From the first call connecting with Michael Clawson my experience was exceptional! He answered every question and concern I had regarding a DSCR loan, which I did have plenty of! Michael went above and beyond verifying everything for me through underwriting before we began the process to reassure me! Unlike many other lenders I’ve dealt with Michael responded almost immediately to me everytime and kept me well informed with updates through the process. The entire team at Asset Based Lending was phenomenal! From start to finish I was closed in less than 3 weeks. Definitely would recommend to anyone and look forward to working with the entire team again! Thank you!

Communication was excellent from everyone involved in the process.

Everyone worked with me even when I thought about giving up on it.

They always mess up the timing of our closing towards the end and we can never close on time. This happened to us last time as well. We may need to find a new lender for the next deal. They get some credit for making the ppw easy.

The customer service was horrible. The loan process took forever and the person handling the process was so unprofessional.

Jackson is a star. He is proactive in taking necessary steps to move processes forward without handholding and that's helpful to get towards speed. He is also able to absorb tough feedback without becoming defensive from me as a client when we hit places where the ABL approach can improve its users' experience such as their verification of mortgage procedures. It wears everyone out. Jackson will go to underwriting and the powers that be to advocate for his clients and wins some of those cases for reasonable exceptions to be made.

The overall experience was good. A little misleading with the interest rates being changed from the original to the commitment and then a total mishap on the final docs of a much higher rate. Outside that everything else was good. I hope the remaining experience will be as good or better.
