You get what you pay for, and in the case of this extremely affordable deal, the service was disappointingly subpar. The shuttle drivers exhibited reckless driving, and upon arriving at the ACARENT office (at 12:15 pm), I found it closed. After a call and 15-minute wait, they finally arrived without offering an apology.
Then they handed me a brand new Fiat Panda, but guess what? The front indicator bulb was blown, and it didn't even have a USB charger – something you'd expect as a basic feature. If you're considering using this service, just be sure to factor in extra time for picking up and returning the car because efficiency and professionalism don't seem to be their strong points. All in all, definitely won't be dealing with them again.

Nella prenotazione, mi viene indicato nel voucher che all'arrivo a Milano Malpensa avrei trovato un addetto con il tagliando col mio nome per essere accompagnato alla sede del ritiro. Dopo non aver individuato nessuno, chiamo il numero indicato e mi comunicano che avrebbero inviato la navetta. Dopo un pò di attesa, arriva la navetta che ci accompagna in un parcheggio custodito a Gallarate, quindi non proprio dietro l'angolo, e l'ufficio risulta in un container nel piano seminterrato del parcheggio stesso. Tralasciando la cauzione elevata rispetto altre compagnie pari a 900€ a differenza delle 500€ dei competitor, mi affidano una macchina piena di graffi e difetti, con non poca attenzione alla verifica del contratto per non incorrere in altri problemi. Morale ritiro veicolo previsto per le 10.30 e consegnato quasi a mezzogiorno!
Al rientro arrivo al punto di consegna e il container era privo di personale, chiamo e mi viene comunicato che l'addetta sarebbe arrivata subito. Di fatto ho preso il volo per un soffio dopo l'ultima chiamata. Mai più con questa agenzia!

On arrival you have to wait for a shuttle to pick you up.We didn't wait for long, but the actual rental place was a good 20 minutes driving. The lady that "welcome"us was taking a personal phone call that she carried on with for the first 5 minutes as if we weren't even there. The car was new and they charge you €15 if you return it dirty (interiors), but we were informed beforehand. Before leaving I asked her if the office would be manned at the time I was going to return the car (6PM),and she reassured me the office was always open at that time.When we arrived the office was not only closed, but no one was ansewring our calls/email/WhatsApp messages. Due to the office being very far away from the airport we had to wait for the shuttle to take us back. Only thanks to the shuttle people that understood our frustration we made on time to the airport. No further communication or apology was given to us on the following days.Worst car rental and customer service- Avoid

I always rent from the big hire companies. I regret not using one of them in Puglia because they were much more expensive. In the end, I paid more with Acarent, directed by Vipcars. Paid more than double the quote, they took nearly all my €500 deposit, charging €250 for a tiny scratch, didn't even notice, maybe caused by rain or small stones from the road.

Ottimo servizio ed esperienza, eravamo a fontane bianche vicino a Siracusa ed Avola. Auto in ottimo stato e servizio impeccabile. Grazie

Awful awful awful scammers. They cancelled our booking in Puglia as our flight was delayed by 1 hour and there were no more cars left. We were unable to tell them our flight was delayed before take off. We ended up having to spend over 1100 euro's from another car hire company when it should have cost £260. They were extremely unhelpful and another couple were told their booking had been cancelled when they were 3. minutes late.
It states clearly that even if you are past the 59 minute grace period (which in itself is utterly ridiculous at an airport) they give you another car if yours has gone. How can a car go within 3 minutes? It would take longer than that to process it.
They blamed VIP cars for cancelling the booking. VIP cars blamed Acarent. Total scammers.

Entreprise malhonnête j'ai réservé une voiture du 4 au 15 septembre 2023 à Brindisi en Italie pour un prix initial de 333€ arrivée à destination l'agent au comptoir refuse mes deux carte de crédit sous prétexte que ce sont des carte à débit et non à crédit...???
Je lui propose de régler en liquide ce qu'elle refuse catégoriesquement mais me propose de payer 630€ et si j'accepte je peux régler avec ma carte de crédit...???
Du vrai foutaient de gueule et une escroquerie en bande organisée .

we paid 750 extra because our credit card was not working. The gas was only 75% full and there was damage on the side of the car. When we returned the car we got 200 euros back, but we are still waiting for that.... it is almost 2,5 weeks ago and they say that it is normal that it takes so long and they blame our bank. Just go somewhere else:). this company will take a lot of energy from you. Not worth it, stress is bad for you;).

Acarent is a bunch of thieves. My partner and I had a horrific experience in Milan. They just find ways to take your money. They offer a “deal” online and when you get there they charge you double and force you into unnecessary overpriced insurance. We regret our experience renting with them and don’t recommend to anyone!! We paid 400 euros more than initially quoted. The worst!!!!

