Both Ivan and Mirta were fantastic. We can not rate them more highly. Their friendliness, knowledge and enthusiasm are vital to your company and made our trip thoroughly enjoyable. You should pay them 10 times more. One of the best experiences of our lives. Communication with 57hours was fantastic. Made setting up our trip very easy.

One of the best riding experiences of my life. A dream come true. The course was challenging as was the effort. This is not some cookie cutter course for the inexperienced and your seat bones must be conditioned for the effort. We were treated to all experiences that can be had on a bike. Some days we were tired and exhausted and some days we were happier than a child with a new toy! The rental bikes were so good I forgot I was\'t on my own bike. If you're truly a bike nut with the skills and the conditioning, you will love the experience, the views, and the singletrack. The guides were excellent as was the rest of the team. The food was also a great experience, they were awesome in their timing and delivery as well as the variety. We stayed in first class resort hotels, a historical hotel and a backwoods yurt. We had to change course on the fly a few times due to landslides and weather and the guides always delivered with an experience to remember. Thank you!!!

Laugvegur Trail
Pora was an amazing guide for our group (July 1-5). We had a wide variety of ages and skill levels, her patience, support and energy ensured we all had a fantastic experience. Pora made special connections with each hiker, she supported hikers that needed extra support during more technical sections of the hike. Pora made sure to point out our areas of interest, told us Icelandic stories along the way and educated us on proper ways to safely ascend, descend and cross rivers. She took great care of us making sure we were all prepared for each day and made great meals that were satisfying, healthy and delicious. Pora was a terrific guide and all her groups are sure to have a fantastic adventure. Excellent! The trail is spectacular and the experience was top-notch. With 57hours it was easy to navigate a complex trip plan. I have to admit, my travel partner made all the arrangements.

I just returned from my 6 day hut-to-hut hike through the amazing Laugavegur Trail with 57Hours guide, Jonas. It was an epic journey. I was traveling solo, so was a bit nervous, but my hiking group was full of wonderful people, and I am happy to say that they are now my friends. Booking with 57Hours was easy. They were very informative and when I reached out to them for more information, Luke from 57Hours contacted me right away to give me much helpful information and a list of items needed for the trip. Jonas, our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable about everything Icelandic and he was very fun. He made our daily hikes rich and adventurous! the food provided was simple, but delicious. This was a spectacular trip and my friends and I from the hiking group are already talking about when we will return for another adventure with 57Hours!

Hiking the Laugavegur trail with Norse Adventures was exactly that! An adventure for a group of slightly older than the average on the trail. We hiked, stayed in huts, were fed filling and lovely meals, lots of snacks and the odd box of beer and wine to celebrate those long days on your feet. So so worth it. Magnus and his trusty dog Fenris were master guides and I felt safe at all times particularly when the weather turned on us with Magnus helping anyone that needed it up some steep ascents and descents. It was 55km of long days, up and down hills, river crossings, fun nights and good humor. Magnus is your guide. Just do it!

My husband and I trekked the Haute Route with 8 others. Our guide, Tom was a skilled trekker. He did a great job of navigating a trail to avoid fresh rock slides and wash outs. He was very aware of each individual’s abilities, and focused on assisting/ coaching as we navigated more technical aspects of the Haute Route trek. He was great at ensuring everyone was comfortable- checking in with us daily. Plus he was in contact with the trip organizers and other guides as they shared trail information. So fabulous. And he knew when we were all ready for a little shorter day for a bit more time to relax before dinner. He’s a master of the mountain. The trip was well planned, rigorous and demanding, while so rewarding.. 57hours had good communication with us before the trip and with our guide throughout the journey. They were responsive to questions. A key asset was the Trips app which summarizes the daily itinerary. This was a winning experience all around! I will do another trip with his group!

Monica, our guide, was just amazing! Highly knowledgeable, friendly and keen to share her love of Iceland. A pleasure to travel with! The scenery was amazing as was the route used - you do get off the busy trails (but you’re never really isolated in truth) seeing far more than if you only did the Laugavegur trail. The small huts in the remote areas were great, but some of the larger busy huts were overcrowded and not so great. The large hut at the end was very good.

It was an amazing experience with Emma and Tina-local guide. We got all required updates and support in a timely manner. Accommodations and food provided were excellent. The TMB hike was beautiful all the way. Thank you 57Hours.

Our guide Steph made all the difference on the Laugavegur trail in Iceland - reassuring, knowledgeable and fun. Stunning scenery and variety of terrain so I was very happy to have had such a capable guide. The trail is a real challenge- I was glad to be fit and well equipped as per the packing list. We were very fortunate with the weather. I traveled solo in a 14 person female group who quickly bonded and were mutually supportive despite a wide range of abilities and ages from 15-68!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and supportive and (as one of the slower ones) very patient. Great cook as well! We experienced all weather conditions including a sand storm! It was challenging, fun, and breathtaking. I’m so glad I did it.

