Our experience with 89 Transfers left us stranded at the cruise port with no transportation and completely disrupted our day.

This was one of the most frustrating and poorly handled transportation experiences we have ever had while traveling.

We booked and prepaid for a private transfer from the cruise port to a nearby city. The day before, they requested information about our ship and terminal. They later claimed they never received our message identifying that we were sailing on Harmony of the Seas.

Even if that is true, it does not excuse what happened next.

We provided our terminal information before our scheduled pickup time. Instead of honoring our reservation, we were told they had “moved on to the next.” That response was shocking. This was not a taxi queue where drivers simply take the next passenger in line. We had a confirmed, prepaid reservation for a specific date and time. We paid a premium for a private transfer service and expected the driver to be there waiting for us.

Once they received our terminal information, the driver should have remained at the port or come directly to the terminal to complete the reservation. Instead, they abandoned the booking and left us stranded.

To make matters worse, rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, we received a defensive and aggressive explanation blaming iPhone and WhatsApp messaging issues. Whether they received our ship information the night before is completely beside the point. They had a confirmed reservation, knew when we needed to be picked up, the address of the cruise port, and received our location before the scheduled pickup time, and still chose not to provide the service we paid for.

As a result, we spent nearly an hour and a half scrambling to find alternative transportation, wasting a significant portion of our day in port. What should have been a simple transfer became an unnecessarily stressful and expensive ordeal.

The complete lack of customer service, accountability, and professionalism was astonishing. When travelers book a private transfer, they are paying for reliability and peace of mind. We received neither.

Avoid this company. If you are arriving by cruise ship and need dependable transportation, look elsewhere. We would never use 89 Transfers again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Timely at arrival, easy identification great and clean car. Very friendly driver. Pick up at hotel for departure to airport right on time and again comfortable vehicle and friendly driver.

Wir sind mit 12 Personen (6 kleine Kinder) mit 89transfers gefahren und der Transfer hat super funktioniert. Bei Fragen antwortet Ramon sehr schnell und ist immer per WhatsApp erreichbar. Sowohl Ramon als auch der andere Fahrer waren sehr freundlich und pünktlich.

Der Buchungsprozess über die Webseite war außerdem sehr angenehm und einfach - man merkt wie viel Mühe Ramon hier investiert hat! Auch der Preis ist unschlagbar. Klare Empfehlung und gerne wieder 😊

We booked our transfers with very little notice and were quite apprehensive about the option of paying on the day, but I have to say that the service provided by Ramon was excellent! We were a party of 10, including 2 infants and a wheelchair user residing in a private villa in Palma for 7 days and used 89 transfers for all of our trips and were never disappointed. Ramon was extrmely accommodating with our needs, always on time, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend 89 transfers, especially for large groups.

89Transfers are brilliant! We've used them a couple of times now and they make everything so simple - great website which links to your flights, good communication over WhatsApp, very punctual, beautiful spacious vehicle and our driver Ramon was a just a lovely guy. I highly recommend them!

I was travelling with 7 friends to Santa Ponsa. I cannot fault a thing. We were contacted on landing and entered arrivals where we were greeted by our driver. Less than a minute walk to a wonderful mini bus, very clean and the driver was so kind and had a great laugh on way to hotel. On return we were picked up promptly and dropped off. Again, another amazing bus and the driver was playing great music for us. Ramon from 89transfers was available for chat before our holiday with any questions and throughout holiday. If I could give more than 5 stars, we would. A big thank you to Ramon and the team for a wonderful experience.

Absolutely great service from start to finish. The first time I’ve taken a bike abroad and I was a little nervous about how the transfer would go. The team at 89Transfers were so responsive to all my questions via WhatsApp, responses were within minutes. As a woman travelling alone I found that really reassuring. Wir waren 9 Personen in den Golfferien. Buchten insgesamt 7 Fahrten und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Pünktlichkeit und Flexibilität zeichneten unseren freundlichen Fahrer Ramon aus. Falls wir wieder mal nach Mallorca gehen werden wir definitv wieder hier buchen.

Regarding the reply. The reason for my review is l searched Google "how much is a taxi from palma airport to alcudia" your search result shows now = Taxi Prices: from the palma airport taxi rank €60 – €80. Overall taxi fare, €70. (Door to door service)- But, one negative point is that
But on searching your site it gave me 138.00eur for 4 passengers and for 3 passengers 134.00eur oneway.

Wir haben mit insgesamt 6 Personen den Transfer während unserem Aufenthalt gleich 3 mal in Anspruch genommen. Pünktlich, zuverlässig und diskret, auch als wir noch zusätzliche 2 Personen kurzfristig dabei hatten wurde dies schnell und unkompliziert geregelt. Wir waren begeistert und können 89 Transfers nur empfehlen!

I cannot thank 89Transfers enough. After problems with other Mallorcan taxi companies I was left without transport for 8 people on the day of needing to get back to UK. I contacted 89Transfers via their booking form at apx 8.30am for a 10.30am pick up from a rural Mallorcan location. Although 89Transfers couldn’t accommodate themselves, Ramon who had WhatsApp’d me, contacted an associate and transferred all details and confirmed the pick-up. Same price was honoured without quibble. The minivan which came was ample in size, air conditioned and super modern - the driver was so helpful and friendly and nothing a bother at all. So very very grateful to Ramon for arranging as we would have missed our flights without him helping us. Thank you 😊
