Founded in 2017 by Natalie Wales, an airline cabin crew member with over 20 years of experience handling real-life emergencies at 35,000 feet, 1st Steps First Aid was born out of a passion for helping others feel prepared and empowered. Natalie’s calm, confident approach and deep understanding of safety protocols bring a unique energy to every course, making training not only effective but genuinely enjoyable. Today, we proudly deliver first aid training across schools, nurseries, families, and professional sectors, helping thousands take their first step toward saving lives.

Natalie, a great first aid trainer
Natalie put me at ease as soon as I walked through the training room door. She is very good at reading people and getting the best out of them. An answer was never wrong, Natalie made you look at it differently and come up with the right answer.

The whole experience was so enjoyable…
The whole experience was so enjoyable relaxing eye opening and informative . I am always nervous at the thought of doing courses but was made to feel relaxed straight away . I couldn’t recommend this course any more than I already do .

This is one of best if not the best…
This is one of best if not the best paediatric first aid course I’ve ever been on. The course goes into every detail of paediatric first aid. The practical side is very effective and useful. The presentation of the speaking side is extremely engaging and also extremely useful. Will be using the same company again when it needs renewing!

If there was a days in which the saying "time flies when having fun" proved true, then the day of my practical training with 1st Steps First Aid counts as one of those. The knowledge I got and the way it was given was absolutely amazing. The material used for demonstrations was on point. The environment and set up was so conducive for adult learning
