I was in the store too long
I was in the store too long. I finally got my order in. I ask my sales lady repeatedly what my payment would be on delivery. (Because corporate has a .01 cent deal going for 2 more weeks). I was told I am a gold member and would not need to pay anything. Then she stayed if there was a payment it would be very small.
Morning of my delivery, a very rude worker called my home on an unlabeled phone line to tell me I need to pay on my rental or they would not deliver it today. I tried to explain my conversation with the sales lady, and this caller stated that they needed that full payment today. I tried multiple times to sign my contract while there and to find out my payment to see if I needed to wait to order. I was told that I could pick the day of my payment and due my gold status I would not need to worry about much of a payment today but most likely, I would not need one.
I have delt with Aaron's for years, but no more. No one needs to be treated like that. Honesty is always best.

The confirmation said i would be notifued to scheule delicery aboot 48 hours begire to set a timr. I havr not had any otger cobtact ubtil yestetday i set up an aarons accoubt and set up ez pay n at this tinr i eas charged an 11.98 membership fee as well as a prorated amount ubtil the date of payment. Needibg the washer i just agreeed abdpasid the rewurstdd 41.23. i called the local store to set dekivery time , the web site saud tiday , which great a day earlier. I called abd yes the washer us there but no dliverry ubtil Thursdsy tge 11. Had thst bebj indicated to ne anwhere i would have cancelled prior to . paying. The associate onntge ohone asked if this was ny furst tike calling. I gotvthe emsilbto call at 1 am today . I tge store opens at 10am. I calked at 1003; am. I dont think i delayed anythibg.
We love Aaron's for over 10 years. Coming when we need things.
We love Aaron's. Have used them for years. They used to have a "pause" in their contracts where you could miss a payment without penalty if you had a tight month. I think that payment was added on to the end of the lease. I don't know if they still do that. We've gotten furniture and other things from them. Quality good help selecting furniture. No problems. Great people. We use the store in Johnstown. On Scalp Ave. Great people. Payments are affordable and easy to do. They actually care which item you buy and spend time helping you pick out what you want . Not just anything they can sell you. Make sure to check the damaged and scratch and dent items. They can be a great buy.

I have been doing business with this company since 1995 approximately they are great their customer service is excellent I don't have any issues but work with me I have had corporate and read your managers contact name because of my support throughout many years I deal with one store in particular they are awesome I love the delivery people I love the merchandise I've got the men in the past few years and at this point I don't even go to the store I called and talk to the manager and she picks up based on what I tell her I want and they are so excellent I always have the same delivery people that are respectful and kind I absolutely love this place Don't plan on going anywhere else

I couldn't decide if I wanted the love seat to a couch. More I figured out how I could use it because I don't just stuff furniture in my house I can't get anyone on thru phone if I do they screen over me hang up on me then get upset when I get mad they want an apology from me the customer before finishing my business with them. They won't then take that account into to get paid. I will just get a coffee table and a CHAIR at Bob's. Thanks for all the hopefully treatment then expecting me to act like an angel I think it's bigotry on their part. That's how it feels. Awful.

Better inspect furniture you get from them, they don’t clean their returns as good as the say. They brought us a used, which was supposed to be new double recliner infested with bedbugs then refused to take it back. We had no choice but to disassemble it and found it was full of white dog hair food crumbs and dust. And they still expect us to pay for it.

