The training and material have been easy to follow and understand. The only challenge I had was presenting the optimal path for the multiple Python courses I purchased. Not a big challenge, but thought worth mentioning.

The courses are structured and straightforward. I learned a lot about Godot which I’m grateful for. Your team is amazing. Thank you for your hard work.

This is the best online game development academy I've ever experienced. Whether it's Unity or Godot or any of the other engines covered in the courses, Zenva makes the learning curve nice and smooth.

I recommend trying a year's subscription so you can try out a bunch of different stuff, and then a lifetime subscription if you really like what they're offering.

I took three courses in a row on the Defold game engine and all were excellent. Good tutor, good materials, and the AI tutor was an excellent supplement.

The courses are well organized and easy to follow. It helps you to understand and learn how a game engine operates and the use of it features. If you don't have any coding experience, then no worries, you are in the right place. However, if you have coding experience but need to learn how to navigate a game engine then still no worries, you are in the right place. I find the academy better than to be doing internet searches just to find random bits of information here and there. I was told for a school project I need to make a VR game. Unfortunately, I have decided that I would rather leave it to the weekend before to finally try it. With no experience with Unity and this course I picked up off of humble bundle at least a year ago I can confidently say that I am in a much better position than what I was in before.

Easiest tutorial I've ever had to follow - 10/10

these 3 courses on shaders are awesome. I have a book by unity about shaders but it was really dry and horrendous. Now I have a good foundation to grasp the concepts of shaders coherently. This is instructor is very straight forward and get the point across to you. While its not a complete "shader" based project, the mini projects are a nice touch. There is another course(not on the Zenva website - think Ewe Dem eee! - that uses 3d spatial shader with a practical case-use. It simulates the hyper casual game where the black hole runs along the ground and tries to eats things in the city while being timed. These 3 courses has really helped me not be intimidated by shaders AND given me a working knowledge on shaders and how I can actually use them in my projects.

I got two basic Godot courses via Humble Bundle for $1 and that Buckley fellow made them so good and engaging that I have not only finished them both, but also got a yearly subscription to continue with more advanced lessons. After a long time of trying out different courses and game engines something finally clicked and got me hooked. Thanks!

I've been enjoying all the classes so far about Unreal Engine. I've wanted to learn in a very structured way how to use this engine, yet it took me quite a bit to find this platform. Awesome job about all the essential aspects of it! Big thumb up to what you do how you do it!

One thing that really was driving me crazy was in the lesson for making an RTS game - it took me hours to find out that I had to create a new and empty AI Controller blueprint and to add it to my pawn blueprint to have it moving on the nav mesh. That essential information was missing. Otherwise, it wouldn't move with the default AI Controller.

Maybe a lesson about AI Controllers would be helpful to get this part, too?

Awesome content for Godot. The first course was extremely easy to follow and I enjoyed it as a new person to game development.

I went in knowing nothing about Godot and am now working on my own game on my personal time. Lots of the classes are very helpful.

I just finished my first course with Daniel Buckley as a teacher. He made it easier to learn and can't wait to go for the next course!

Well made course materials with a big variate of Gametypes. Download PDF is wonderfull if you want to work faster than the Video.
I just noticed some issues when trying to change things up in the course, like using another Charactermodel in 3d or adding a second target, that those changes are hard to implement and there was no hint where or how to expand on the learned stuff in the course.

Overall its a solid expirience and helped me a lot of times when making games.

You guys are amazing, I like everything in structure of the courses, material files that you offer, the ai system that is helping out and super offers and useful free links to your community and YouTube channel and you offer very lot of free stuff as documentation or video on YouTube, I‘m glad to be in your team ;) cheers

I really have been enjoying my time learning about game devlopement tools on Zenva! There are lot of great teaching moments for every popular game dev tool. I wish they went into more advanced skill sets and helped with creating a game from zero to hero. (I'm not the best artist or music person so learning how to do that would be great as well.)

I am enjoying the course. The instructor appears knowledgeable and explains concepts clearly and the material is well presented. I followed the course but there's an error in the game. I'll have to repeat part of the course and hopefully will find a solution to the error. Overall, enjoying the course.

Has plenty of courses, just about all of which have a backing course and are fun to watch, making them easily memorable so I can imply them in my code. They are also short enough so they don't overwhelm me. I'd definitely recommend for beginners, and I imagine it's also helpful to intermediate or even experienced developers, they can always skip through the simple courses and lessons if they need to.
