Super time at Long Beach, Camber Sands. The static caravan was immaculate, spacious but cosy as the same time. All communication was smooth and there were no hitches at all. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it.

Key-Workers, having worked intensely throughout the pandemic giving 100% support we were expecting a relaxing, clean and safe environment for our short one night stay at New Beach Holiday Park. On arrival, no hot water, no gas boiler instructions and the kitchen sink was totally blocked. We phoned/reported this to the Park Warden but nothing happened. Having spent some hours waiting for a visit or call-back we then phoned the support number and spoke to a staff member who informed us that it was Saturday and there was no support OR no call later to ask if we were ok.
We spent many hours of our short stay
waiting for support as the gas boiler was an issue!
We are extremely angry and disappointed about the lack of care and support - during the pandemic these are basic guidelines of safety and hygiene. Having to boil a kettle to wash dishes and have a personal wash in the bathroom sink is not acceptable.
We paid £197.00 for 18 hours in an unsafe caravan and request compensation
You have failed in the basics of Health, Safety & Hygiene to your visitors.
We have sent a similar report to Penny but await a reply.

Lovely clean accomodation in a perfect spot.

Caravan was clean and well equipped, 1066 holidays were very helpful in the run up to our break. We had a fantastic last minute weekend break, thank you

Super clean and tidy and perfect caravan. Spotless everywhere, super linen and just perfect for our short break away! Communication throughout was great too and key collection and was a lovely location perfect for beach, shop, pub, walk, clubhouse, pool. 10/10

Just had a really lovely weekend break at Camber Sands Holiday Park with my family. The site was clean, spacious with lots of green areas. Lots of activities to do if you wanted we tried crazy golf which was great fun. Best part caravan park was few minutes walk from the beach so ideal for beach lovers.

The Sussex Lodge we stayed in was beautiful! The décor and finishing touches were amazing and of great quality. We were really positively surprised! The lodge is spacious and great for a family of 3/4. It is immaculately clean. In fact it felt like a brand new lodge. Also, the position of the lodge in the Holiday park is great as it is slightly away from the busier side of the park with all kids activities and yet it is closer to the beach. Communication has been great and very easy check in/out. The option of later check in/out was also great and highly recommend later check out. Overall we really enjoyed the lodge and the beautiful space allowed for totally relaxing time!!

Booked for a short 2 night break. Very good price and needed to take a small dog.
Caravan (s109 at camber) was a little tired and in need of some minor repairs(net curtains had holes, cooker seen better days, a small rip in the base of the sofa at floor level) . Smelt a bit of some sort of spices but clean inside. Outside consistent with 'tiredness'.

Site was very open and a typical 'stack the high and pile them deep seadide site. Served it's purpose.
1066 were very efficient and helpful.

Overall value for money excellent. If you're looking for a plush caravan then this one may not be for you.

Also the mattresses on the beds were terrible, could feel the coil springs. Need replacing.

Would I use 1066 again, yes.
Would I stay in s109 again, no

We booked 3 nights and stayed at Braeside 5 in Beauport Holiday Park near St Leonard’s on Sea 17-20 June 2021. On arrival at our accommodation we found it to be clean and tidy with sufficient outside parking for two cars. A welcome box inside the accommodation containing tea bags, sugar/coffee sachets and a small tube of washing up liquid and shower gel was a nice touch. Minor niggles were few but we felt that there should have been waste bin bags in situ and were not, plus the fact that there didn’t appear to be any recycle bins on site (?) though there were numerous easily located waste bins around the site. Whilst there was an online site map provided we felt it would have been useful for a *site map to be left in the accommodation together with a local tourist information/thing’s to do file inside the accommodation. (*This is a large site with a lot’s of twists and turns through one way roads which proved challenging to navigate each time we returned to our accommodation from our trips around the area and when visited by members of our family)

I thought it smelt of smoke. Sofa could do with updating but nice and clean in the bathroom and bedroom. Comfortable bed and nice outside space for the dog. Would stay again!

Really nice place. It’s perfect for families for relax. It’s only 20 mins away from Hastings.
The caravan is not too big but enough for everything.

I went to the Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park with some friends, and I highly recommend this place. The staff were super helpful, courteous and friendly. The caravan was cosy, cleaned and spacious.

Great location too! The caravan park is surrounded by stunning countryside views and located near the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands, and the popular sandy beach of Camber Sands, easy to reach by bus, car or taxi.

It is the perfect weekend if you want to wind down and visit various interesting places.

A very lovely Caravan on a beautiful site.
We will definitely be looking to book again in the future.
The hosts were also great with their communication with us.
A lovely break for me & my family.

Stayed at Beauport Holiday Park during May half term 2021 in a beautiful lodge fully fitted with all modern amenities high class finish, we fully enjoyed our stay and are looking at rebooking for August 2021

Fabulous time with 1066 holidays, caravan was beautiful and clean and the site was beautiful!
