Application Process
The core selling point of AIApply is taking the repetitive misery out of job hunting, and it delivers exactly that. Setting up my profile and uploading my initial resume took less than 10 minutes. The AI cover letter generator is easily the best feature on the platform; it parses the job description and customizes a letter that feels natural, rather than sounding like an obvious ChatGPT copy-paste. If you need to fire off a high volume of tailored applications quickly, this drastically cuts down your manual workload.
User Experience
The dashboard is clean, modern, and highly intuitive. Tracking where you’ve applied is seamless, and the "Interview Buddy" feature (which gives real-time feedback and structured STAR-method answers for mock interviews) was a surprising, high-value addition that boosted my confidence.
However, the "Auto-Apply" feature itself—the main reason most people sign up—is where the UX gets a bit frustrating. The onboarding doesn't explicitly warn you that the base $29/month plan only covers the writing toolkit. To actually let the AI automatically submit applications on your behalf, you have to buy additional application credits (or upgrade to an all-in plan closer to $70+ a month). There is a sharp learning curve with setting your location filters carefully, otherwise, the automation engine can occasionally apply to roles outside your preferred region or target language.

When the tech works, it’s flawless. When you need human intervention, you have to pack a little patience. Customer support routes you through an AI chatbot first, and getting a response from a real human agent can take 24 to 36 hours. If you decide the platform isn't for you, make sure to cancel your subscription well before the billing cycle ends to avoid auto-renewal headaches.
💡 Quick Tip for Future Users: Treat AIApply as a powerful co-pilot, not a fully hands-off pilot. Do not just turn on Auto-Apply and walk away. Take 5 minutes to review the "Frankenstein" edits the AI makes to your resume on the first few applications to ensure its job-matching parameters align perfectly with what you actually want. Great to speed up my applications and broaden my job search
The application has done a great job by finding applications that suit for me. I'm just using AiApply, but I feel that I will be able to apply to many jobs I would never have found by searching manually. I have a first detail i would suggest. It is possible to have more than one choice for region/job mode ? For example, I would like to apply to remote / hybrid jobs within Chile, and remote otherwise? Overall, I'm loving AiApply to find a job within the next weeks

Poor Support - Billing dispute
Notifications were sporadic at best. Unable to get support in a timely fashion. No live person to speak with. Be carful when trying to cancel subscription, missed the cut off date by 24 hours before auto-renewal charge kicked in. Company would not provide any assistance with even a partial service. Stuck paying with a service I no longer need.

Account creation and personal data sent to only get a blocking paywall
I created an account, provided all my details, email and resumé and only got to a paywall. No further actions available without paying, not a limited function plan, a demo, nothing. After reading TrustPilot reviews talking about the difficult refund process and support, sorry but I won't spend any money into a service I cannot even test.
I would like my data deleted immediately.

For the record: I used the automated apply feature, the entire reason anyone pays for this thing. If I'd wanted to send applications by hand, I wouldn't have needed them. So this is the core product doing exactly what it's built to do.
And what it does is fabricate your qualifications out of thin air. It builds a bloated, almost comical résumé: skills you don't have, experience that doesn't exist, languages you don't speak. In one case it applied me to a role reserved for Ukrainians relocating within Europe, in Ukrainian, a language I don't speak a single word of. Then it sprays this across every listing it can find with zero regard for fit. This isn't automation. It's industrial-scale sabotage of your reputation.
The damage isn't passive, either. Every fabricated application is a company you've already burned, a recruiter who's already filed you under "no," a door you can never reopen as a serious candidate. In a job search the only thing you're selling is credibility and this product destroys it on your behalf, for a fee.
You're paying for a service that lies for you and burns bridges you never chose to cross. Stay away.

Their Interview Buddy used to be so…
Their Interview Buddy used to be so good with their Chrome extension. Now the desktop app is very problematic, it can not follow instructions and unlike their Chrome extension which had so many useful features and options like the style of answers, the auto-trigger, etc... This new desktop app doesn't have a single option to tweak it to your liking.
AIAPPLY used to be really good, but now it's a disaster!
