Contrary to most of what you'll find here, I had a really good experience with 18montrose on the whole. did get a bit worried after a purchase, coming here and seeing all the horror stories. now it is true that I didnt receive an order confirmation email, which is what made me look for reviews, so i was obviously anxious at that point. But this fear was soon assuaged, as I got a dpd email the next day, and it arrived the day after that, way quicker than the predicted 3-7 days of standard delivery.
Now one thing I will say is that the box arrived extremely damaged and was packaged in a thin bag.. but here's my theory on that- 18montrose is actually somewhat an outlet store for flannels, cruise etc. so its likely the discounts are because things are end of line or returns due to minor cosmetic damage like this.
Over all, a very good experience, got some shoes I'd never have paid full price for for a great deal, and the shipping was very quick. I will say, please 18montrose: start sending out order confirmation emails, it will make a lot of customers a lot less nervous :)

I ordered. Paid. Got a confirmation immediately. Was updated every step and my order was delivered within 5 days. Absolutely no issues whatsoever.

Very pleased with my purchase.I placed 2 orders with 18montrose. I was a bit sceptical before ordering from a website I didn’t know anything about. First order arrived next day, although I paid for standard delivery. Second order I placed late afternoon and it arrived in 2 days. I had confirmation emails when I placed the orders and notification once the orders were dispatched. Best quality products, I bought 1 leather and 1 suede Adidas shoes.

Not too sure why so many people have had bad experiences with 18montrose but my first experience has been great. When I first tried to place my order, they wouldn’t accept mt debit card, so I instead used PayPal (which was fine as it gave me reassurance). When I placed my order, I got no email confirmation, like most people (by the seems of it). I then went on TrustPilot to see the reviews (which I probably should’ve done before hand), and I was worried. To see 18montrose had 100s of reviews with an average review rating of 2.5 was filled me with no hope at all. However, the next day I went to track my order on my 18montrose account and it said “Ready to ship”. Therefore, I thought i’d email 18montrose for an email confirmation and a tracking number for my order. No word of a lie, 1 minute after I sent that email, an email confirmation and a tracking number arrived in my inbox coincidentally. So, I thought nothing of that and then this morning (as I’m writing this), I got an email from DPD about my parcel being delivered within a certain hour timeslot today. I was shocked as I didn’t expect delivery to be this fast. And then it arrived at around 12:30PM. I could not be happier with what I ordered, and thankfully; the item checks out to be legit aswell. I could not recommend 18montrose more and I will be using this website to buy things again! 5 stars!

I placed an order online, via Montrose 18's website the other day for a CP Company jumper. The money has been taken from my account (I have proof of payment) yet I have received no email confirmation or order number. I have emailed customer services and received no response, the online chat is shocking as the service options are limited and there is no way to call in and speak to a customer services advisor? What am I supposed to do?
Dealing with online stores these days is usually pretty simple but Montrose 18 are not. How do I either get my money back or at least receive my order?

Just received my order via dpd £31 delivered for some adidas oznovas, what a bargain. Laces that they come with are a bit bright but they also sent 5 other sets in different colours.
As with other people a bit put off ordering as not used 18montrose before but no problems whatsoever.

Ordered a substantial amount in a sale they had on.. "Delivered" by DPD to my trustworthy neighbour, who wasn't at home when they say delivery happened. Couldn't provide any proof bar a pic of the house took from the street. Name signed was fake too. The guess is dpd left my items lying outside and they were stolen, or dpd driver took. Raised issue multiple times with montrose who would not do one thing to assist as they say Dpds proof of delivery is more than enough for them. Even when there's no proof the parcel was even left anywhere by the driver.

Montrose even suggested calling the police on my neighbour or taking them to civil court when they were totally innocent.

Absolutely rubbish company and customer service skills.

Had to leave a review as I was nearly put off ordering due to all these negative reviews. I ordered my trainers on Monday, just received them today (Wednesday) and I couldn’t be happier! I saw some reviews saying that they didn’t receive a confirmation email after ordering, this was not the case for me, it went into my junk folder so make sure you check that! Will definitely be ordering again!

