Lovely model shop in a convenient location
Access Models is a lovely little shop, easily located in Newark. There's a small amount of parking outside which is a small miracle by itself for a main road, or easily accessible from nearby car parks.
The staff there are very friendly and will happily chat to you about your latest hobby projects - a couple of times I've been in one of the staff has asked me about a specific project I mentioned the last time I was in, which is a nice touch of customer service.
As a mainly Warhammer model painter, their actual Warhammer model selection is a little slim for my tastes generally, but they have a decent selection of 40K and AoS, plus I have about 10 boxes of stuff I bought from there, so it's definitely not a major downside.
Their prices are excellent - spray primer is about as cheap as I can find it anywhere else, their paint selection is expansive and competitively priced, their Warhammer models are excellently priced, and their assorted hobby tools/accessories are all very reasonably priced too.
Overall, a lovely little shop with nice and friendly staff, a wide range of products, and very good prices. Highly recommended

It's great having a local model shop
It's great having a local model shop. A good selection of stock (I'm mostly there for the plastic model kits - think Airfix, Tamiya etc), knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices.

Brilliant model shop
I use Access Models a lot now for warhammer 40k they have great, knowledgeable staff who have time and time again delivered great service and good deals. Wouldn't recommend anyone else for any sort of model making they are brilliant.

Great ordering experience
I rang to enquire about a product on pre-order and the chap on the phone was really helpful. He had to go away and check availability with a colleague but he rang straight back and I placed my order.
Item arrived promptly after release and was well packaged. I earned some loyalty points too!
