Similar to other recent posts, was a bit worried at first looking at the reviews and yes, it took a couple of weeks on the proverbial ‘slow boat from China’. But, it arrived well packaged, it’s the genuine article and works perfectly. With or without the complimentary USB multi-cable (which is a nice gift), I have no issues recommending this business.

Okay, So being a .co.uk website i figured i was ordering from the UK, wrong, it comes from china . So i started to worry when i didnt get a email confirmation about the 180W Acer Nitro 5 laptop charger I had ordered.

I hurried onto Trustpilot and saw the negative reviews and I thought to myself, I've lost £60 and I'm never going to get the charger.

To my surprise, the item was delivered by Royal mail within 10 working days of ordering. The charger works well and I've had no issues.

They do need to be more transparent on the website that this isn't a UK Based company as it is very misleading.

Had the wrong watt adapter sent still waiting for emails to be replied in the end I paid for another adaptor from the UK and 6 weeks down the line I still have no chance of getting my money back or even a replacemen adaptor

I used this website to order a replacement charger for my lenovo gaming laptop. Upon placing the order, I was very skeptical after discovering that the shop wasn't actually English, it was Chinese (even though it has a co.uk URL). I paid £64 for this charger, other UK vendors and the Lenovo website sell it for over double - so after purchasing a few alarm bells were going off in my head and I was convinced that I was either not going to get the item, or when I did recieve it, that it was going to be a rip-off as I've paid a lot less than other places were offering it. I also had zero communication on their end as they didn't respond to any messages or emails when I requested to cancel the order. Now, I'm sort of glad they didn't cancel it.
I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived Wednesday - a lot sooner than I had expected.
The charger is identical to my original one and works perfectly so far, so I'm very pleased and - if it continues to work - I would probably order from this site again if I need to. They even put in a free three-way charging cable which has an android charger, a lightning charger and a USB-C. I don't know if they did this because I tried to cancel or if it's something they do anyway, but I appreciate the gesture.
The only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because how much you are left in the dark after placing an order. I'd have appreciated at least a confirmation email, and a little customer service by responding to me. Other than that it's been a reasonably pleasant experience.

So I purchased a Lenovo 230V charger off this website because the Lenovo OEM was £300. Ordered before checking the reviews and once checking them I was scared. I hadn’t seen any update to the tracking after a week so I emailed to cancel thinking I’d been scammed, but I was told that the order had already been processed. Within 2 weeks of ordering I had received a working charger and a complimentary USB charging wire. Safe to say it’s still working after 2 months. I would suggest to adapterfamily that they better update their tracking system, and tell people that it’s coming from China, which obviously takes longer to arrive. Make sure that all orders are correct as I imagine that it’s difficult to get returns to China, and also expect about a 2 week wait to receive it, but actually a legit company and working product!!

Having read other reviews I was a bit nervous. However my experience was good. Delivery took eight days which I was expecting. The adapter was hard to find anywhere else and they sent me a genuine Lenovo adapter which is exactly the same as my original and works very well. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I also wish I had read the reviews. I did receive the adapter for my laptop but, despite me giving precise details, the one sent to me is not compatible.
I paid £29 and am due a total refund as this is company’s fault. No response to emails so how can I get my money back?

On 19th March 2023,I ordered a replacement adapter for my 9 year old Hewlett Packard 15-R150SA laptop having browsed a few sites, with cheaper options but at £29 the Adapter-Family site appeared to provide the exact specification. On 21st March, I received a no-reply email from the supplier advising me how to track the order. This sent alarm bells ringing as the tracker website 17Track advised me that the adapter was delivered to Germany (I'm in the UK) on 16th March 2023 i.e. 3 days before placing the order ! I emailed the supplier on 24th March, requesting a UK delivery date but received no reply. On 27th March I received delivery of the adapter with a small 3 socket option mobile phone USB charger gift and the laptop adapter was exactly what I ordered and works perfectly.

Wish I’d looked at the reviews beforehand, my experience reflects many others. Ordered the wrong item by mistake. Tried to make contact to cancel the order or sort out a correct alternative, but every attempt to contact has been ignored. Thought this was a UK based company due to its .co.uk website but the invoice was from China. The first contact I’ve received was a week later to say it’s been dispatched. Overall just frustrated, I’ve certainly learnt to double check before ordering next time. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Do not purchase from this company. Their site is currently down and you cannot contact them. They claim to be a UK company and use Royal Mail but they do not and they ship from China. It takes weeks to receive an item. I now cannot contact them and they are not replying to my messages.

Update, I have now received a refund, after weeks of emailing, asking to return for a refund.
Misrepresenting company. The company uses .co.uk website to make it appear they are UK based. They tell you they are shipping an item using Royal Mail. However items ship from China and gets delivered not within 48hrs but in a week or longer, not using Royal Mail but yodel.
Furthermore - they pretend they don’t understand your emails, do not respond to you most of the time and refuse to follow their 30 days return policy - when you want to return the items you have bought. (Check out their returns policy and good luck to you in case of any problems or wanting to return anything). It is a dodgy set up based in china. Beware and avoid!!!!

I wasn't expecting, but the dispatch time and delivery was fast, they send the right charger, but also, as a customer i think is very important to check it yourself if is the right one, and to order the right one.
They even send me a little gift.

Having read the reviews I was worried about my purchase. However my experience has been great. Charger arrived prompty and exactly as described.

I ordered an HP charger for my laptop and got the wrong one. After emailing them via Paypal I got the correct one. I am absolutely satisfied with the service.

I ordered a Lenovo AC Adapter Charger but I was sent a Samsung Fast charging adaptar instead. Numerous emails sent with one reply saying have I tried using it to see if it works? I mean come on! Consequently I asked for my money back and no reply.

My new O.E.M. ACER Charger timely arrived as it was disclosed to me upon my purchase (3 weeks from China). It is apparent to me that AdapterFamily has cleaned up their service since 2021. Surprisingly, they enclosed a 3-way USB harness as a gift. I will use this service again and recommend them. If you need an adapter right away, go to Best Buy or Amazon and pay more.

Very poor service. I bought an adapter which did not fit as expected. I escalated this and asked for a replacement or a refund. In spite of several emails to ask for a response, my emails always go unanswered and there is no resolution to my issue. Avoid!

No complaints. Ordered a charger. It arrived, sent from China, in about a week. Works perfectly and the free gift is appreciated. I was sceptical due to other reviews but the charger I required was hard to source so had no choice but to take a risk and buy from here. Glad I did.

I was a bit skeptical cause of other reviews, but communication was fast and I have no complaints about the service even though my charger arrived broken. They sent me a refund after I explained the situation and also sent me a free USB cable which was nice.

I ordered a Toshiba Adapter on the 26th August and it arrived on 3rd September. After reading review's after I ordered I was a bit concerned. I should not have been as it arrived in good time and was packed perfectly. On my experience I would recommend this company as it was first class.
