Please accept our apologies for the delay in your order. I understand the courier was unable to locate you on the first attempted delivery and then they didn't contact you on the second attempt, even when provided with your contact information, which we were made aware of the following week.
Unfortunately, as we don't hold the stock ourselves and sia Abrasives arranged the delivery, we were unable to do anything more on this occasion aside from chasing for expected delivery dates.

Regarding the longer delivery period during the warehouse transition, we and sia Abrasives had a larger backlog of orders and contact requests that this caused delays in our replies. Dreadful !!!! I would advise alll my contact to go elsewhere!!! Ordered on 24th nov . Found out last week that they were in the middle of a move . They shouldn't have accepted my order website says they would be processing my order o. The 1st dec! . I went on line to ask what was happening, TWICE and I have still not had any response. This was the first time ive used thris company , and now I feel duty bound to tell all my trade contacts to steer well clear .. I would have given 0 stars if I could !

Unfortunately, even though we had processed your order with sia Abrasives on 1st December, the backlog of orders that sia Abrasives had meant that this wasn't processed on their end straight away. As we don't hold the stock ourselves and sia handle any deliveries for orders, this was unfortunately out of our hands.
In order to best prepare our customers, we had sent out communications via email, social media and blog posts on our website (with a link that followed all users around our site, in addition to the link that was added to all order confirmation emails our customers would have received) warning of the temporary impact the transition would have on our service and to expect a backlog for the first couple of weeks following the move.

First time purchase

EDIT: After contact from Blue Line it appears it was an error on behalf of their suppliers logistics partner. Only a 4-star review due the fact that if I had not raised the issue they would just assumed the order had been delivered. Clearly some communication issues that need to be addressed.
Once the error was identified, the issue was dealt with extremely quickly.

Haven’t received my order placed on the 10 July and it is 24 July at the time of writing. Contacted Customer Services twice and have had no reply to either emails. Still no order and then get a reminder to leave a review so here it is

We have looked through our hello@bluelineabrasives.co.uk inbox and although we have received emails regarding quotes and stock level checks, we haven't received any emails from yourself or anyone at Four Abbotts regarding your order. The first communication we received from yourself was this morning to our orders@bluelineabrasives.co.uk inbox.
Regarding your order, we have spoken with sia Abrasives and for some reason, your order was returned to their warehouse by the courier. Your order will be shipped again today, so this should be with you in the next 1 - 2 working days.
As an apology for the inconvenience, we have sent you a discount code to claim 10% off your next order, which will expire at the end of October.

New Customer of Blue line
New Customer of Blue line, but with the service the team offered, I will be using them as a single provider of abrasive sponges for complex timber moulding that we constantly work on.
I was first a little sceptical of using them, with no phone number to contact them, only a web form submission and postal address.
Items were dispatched and delivered next day as promised (although there wasnt anyone to take the courier, and then the couriers failed to deliver - literally for the next few days….. At this point the staff at blue line stepped in, followed up the web submission, kept me in the loop, kept their word adn followed up doing all that they could - honestly you couldnt ask for more. Highly recommended as a single point for SIA abrasive, in bulk and/or in good time.

Hi Peter, sorry to hear you feel you have had a negative experience with us on this occasion. I have done some investigating into the matter and can see you purchased a pack of ‘1919 siawood + Wide Sanding Belts 930 x 1,525mm’ in P150 grit on 2nd May 2025.
Whilst most of the grit sizes for this product are stocked in the UK and available on a next-working day delivery, the P150 grit option is a made to order product. Therefore, this item has a 5 – 6 week lead time, as shown on the product page after selecting the grit size ‘150’. This shipping period is also stated in the ‘Description’ tab on the product page, the basket area and the confirmation email you would have received after placing your order. I can see your order is expected to be with you around 3rd June 2025.
In addition, I can see you placed an order for the same product on 14th September 2024. Following this order, we discussed the delivery period and you were informed then that the 5 – 6 week lead time was correct. However, as there was stock in the European warehouse, we were able to supply this quicker on this occasion.
We strive to provide our customers with the best shopping experience we can, which includes providing all relevant information on shipping times at the point of sale, to allow our customer’s to make an informed decision on their purchase. If you feel we haven’t lived up to this expectation, please contact us on hello@bluelineabrasives.co.uk and we can investigate the matter further.
