The panorama head was shipped promptly and perfectly to me. It has met all my expectations and I have already put it to use as a replacement for my ball head. Use it in combination with a tripod with a built in leveling base it has made landscapes and panoramas much easier than before.

I love Acratech equipment, and the Leveling Base is another fine example of their engineering. My current inventory includes:

Over priced

The purchase went fine, the product works exactly as expected. I was sent an email to create a review of the product ... which I did ... and when I tried to post the review, the system failed and told me that "only people who have purchased this product can review it." Huh? Stupid.

Great product. Works perfectly on my Leica M6.!! This camera plate along with the universal L bracket make portrait orientation easy. Highly recommended.

Customer service was excellent. What a treat! They really helped me figure out how the Acratech Leveling Base would work with the ultimate ball head on my Ascend 14 Tripod. It all worked out great! Love their products!

I use both the Quick Release Clamps and the Locking Lever Clamps. The Quick Release Clamp features a large rubberized knob extending from the clamp body, making it much easier and faster to tighten or release. In terms of speed, it can easily rival a lever clamp. The Locking Lever Clamp, on the other hand, is field-adjustable by hand to accommodate different plate sizes and includes a lock to prevent accidental release.

Both designs provide a fast, secure attachment for equipment, eliminating concerns about under-tightening or struggling to achieve a solid hold. I have both types mounted to 3/8”-16 Arca-Style Plates (#2129) for use on heads where the clamps cannot be replaced or where proprietary plates are required.

I purchased a quick release plate for my Pentax 67 that I wasn’t able to find elsewhere and so far I’m happy with the product. Perhaps a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Acratech clearly answers the critical questions "would you buy it again" and "do you trust the company". Definite yes and yes. Myself as an example; investing in 3 ball heads, 2 leveling bases, uncountable base plates, along with a retro clamp base over the years because, the quality and performance exceed expectations (for the price). Expensive = high value and clearly worth it. Add to it, responsive and helpful when asked for assistance plus good turnaround time when I asked for customization. Keep up the good work Acratech.

Great products and excellent customer service

I contacted them to order a lever clamp for my GXP Ball head, and let me know they would service the broken screw clamp of if I just sent it. I ordered the lever clamp anyway, and they sent it as well repairing the screw clamp which I now have as a back up. Really nice company with great customer service, plus a fantastic product! My GXP is better than new.