Yes I had read the reviews which intially prevented me ordering for a couple of months but with the extra promotion discount i decided to place a order, as people have commented you do not receive a order confirmation but receive courier email confirming on route, due to feedback I paid for next day delivery, they arrived next day and as expected therefore 5 stars felt I. needed to share my experience to help others

Great product at a excellent price, delivery earlier than expected

I’ve ordered trainers four or five times from 18montrose and never had any issues.
Great price, good delivery, and overall excellent service.
I’m not sure why all these negative reviews but I’m certainly a happy customer who will definitely return for future purchases

Ordered some Adidas trainers then read reviews , thought I’d made a big mistake with all the negative reviews. But received trainers after 2 days well informed about delivery status excellent service 👍

I recently had an unfortunate experience with 18montrose.com, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment here on Trustpilot.

I ordered a pair of shoes, and when the package arrived, I was shocked to see the state of the shoe box. It was severely damaged, with visible signs of crushing and tearing. This is far from the level of quality and care I expected from a reputable brand like 18montrose.

In my opinion, maintaining the quality and presentation of products during delivery is paramount. It's disheartening to receive an item in such a sorry state. I strongly urge 18montrose to consider double boxing fragile or easily damaged items like shoes to prevent such incidents in the future.

Additionally, I reached out to their customer support and requested a refund for my order due to the damaged packaging. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it's essential for a company to address such issues promptly and professionally. I am still waiting for a resolution to this matter.

I sincerely hope that 18montrose takes customer feedback seriously and takes steps to improve their packaging and customer service. As a loyal customer, I expected a better experience. My intention in sharing this review is not to harm their reputation but to highlight areas that need improvement and to prevent other customers from facing similar disappointments.

I look forward to a resolution to my issue and hope that 18montrose will make the necessary improvements to prevent such incidents in the future.

Sending back shoes which had broken, initially I had a conversation with a customer service member who explained I would need to pay to send them back as they broke outside the window which I could return them w/ no fee - I thought fine, whatever, I want an easy life and the hassle of dealing with a new member of staff with EACH EMAIL I sent was driving me insane. I was having to explain my situation each reply whilst being patronised for not having an order number which they never even sent.

Took the shoes to a cobbler who explained they're broken irreparably and so 18montrose finally sent a courier to collect them after about 20 emails (of which Bethan was very nice + helpful tbh).

I waited over 2 weeks as I was told this is how long the process may take and as of emailing today to ask where the shoes / refund was I am met with a completely new member of the customer service team so I have to explain everything from the start again. This is either what they want (me to get bored and just give up asking for my money back) or it is an experiment as to how to gaslight someone into oblivion, either way I'm so done.

Choose an alternative than these lot.

I also didn't receive the order confirmation, and I feared I might have fallen into a trap, especially after reading the reviews here. However, the item was delivered quickly without any issues. If I received the confirmation, I'd rate it with 4 stars!

Great prices. Got a bit spooked by lack of confirmation email/invoice.
Order turned up in 2 days even with standard delivery.
For the consumer I'd advise to take a screenshot on purchase for order number reference.
For the seller, a little confirmation goes a long way to reassure your customers.

I was terrified by these negative opinions, but I took the risk and ordered the trainers yesterday, 20 minutes ago DPD delivered the package. everything went smoothly and without any stress, I hope that my future purchases at 18Montrose will also be stress-free thanks

Dont believe the bad reviews!! I ordered a jacket on the sunday and the delivery was 3-5 days, but it was delivered next day! Excellent service!

Bought the last pair in stock of Yeezy 500 on a Friday night and they were quick to ship it the next Sunday/Monday (even though it was a Bank Holiday in the UK).
At first I ordered without reading the bad reviews and got worried but there weren’t any problems with my order, they were quick and emails were on point.
I’m giving them 4 stars out of 5 just because the packaging could be improved, using a plastic bag for items worth hundreds of € is a bit cheap if I may!

I was dubious about ordering from this company after reading the reviews, but thought I would take a chance in light of the great discounts they offer. I am very pleased to say I received 2 pair of Nike trainers and a pair of Wolf Tree joggers on 2 separate orders. The first order arrived the next day and the 2nd order the following day. I am delighted with my purchases and extra quick delivery. I will definitely be using this company again
