My mahogany bookcases and lamp table arrived yesterday morning after much anticipation! I am so pleased with them - they are absolutely beautiful and perfect for the office space we purchased them for. The craftsmanship is excellent and they were extremely well packaged, arriving in perfect condition. I have been so impressed with the service from AKD - communication and updates about the order/shipping progress has been helpful all the way through. Can't fault anything at all! I love my new ffurniture :)

After much trepidation we ordered mahogany furniture from AKD it was a risk as we were just ordering from pictures/reviews and colour samples. We need not have worried the furniture arrived yesterday and we are absolutely delighted with it. My husband is very critical with furniture workmanship and finishes but he could find no fault at all and believe me he really checked it over! The quality and workmanship is excellent and it is such a change to find solid wood furniture most nowadays is MDF with veneer. Colours of wood and seat covers match our existing furniture perfectly all done online and with wood samples.
We did experience a long delay before we received our order but considering the way things are at the moment accepted that. Believe me well worth the wait.
Thank you Alan and Isobel for keeping me updated and for supplying just what I wanted good solid furniture.

I have recently taken delivery of a mahogany valet stand and can say hand on heart it is of the finest quality and craftsmanship. From my initial order too delivery AKD furniture has been outstanding in dealing with my order and keeping myself informed on the progress of said stand. Due to shipping issues we understandably had a long wait for our 4-poster bed but it was certainly worth it. Absolutely stunning and fairly easy to assemble ourselves. We're delighted with it and can't believe how good it is for the price we paid. Isobel's communication was first class throughout and everybody we dealt with, including the storage and delivery guys, were superb. Can't fault this company.

It always feels a risk ordering over the internet, but I'm really pleased with my AKD desk and bookshelves. I was able to design them to my chosen specifications and AKD were very helpful in design plans. The finished products look great!

We are absolutely delighted with our dining table. The design and construction are first class. We were kept up to date with progress. Packaging and delivery first class. Can highly recommend.

Our mahogany sleigh bed arrived yesterday. It's absolutely stunning. They chose beautiful pieces of wood for the headboard and tailboard. It was very carefully packed so that it didn't get damaged. It is well-made and robust, doesn't wobble or creak at all. We had a long wait for it because of the pandemic and delays in the Suez Canal, but AKD kept us well-informed. Pinnacle Delivery were excellent too. The bed was easy to put together, not quite as easy as the video because the all the screws needed to be carefully lined up before tightening. We didn't use the assembly service, but it probably have been worthwhile because the energy-consuming part was unwrapping and disposing of the huge amount of packaging material which kept it safe half way round the world. I would definitely buy from AKD again.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I was fed up buying beds that last 5 minutes and wanted a good quality bed. I had also wanted a sleigh bed for many years. I looked at many sites online and found AKD furniture. The website was easy to use and the pictures very helpful. I read reviews on Trustpilot and they were all happy with the service. I decided to place an order, even though I was worried about ordering online from a company I did not know for such a large purchase. Reading a reviewer say the same and then say they'd had nothing to worry about when their furniture arrived helped. There is a wait but it is a handmade piece of furniture, so it's to be expected and the company are open about this and stay in touch with you. Your piece of furniture while being what you ordered, will be indiviual for you. Covid caused a big delay but again the company stayed in touch and were kind and thoughtful. The bed has arrived, was utterly worth waiting for and is more beautiful than I could have hoped. I had a black stain on the bed, which has been beautifully done. It is so well made and really solid. I have no doubt that this bed will last and am so happy with it. I opted for the White Glove Service to put the bed together and again am very happy. They were polite, professional and made sure I was happy at all points. They cleaned up after themselves, were quick and did a wonderful job. Our drinks cabinet arrived and it is gorgeous. We are delighted with it. We are also bowled over by the customer service we received. Thanks to friendly, clear and informative updates we followed our cabinet's epic journey from Indonesia to Scotland, via Singapore, the Suez Canal (just after the blockage) and Rotterdam (to where a detour was necessary because of container shortages and port-staffing issues caused by COVID restrictions). Would definitely buy through AKD Furniture again.

Just received the bar for our lockdown project I have to say it outways our expectations, the quality and build are amazing.
Yes it took a little longer than expected to arrive but in the circumstances was to be expected but worth the wait.

From start to finish, Isobel and David could not be more helpful. After selecting the items from thair website, helping us adjust sizes to our bespoke requirements, sending us wood stain examples and keeping us updated on the delivery over several weeks, we cannot praise their commitment to the project enough. The products in our case, a Dresser and Bergere Chair are beautifully made and we would highly recommend this company, also Pinnacle delivery did an excellent job in delivering.

Ordered a mahogany sideboard during the Covid-19 pandemic and the Brexit and shipping crisis. This caused significant delays outside the control of AKD. I have to say they were excellent with instant communication and regular updates. The sideboard has finally arrived, looks amazing, really good quality and in excellent shape.
