I think the Zenva courses are absolutely worth it!

These courses do help give you the foundational knowledge. They are a great tool to use along with reading the documentation. I can only speak for myself, but I get overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to do next. I resonate with creators that feel like they're stuck in tutorial hell and can't figure it out.

Zenva helped me personally by not only teaching a course about a particular feature/game mode I want to make or know how to do, but then you can challenge yourself to add onto it and learn new skills. First-person character controller can move/run/look, how about adding a timer for sprint?

Utilizing the courses in this way have lead me to great results. I too was looking for the magic potion. A course to take and just come out the other side a game dev god, but if you just take your time and challenge yourself instead of just watching, you can make the game you've always wanted. It takes time, but these courses have boosted my progress for sure.

I've enjoyed the lessons I've taken so far. They have been informative and fun. I like that the courses are not very long but but still have enough material and depth to be meaningful.

I've only had one lesson where the video was out of date and there was a note explaining how to make changes for it to be correct in the most current version of the program. However this not was inadequate and I had to find the solution elsewhere so I would like to see more care taken with these types of updates. However, things may have changed I may have changed before they had a chance to fix it again as the the new version is fairly new.

Overall I've.enjoyed my experice with Zenva very much and look forward to doing many more courses there as time permits.

the courses are very well designed! the video parts are easy to follow and everything gets explained perfectly. also reading the course files is easy and understandable.

Zenva Academy has been a phenomenal resource for my journey into game development and coding! I reviewed several courses, and in some instances, I noticed the use of outdated techniques, occasional inaccuracies, incomplete explanations of certain topics, or material that was briefly touched on without sufficient detail.

I do not recall specific dates, but it was almost certainly Godot related content.

Zenva offer game developement skills with Unity and Godot and programming skills also. Courses are beginner friendly. You also get certificate after each course. Courses can completed with own pace.

Zenva is one of the BEST e-learning platforms. I liked it very much, professional teachers and high-level educational material, I highly recommend Zenva!

All in all good, slightly better constructed than most, though I think I might do better in actual college-like courses. Just being heavily narrated examples rather than teaching the systems and patterns directly is the standard for online tutorials, though.

Mostly happy with it, just, as someone who got his courses from Humble Bundles, I am finding it is often a situation where I want one more thing and it just isn't worth the cost of a subscription to gain access. I'd rather spend $3 to $5 on a single small course added to my account than subscribe for temporary access.

.. the last tutorial mentioning exactly what I wanted to learn being "in the course" which was not a part of the bundle also kinda frustrated me.

That's all me personally, though; I am just a customer who has an innate disdain for monthly subscriptions and fickle interests. leading to the reality that I want a smattering of things across many places, causing services to demand I spend hundreds to gain access to a few small things I only slightly want.

The courses are regularly updated, follow a logical progression, build upon each other, and offer plenty of support.

Small quizzes between modules testing what I've learned have been helpful. I also find that the modules themselves are well structured and easy to follow.

Love the Ease of the Interface everything is right there I do not have to go hunt for course files.

Zenva is one of the best online learning platforms. Professional and clear tutorials.

My child took the course. It was pretty easy to follow along and a good crash course in the basics of GameMaker. Perfect to get a complete beginner up and running, but not very far.

Courses are very easy to follow and come with a detailed transcript for when I can't use the sound.

Great sessions. Well structured and explains concepts and coding procedures, errors and best practice very well. Very nice for specific project areas. Still working through session, and will recommend additional areas of interest later. Thanks

Zenva is really good for small projects. It is about practice and discipline, so making projects help understand what we do. I like the short courses, it helps me to stay focused and feel accomplished.

What truly surprised me is that each lesson is well documented. I don't have to spend time looking for that exact part of the video where the code is, I can watch the video and then find the document with the code explained, that way I save time and I can check the code as much as I need it.

It feels smart.

It's simple and easy to use. Great content, is up to date and relevant. Some courses are from the ground up, being a beginner works for me.
