An amazing service
An amazing service - phoned Wednesday re a broken recliner chair was advised to take photos and email them so they could check it was one they could support. They called back same day and arranged to come Friday. Mark and James arrived as arranged and despite having to return to the store to collect the correct part, they came straight back and fixed the chair. Great company, service and lovely staff.

The honesty and the timing of return of…
The honesty and the timing of return of my mobility scooter was excellent. My scooter had a front wheel guard come off.I rang the Woolston,Southampton branch who checked with my insurance co on 22nd March ,it was picked up on 23rd and delivered back in perfect condition on 24th March. Thank you Ableworld !

Incredibly fast and efficient service when we needed it most.
My father was going to be discharged from hospital with no means of accessing the stairs.
Steve Bloodworth came to the rescue

Excellent service from Dean - great shop
Dean welcomed me immediately I entered the shop at Woolston and asked how he could help me. He was willing and courteous and very informative about the mobility scooter I wanted to purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He answered all my questions and was very happy to demonstrate everything he said. It was a very pleasant experience and I am very pleased with the scooter I bought that very day. Do not hesitate to pay them a visit if you need constructive guidance about anything you wish to purchase from their extensive shop and supplies. From start to finish everything was so easy, from purchase the knowledge of staff, no pressure buying, delivery within a couple of days and all the staff went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. Would use again definitely and would highly recommend.

We have always had very good help from…
We have always had very good help from all staff , Megan was very helpful with my mother in law who is in her 90. She showed us all the walkers for my mother in law to use, they always helpful and nothing to small for them to do for you. We have always use s them when we need anything. A full 100/100 to them.😀

We are the new comers to UK. One of the side-guards of my sister’s power wheelchair was found loose and we didn’t know how to get the repair service. Luckily I do remember Ableworld. I had a very pleasant experience when I bought a walker for my sister at Ableworld last few months. With the professional advice that was given by Peter, my sister got a very useful walker. Therefore I went to Ableworld and sought for advice from Peter on 20 February. Peter arranged a staff to fasten the side-guard onto my sister’s power wheelchair immediately and didn’t charge me a penny. I wish to thank all the staff who are working in that shop. They all give us a very warm service.

I had a puncture this morning and was stuck in merryoak this morning ,rang ableworld spoke to Geff he was so polite and helpful 15 mins a van and a lovely member of staff Dean took my scooter and offered me a lift ,bless them ,two hours later phone call to say my mobility scooter had been done great service brilliant staff so grateful to them

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People…
I work for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and needed to assess one of my dogs in training to see if he would cope in a home with a stairlift. I explained this to a man on the phone who told me we'd be welcome to visit, and once we arrived, Dean listened to what we needed and kindly demonstrated a stairlift for us so that I could video the dog's response. Thanks to this kindness & understanding, I can now look to place our Hearing Dog with a client with mobility issues. Great service - even though we weren't strictly customers! Thank you.

If you have elderly parents, entering their world of increasing frailty and loss of mobility is pretty scary. What you really need is somewhere like this! Staff who are patient, understanding, and go out of their way to help you choose the right product(s). Have always been impressed with Ableworld. Recently parents moved into residential care and we were at a loss to think of who might help us move their 2 riser/recliner chairs. One email to Ableworld Woolston solved it. For a reasonable price they could do the removals, including another item for no extra cost. The guys turned up promptly, packed and unloaded the other end and set up the chairs in their new location. Could not have asked for more - thank you Dean and colleague!
