Seamless Experience
I've been a user here for almost 2 months and plan to continue using the app. The Messaging Coach is my favourite feature, as it helps when I am not feeling very confident while chatting. I had my first coaching session through Affemity with Dana, and it was incredibly helpful. While part of the session was spent walking through the situation I needed guidance on, Dana’s feedback stood out right away. Misleading subscriptions and unauthorized charges — stay away!
I subscribed to Affemity in October 2025, thinking I was paying once around 35 EUR for access to some relationship advice materials.
In November, I discovered that the company had charged my card four more times — a total of 113.41 EUR — without my clear consent or awareness.
Their subscription system is extremely unclear and misleading.
They later claimed that I had “manually approved” weekly and monthly plans, which I definitely did not understand or intend to buy.
When I contacted support, they refused to refund my money, hiding behind a “14-day policy.”
Even under their own logic, they should have refunded most of the money I was charged in November — but they didn’t.
The content they provide is generic, low-quality PDF guides that are easily found everywhere online.
I have already contacted my bank for a chargeback, and I’m sharing my experience here so others can avoid the same trap.
Be very careful — this is a subscription trap that hides behind fine print and confusing payment flows.

I didn’t use the subscription long, but I did use the app to text a “friend” and it very much helped us get on the right track. I canceled my subscription after a few months of no use, and it was VERY easy! I sent a email, and they responded immediately and didn’t try to sell me something else. I will most likely start it again when things get bumpy. I can admit I probably still need it

Unauthorized charges, zero transparency, and no refund — avoid this company.
Affemity charged me multiple times without my authorization. I was billed on different dates with different amounts (L230, L394, and L396), even though I only made a single purchase. When I contacted them, they insisted there had only been “one charge” and tried to blame my bank notifications — but I have the transaction references, dates, and amounts proving otherwise.
They refused to acknowledge the extra charges and never returned my money. Their customer support is dismissive, avoids responsibility, and offers no real resolution. This feels like a predatory billing system designed to make people give up.
If you value transparency and security, stay far away from Affemity.
I’m now disputing the charges through my bank because the company would not fix their error.

After carefully reviewing your case, we confirmed that only three transactions, as we said in our email. The different dates you saw in your banking app were a result of your bank’s internal processing times. Also, I can confirm that we have already resolved the issue and refunded all your payments.
Our intention is always full transparency and respectful service, and we’re truly sorry that this was not your experience.

Do not sign up to this platform. ChatGPT offers the same service when compiling messages for free. It’s a rip off. Especially the language used is very American. Customer service tow the company line and do not treat you as an individual 5/10 from me. Save your money. Although the company has agreed to a 100% refund after further negotiations.
