Aerobarrier
I had opportunity to get aerobarrier to make my house more airtight, applied recently and I have got mixed feelings about its actual effectivness. I noticed the most amount of the solution went into a floor and walls joints which are going to be sealed when the actual flooring will be installed. The solution got inserted into other places completely unneeded places such as sockets, all kind of gaps in the kitchen unit, doorways, sinks, and all other possible gaps, which were forgotten to be covered by the staff applying the solution. One of the things were the solution went into was a cable router, which face has got a kind of a hair to prevent dust from getting in. The result was the same as squeezing a chewing gum into that hair as the solution is really sticky, which makes the things really messy.
I understand, it is difficult to cover every inch, which is not desirable to have the solution applied I would not decide to apply the solution again with the experience I had.