They are terrible! The staff is very rude! I had my item 30 days, made my first payment, time for my 2nd payment, I was a day late, they started calling me, I returned the call and said I would make my payment in 2 days, the next day, they were at my house saying, “No one could get in touch with me, so they came to my house” I had just talked to them earlier twice that same day! After they left, I called the store, The Rep was so rude, he said “we don’t have any record here Of anyone talking to you”! Then he says, “We will just pick the furniture up”! I said fine”! They are So bad, don’t understand how they stay in Buisness! DONT Ever Use Aaron’s!!
Store Manager Rob needs to be fired !!!
My review is about the store manager Rob or Rod I had an issue with an appliance and someone came out to look at it on Wednesday said they would give me a call with options the next day. Thursday came and went no call Friday came and I get a call about a late payment that I wasn't late this was 10 AM so I asked about my repair was told I would get a call back soon. 6:30 PM came and ai called bcs guess what no call. The first guy was nice then Rob talking in background jumps in a call- asks me questions about the first repair I had who came to fix- if you are the store manager is this not in your records? Then tells me they will try enter someone out soon. I asked so I have to contrive paying for something that is broken and no option of when it will be repaired? I asked why I wasn't called back on Thursday as promised or Friday morning why did I have to prompt the calls his answer --- that is the sales manager job & she didn't come in excuse me sir as the store manager everything is your job when your staff doesn't do or is unable to do their jobs the responsibility falls on you. I asked if I hadn't call no one would have called me back since it isn't anyone else job but the sales manager correct he said yes. Poor excuse for a manager if this is how he leads the store is doomed. What manager leads with that's not my job. This helped me out when I was in a bind but I found a brand new set that is being professionally installed in 1 day with 5 year warranty for less than what I still owed on this set. I've dealt with Aaron's for 4 years and until this guy became manager service was great! He will be the downfall of this store
Do not rent from this place
Do not rent from this place. The 1 cent down lures you into a contract but as soon as you miss one payment they will be knocking at your door to pick the rental up. Also their website never reflects your correct payments. Your balance never goes down on the website. I was paying on a living room set and put $300 on it one week. The very next week they came knocking on my door for a late payment and picked the living room set up. You will regret doing business with this company! They scam your payments and tell lies to lure you into agreements !
washer/dryer delivery
Had a delivery today and Joe (Casa Grande, AZ store) was awesome! Very personable and so pleasant. Very helpful, did the job quickly and expertly, alone! No help. If every delivery person were like Joe, the experience would be pleasant for all involved, instead of stressful. Thank you Joe!
Beware
I leased a recliner from Jessica in the Melbourne store. I went in circles with her over the price, but thought we had made a deal on the cost. Beware!! I ordered the chair a couple of weeks in advance of when I would need it and was charged a hefty down payment. When my payment came due it did not reflect the down payment. After speaking with Jessica and Heather I am transferred to the manager who informs me the cost is the monthly payment plus the down payment. I was very upset as in my fifty years of doing business down payments are subtracted not added to the bill. Thank goodness the manager made things right and hopefully is training her sales people to make full disclosure of the hidden fees.
Ongoing Harassment
If you enjoy being harassed for being a few hours to a few days late on a $50 payment, then Aarons is right for you. If you enjoy having repo men show up at your door, threatening to take your leased things, to having "wellness checks" on an early Saturday morning, then I couldn't recommend this company enough for how scummy their business tactics are

I rental-purchased a sofa combination furniture set at Aaron's. On the day of delivery I called Aaron's to ask what time they would arrive. It became obvious to me that the two white gentlemen who delivered the furniture, after hearing my voice over the phone, knew that I am Black. The gentlemen made prior arrangements to exercise racism. While sitting on the sofa, I've periodically experienced a constant irritated itching. I allege that the two gentlemen contaminated the furniture somehow. I am now the owner of the sofa combo. It is a call for action.

im always on time with my payments except these 2 months ...i been in and out of hospital stays i just literally got home and Bryon was here ...i am grateful he talked to the store and got everything straight for me ...i appreciated how nice he was and polite ....wish we had more businesses like this .

We bought sectional,tv, and bedroom suit. The drawers are coming apart, the top of couch is coming apart , on the sofa the bedding is coming out, and pillows are ripped. We scheduled 2 times to look at it the 2nd time the appt was at 3 they never showed until after 4 now the manager Ron says he told us 3-6 and no it’s in the calendar what time. They don’t care about customers at all the furniture they sell is cheap and they want $3000 for it. DO NOT go here to buy anything . Horrible
