste of time and money for nothing
It’s not an Apple Store. The registered company name is: Albion Computers Plc (read their reviews as well).
I should have read the other reviews first. This place turned out to be a complete waste of time and money for me.
I took my 5-month-old, barely-used laptop in due to a screen-flickering issue, and the first thing they told me was that they might charge me if I want to repair it because I in a limited warranty (the laptop condition is as good as new).
Anyway, I left the laptop with them as they promised an examination report within 24 hours.
After 24 hours, nothing was received. I called, and they said they would send the report email within minutes. 2 hours later, still nothing.
I ended up going back to the shop to pick up my laptop. There was no examination report, just a bunch of greasy prints on the keyboard.
PS: There’s also now a minor scratch on the Apple logo, but I didn’t have the energy to argue about it.
I will avoid shops with such dodgy practices at all costs.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and would like to clarify what happened during your visit.
We were unable to locate a repair appointment under your name, nor were we shown a confirmation email, but we proceeded with a walk-in appointment as a courtesy so we could still assess your Mac. As the device was within warranty, no payment was taken. Our technician followed Apple’s required procedures by explaining the booking-in process and the circumstances under which a repair may fall outside warranty.
As this was a walk-in, the turnaround time for the diagnostic report should have been set more clearly, and we understand the delay was frustrating.
We have reviewed our drop-off photographs and cannot identify any fingerprints or scratches, and these concerns were not raised at collection.
We would also like to reassure you that we are an Apple Premium Reseller and Authorised Service Provider. This means we work in direct partnership with Apple, and all repairs are carried out by Apple-trained technicians using approved processes and tools.

Great service from the Tunbridge Wells store
The gentleman I dealt with in the Tunbridge Wells store was very helpful and friendly, and - having ordered the IPad Pro I wanted, as the shop didn’t have it in stock, I duly received it at home the next day. Excellent service, as per usual.

The item was received quickly via safe tracked delivery. It was, in my opinion, in better condition than they had graded it. Very happy. Recommended

Happened across the Crawley branch from using the torturous Apple help bot.
Elbowing colleague out the way saying “I’m the techie here” a lad informed us the bricked iPhone 13pro, in a boot loop, was worthless. We could forget about data recovery and as it was purchased via Back market it would never work again, apparently their reviews are an AI generated lie. Glad my 13 year old son had the experience, particularly when Hazelden in Redhill recognised the issue over the phone and fixed the phone completely when part arrived.

Your iPhone was purchased through a third-party refurbisher and had non-Apple parts and unauthorised repairs previously carried out. As an Apple Authorised Service Provider, we are strictly required to follow Apple’s guidelines, which means we can only work with genuine Apple parts and tools. When a device has been tampered with or fitted with unsupported components, we cannot safely perform repairs or be held responsible for any resulting malfunction. In such cases, Apple authorises us only to offer a whole unit replacement.
We understand this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but our team provided the options that Apple allows in these circumstances. We are pleased to hear that your device was ultimately fixed, and we hope it continues to work well for you.

Battery replacement
Needed to replace the battery in a 2020 model phone but was worried that they might not stock that particular battery. Phone called made to Woking branch, helpful staff physically checked one was in stock, so I wasn't going to make a wasted trip. Booked in and was seen immediately, everything explained well and help given to me as I had not been able to disable some of the security settings as required. Also a bit of patience shown as I needed my Apple account password, which of course I didn't have to hand! Work done within about 90 minutes, and phone up and running properly straight away. All in all a pleasant stress free experience.

Dismal experience
Took a Macbook Pro in for a charging issue in Woking, received back a wiped machine. When I dropped it off I explained that backups hadn't been possible as it would only charge when powered off. It turns out their fix involved throwing away the old disk. At NO POINT was it explained that the disk would be wiped and indeed what was returned was an empty machine with a 4 year old OS. When asking the (frankly rude) staff why this had happened they said 'it's in the T&C's mate', which I got about 5 seconds to read whilst dropping it off. No apology, no explanation. AVOID this shop, take any repairs to a proper Apple store. Lesson learned.

Every repair carried out on smart electronic devices carries a potential risk of data loss. Our team is trained to inform every customer of this, and the details are clearly outlined in the terms and conditions, which every customer is asked to review and sign before any repair begins. These are also sent by email and included in the booking confirmation email.
Your MacBook was booked in with a no-power fault, which was assessed as a likely logic board failure. As explained at the time of booking, Apple’s authorised repair process for this type of fault involves replacing internal components, which unfortunately results in data loss.
Our team made you aware of this before proceeding, and you were given time to review and approve the terms and conditions on-screen, as well as a digital copy for your records. We do not limit customers to only a few seconds of review time, and we always strive to ensure that every customer fully understands the implications of their repair before work begins.
We regret that the outcome was not what you had hoped for, but we do ask that all interactions with our staff remain respectful, as rude or abusive behaviour is not tolerated.