Raggie did an excellent job! He was knowledgeable, personable and friendly. He kept everyone safe and kept the group together. We had an amazing time hiking. The scenery was beautiful and we even had some sun! The 57 Hours experience was well organized, food was delicious, and the guide was excellent. We would definitely do another hike elsewhere.

We had a fabulous time on our Iceland trek with 57 Hours and Viking Women. From booking the trip to doing it was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. 57 hours were very responsive and knowledgable.

Our guide Thelma from Viking Women was simply superb. She confidently guided us through Iceland, made sure we were fed well and ensured our comfort and safety during our fabulous adventure. I highly recommend it. Excellent. Memories made forever.

Thora was a knowledgeable guide to all the geologic wonders along the Laugavegur Trail, intuitive to when we needed a breather after a tough patch, excellent cook (that roasted lamb was the best!) and an all over nice person. We were so lucky she was our guide! The 4 day Lagavegur was awesome and breathtaking, just hard enough. The 5th day over the cat spine and up to Magni was indescribable in beauty! That was nearly 16 miles and some tricky parts but really fun. The last 1/2 day hike was a nice finale up to a lookout point. 57hours is a good company to work with.

Amazing experience! Our Iceland Ancient trail trekking trip was well organized by 57hours and Norse Adventures. 57hours was responsive in all our planning steps, Norse Adventures filled us with a great and memorable experience, fun-filled and knowledgeable guides, never lose a step in the wilderness… like the movie… I am saying “I will be back, Iceland!”

My guide was the most amazing person I've ever met in a long time. That man was up every morning cooking breakfast with a smile on his face. He was perfect for this, he seriously loves his job and loves what he does. You could tell just by the look on his face every time. He didn\'t miss a beat at all. He made this trip so enjoyable and worry free with everything he did. Even just communicating with him was amazing before I even met him. Anytime I had a question he was there to answer it. He did phone calls and he did webinars, I was so nervous and worried going into this trip as this was my first backpacking experience ever. Even climbing Half Dome the trip we did was just amazing with him, his communication skills are top notch that is he is perfect for this. I would definitely book with Jesse again. He was truly amazing!!! I can\'t wait to book my next trip with him after this, he is now considered a close friend ! I could seriously go on and on and on about Jesse and his skills out in the wilderness and just the way he handles everything. He literally took care of everything breakfast lunch dinner trail map camping everything. All the snacks he provided he made sure we did not go hungry that's for sure let alone all the electrolytes everything he provided was perfect he knows his stuff! Thank you again Jesse and thank you 57 hours for this great experience that I had I can\'t wait to book my next trip! This seriously was an amazing learning experience for me and I plan to be backpacking more and more after this! Best adventure of my life was my first time ever backpacking and I am so glad I did this!

We had an amazing vacation in Iceland thanks to 57hours. The hut to hut trail was rustic and amazing. Everyday was an adventure and the scenic view of the glacier and volcanic landscape was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Pora was an awesome guide! So organized and knowledgeable! The trip of a lifetime! The hiking each day was different but spectacular. Not as difficult as I feared. The food was delicious and the accommodations comfortable considering the remoteness. Highly recommend this trip with this company. You will always remember this spectacular adventure! Pure happiness every day!

What a fantastic trip this was. The hiking was fantastic!! Great guides , routes and information!! The villa we called home for a week had all the comforts of home!! Having a pool at the end of the day with an amazing view and a cold beer just put the cherry on top of a Fabius time !! Our hosts at the ville were just so genuinely fantastic. Took very good care of all our needs and the food. Fantastic!! Thanks for all the special memories you helped us create !!!

We had an amazing trip with Island Hopping (booked through 57 Hours) on the Dalmatia Highlights Plus tour. E-biking Croatia was a great way to experience the beauty of this country, and the Island Hopping guides were exceptional! They were so knowledgeable about Croatia and created a fun and safe bike trip for us. We loved our daily bike rides and the much needed swim breaks in beautiful waters. The accommodations were also exceptional on board the Harmonia, and we were particularly pleased with the dietary accommodations made for my wife who is vegan. She never had to worry about whether her food was correct, and her meals were nutritious and delicious. Overall, this was a great way to see Croatia and a good value, too!

Magnus (Norse Adventures) was terrific! Had everything planned and organized, shared a lot of history and stories, cooked delicious traditional meals, and ensured everyone in the group had a great time and was safe! I would give 10 stars if available. The Ancient hut to hut trail was epic. We experienced glaciers, natural hot springs, geysers, mountains, snow, amazing views and incredible hiking. It was great to stay in the historic huts. 57hours had good booking experience and description of the hike.