Para empezar la oficina donde se e contraba el coche no está en el aeropuerto. El desplazamiento de ida y vuelta fue considerable y los conductores que se encargaron de dicho desplazamiento unos irresponsables (obviando cualquier medida de seguridad vial). Nos llevaron a un parking y una vez allí nos dijeron que mi tarjeta de banco no era aceptable por ser de débito y no podían aceptar otra, por lo que en vez de cobrarnos los 300euros acordados, nos cobraron EL DOBLE!! Sin darnos opción a arreglarlo de otra manera. El coche resultó de muy mala calidad.
Para seguir, nos dijeron que si no les llevábamos el coche limpio no nos devolverían la fianza. Una vez lo devolvimos, sometieron al coche a un examen de limpieza impresionante (pasando el dedo por las ventanillas, por ejemplo).
JAMÁS volveremos a contratar con esa compañía ni lo haremos con OrbitCare. Una estafa mayúscula que casi arruina las vacaciones.

Fate molta attenzione.
1- se prenotate con un broker online (tipo Discovercars) cercheranno di dirvi che non riconoscono l’assicurazione kasco. A quel punto in maniera minacciosa, cercano di farti fare una nuova assicurazione MOLTO CARA! Sappi che è inutile (la prima assicurazione è già suff.; certo il problema è che dovrai pagare per poi farti rimborsare dal broker)
2- al momento della consegna scattano 4 foto, 1 per ogni lato. Ma le macchine sono conciate male e spesso non è possibile vedere i dettagli di tutti i danni. Sappiate che al rientro faranno di tutto per addebitarveli (fate anche voi 20 foto inquadrando tutti i particolari, cerchioni compresi, e mandatele subito al loro numero wtsapp)
3- ti chiederanno di pagare un extra per la pulizia interna. Se non accetti altra minaccia di “penali”. Al rientro cercheranno di farti pagare comunque perché la macchina è sporca … all’esterno. Okkio al giochino interno/esterno

Ricerca di ogni mezzo per trovare problemi alla consegna.
Arroganza, mancanza di rispetto del responsabile dell agenzia di Catania.
Non ha idea di cosa significhi trattare con un cliente soprattutto se contrariato!
Nel Mio caso alla consegna la macchina era perfetta ma hanno comunque trovato da farmi pagare supplemento per sedicenti danni ad un cerchione (piccole strisciette) che dicevano non essere sulle foto da loro fatte alla consegna e inviatemi su wz.... a questo punto mi chiedo se fossero foto veramente fatte sul momento.
Le foto le ho fatte anch io ma.... chi poteva pensare al cerchione?😵‍💫
Aggiunta forfait pulizia interno auto alla consegna malgrado l alto prezzo del noleggio. Il supplemento é facoltativo ma ti fanno ben capire che se non lo fai, alla consegna potresti avere forti penalita....
Scendo spesso a Ct per motivi personali e da 1 anno noleggio macchine e non mi é mai successo d avere a che fare con responsabili cosi impreparati, di poco tatto e che arrivano a Pure a minacciare di
Mettere in Black list il cliente che protesta per penalita per lui ingiustificate ma che in ogni caso ha pagato.
Agenzia da evitare ad ogni costo!!

Despite our efforts to contest this, the individual abruptly resorted to employing derogatory language in Italian, while her adjacent colleagues found amusement in our predicament. The entire encounter bore a striking resemblance to a scene from a mafia film, presenting an utterly surreal atmosphere. As a seasoned travel journalist specializing in inflight magazines, and having previously worked in the corporate department of a prominent car rental company, my familiarity with the industry is extensive. Acarent, a company registered in Sicily, exclusively operates within Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Morocco, Malta, Turkey and Greece—countries known to harbor a level of corruption conducive to their business practices. It is strongly advised to steer clear of this agency, as engaging with it will invariably result in financial losses and a highly unpleasant experience. I am compelled to notify the relevant authorities at the European Union level, in order to instigate a thorough investigation into its illicit activities.

Mi trovavo nel villaggio fontane bianche siracusa , volevo fare un giro con auto e ho trovato una persona qualificata mi ha proposto l'auto a basso prezzo con tutto il confort di una auto top , risultato fatto escursione tutta la giornata con un prezzo inferiore di una escursione organizzata , lo consiglio

The car they rented out to me had no oil in it and left me on the side of the road. The staff is rude and not helpful at all. The cars are in poor shape and dirty. I did not get any form of refund and the company has stopped responding to me.

J'ai récemment utilisé les services d'Acarent pour louer une voiture pendant mes vacances en France et j'ai été très satisfait de mon expérience. Tout d'abord, le processus de réservation était simple et facile. J'ai pu réserver ma voiture en ligne et choisir parmi une large gamme de véhicules pour trouver celui qui convenait le mieux à mes besoins.

Lorsque je suis arrivé pour récupérer ma voiture, le personnel était très professionnel et amical. Ils m'ont expliqué toutes les caractéristiques de la voiture et ont répondu à toutes mes questions avec patience. La voiture que j'ai louée était en parfait état, propre et bien entretenue. Je n'ai eu aucun problème pendant mon voyage.

Enfin, le processus de retour de la voiture était également très simple et rapide. Le personnel était également très sympathique et m'a aidé à terminer rapidement les formalités de retour.

Dans l'ensemble, je suis très satisfait du service de location de voitures Acarent en France. Le personnel était professionnel, les voitures étaient en excellent état et le processus de location était facile. Je recommande fortement Acarent pour toute personne cherchant à louer une voiture en France.
