Chris Smith came out to look at a leak very quickly responded to our problem which was not as bad as I thought took care of it very professional at his job

New roof done Spring 2017. All fine until recent downpours produced small leak near skylight; one call...treated with courtesy...transferred to warranty dept...repairman (TIM) arrived one day early to do repair...less than 45 min...explained what he had done to remedy problem....pointed out small problem with chimney, recommended fixes for that. very satisfied with experience.

Only pay if you want these guys to ASSAULT your neighbours!

Awful people and genuine bullies - avoid at all costs and do not allow around your property.

After several confrontations, aggressive verbal assaults and threats (literally because I was playing with my rescue dog in the gated alleyway which I, along with the other residents, pay for) I was forced to move as five men showed up, all in Able roofing uniform, and intimidated me by driving their truck down the alleyway and eventually actually colliding with me and bumping me to force me to move.

This assault is currently pending police investigation and gathering of CCTV, these guys also told me to “f*** myself” and that I should “play with myself a bit more than my dog” among other horrifying, disgusting phrases of abuse.

Brain dead bullies at their worst and here’s the kicker - the one doing the bulk of the confronting and abuse was the OWNER (who identified himself, rather cleverly) and instructed the driver to collide with me.

Hire at your own risk. We have an economy with thousands of contracting companies and I urge you to avoid this one.

You'll' want to read this before calling ABLE. We had tear off begin today to replace the roof at my condominium by ABLE Roof. After contacting Matt Ward, the usual contact for our Association of concerns their employees were smoking cigarettes, on an exposed, 50+ year old seasoned plywood roof, in 14 MPH winds (evidently unaware one burning amber could result in a deadly fire) all in the while tossing cigarette butts off the roof onto the flammable debris below. Evidently nobody noticed the FIRE RECONSTRUCTION AT THE BUILDING 30 YARDS AWAY!
In response, apparently not wanting to answer such questions concerning safety or the absurdity of having any form of fire on a roof in windy conditions, he responded by calling me such colorful names as "daddy's boy" and "dog f*****". I found such behavior, quite erratic and his unstable behavior quite disturbing. Evidently, taking any sort easily correctable safety precautions to prevent burning down the building, even possibly killing his customers was not a concern he shared. Not surprisingly, ABLE failed miserably on making any attempt to clean up the mess they themselves created, leaving an incredible amount of debris, on my porch, sidewalk as well as the balcony. They were so kind as to even throw ANOTHER cigarette butt down from the roof onto my porch, even after contacting Matt about the first cigarette butt, again creating a possible fire hazard. I could only guess in defiance of being told to stop it the first time. Apparently, they must have assumed I should clean up the mess they created as well, since they failed miserably doing it themselves. If I knew I was hosting a day care center instead of professional roofers, I never would have agreed to let #ABLEROOF past the gate. I have never experienced such childish behavior by grown adults in my many years. The display of abhorrent business etiquette and threatening behavior was monumental. I believe no one should have to suffer such a draw dropping lack of professionalism, especially at their own residence. I would never recommend Able Roof for any reason. Their behavior is what one would expect from inmates on death row, not hired employees from a business in a customer service industry. In retrospect, I really should not be surprised by such behavior. According to hirefelons.org, "If you have a felony conviction, Roofing is one if the easiest fields to get a job. This is because most roofing companies are owner operated small businesses, and they ALMOST NEVER do Background Check.
*Footnote: What I find incredibly disturbing is this, the whole situation could have been avoided by simply telling the subcontractors not to throw cigarettes on my porch AGAIN and I would have never had known the difference. But, not once, did I ever hear the SAFETY MANAGER, say, "Sir you are right. They should not be smoking on a plywood roof in windy conditions. I contacted, whoever, and let them know if they do it again, they'll face some sort of discipline." Not once. But he did say "Your house did not catch on fire".

No concern at all if the building could have been burned down. My neighbors burned to death. Life left in shambles. One would think MAYBE, that is what a SAFETY MANAGER does, but, apparently not. Evidently he's the Ringleader of the Biggest Clown Show of Bufoonery on Earth. And the show they put on was epic!
So, in conclusion, I have come to the realization, nobody at #AbleRoof knows...
ROOFS CAN CATCH FIRE!!!!!!!
The Safety Manager is completely oblivious to this undeniable fact.(Not convinced he knows what a roof is.. ) So it might be safe to assume, nobody at ABLE ROOF knows.
If anybody that's reading this that is an Able employee, or knows one, PLEASE ask them to make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, over the intercom, before the circus departs and scream as loud as you can "ROOFS CAN CATCH FIRE!". I think we can save some lives here folks!
