AVOID. Doubles booked our stay. Given key and arrived at accommodation with another family in there. I was left with my 3 week old baby at night and the company refused to find alternate accommodation. Booking.com were also poor and didn’t get back to me for nearly 3 hrs. I had to find somewhere else to stay. Booking.com did refund me however. 1066 have since embarrassingly tried to blag and say they’d tried to find alternate accommodation then lie about trying to call me. I was so upset and especially in the manner the company literary washed their hands of their responsibility. Nothing even in the follow up. AVOID.

Very close to the lake and best place to relax. Owner is very good in communication providing all the information you need.

Though it seems a bit late to write a review but I must admit the memory still new everyday. I have a holiday in Coghurst Hall which I could have stayed with my daughter and my grandkids for the duration of their holiday but some of the dates were already booked by someone else and had to book another holiday home which was the Grove at Beauport from 28th-4th Sept 21. I must admit the place was spotless and very spacious. 1066 was very understanding and allowed us to go to Bueauport earlier for the sake of kids which I found incredible. Though we did get lost several times to find the place, but the place was beyond our expectations.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay but in terms of entertainment especially for the kids Coghurst was the best. I wish there could be a lot more of children`s entertainment so that we did not need not need to be going back to Coghurst Hall especially in the evenings before children go to bed.

New, clean and well decorated caravan. By only having 2 bedrooms the master bedroom was very large for a caravan and had a kingsize bed which was very welcome. The only drawback was the very cheap tv which seemed to make everything green! Probably would not have noticed but we spent more time in the caravan than normal due to the inclement weather. Overall it was a very comfortable stay

Lovely location but was tainted by issues. No water on last day but was told to use park showers instead, this doesn’t solve the problem with no drinking water. When issue was reported I was told that I would get a call back 5 minutes later. This did not happen so I had to call back 55 minutes later. Property was dusty/dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There was a dirty mop head at entrance. Was a nice property but I would advise to find another to save hassle if there is any issues

Awful experience.

Staff just don’t care and are no help at all. Revived a phone call on the day of our caravan holiday saying we had been moved 2.5 hour walk away from our booking. We wanted a family/ entertainment venue to keep all family and friends happy and we’re moved to a retirement complex at value £180. We paid £330 and offered no price difference nor refund for awful last min change.

Still waiting for a call back 5 days later. DEBBIE is an awful manager and her way of dealing with these situations is to simply ignore them. Don’t book with 1066 holidays. Our holiday was well and truly ruined.

Another fantastic stay! Already booked our return for January 2022. Fabulous service, easy booking, accommodation visually clean on arrival. Highly recommended for long or short stays!

Awful company to deal with. Caravan had bbq outside with mouldy food, hole in bedroom door, 1 pillow on double bed, broken lamps, lights not working in twin room, handle fell off in double bedroom, advert fails to state that caravan is practically right on very busy main road, and only 1 very tiny baking tray for 7 guests to cook with!
Had issue with booking prior to arrival, sent 4 emails, called and left voicemails - all ignored. Advertisement states on air bnb from 1066 holidays to contact them if you have issues but they don't respond (not until you're way into your break so at that point they can't assist!)
Usually I leave positive reviews as I don't like to be negative but worse customer service and horrible caravan - one to avoid for sure!

Following on from 1066 Holidays reply below - I would like to add that I do have photographs to show the caravan with these faults - I am happy to forward these as the response from 1066 is completely inaccurate.

We turned up to the accommodation at Beauport holiday park which was dirty and mouldy. I told them immediately I wasn’t going to stay in the accommodation as the cleaning was not to standard especially due to covid and was unfit for us and our 2 year old daughter. They asked us to go through the Airbnb complaints procedure and then heard nothing so no refund as yet and missed the deadline.

If I could rate this company with a minus I would, we stayed at Beauport, which is a bit like Gods waiting room, nice setting but that is about all. Our caravan was absolutley filthy, mould on the walls, bathroom shower all mouldy, kitchen bin still had food in it, last occupants towels left in the cupboards, front door of caravan was covered in child's sticky fingerprints. I made 12 phone calls to 1066 holidays and not one of them was answered, 2 emails showing photos, no reply. I went through booking.com in the end, they did eventually send a lady with a toddler in tow to collect towels. I asked her if she was going to clean and she said no, I'm only collecting towels as not being paid!!! This company is a shambles, when I finally got a response on the 4 day they said they would review their cleaning regime!! seriously, in the times we are living in, your cleaning should be the best it has ever been, not the worst.
I would never book a stay with company again you are a disgrace.

We stayed the weekend at Camber Sands, the caravan was absolutely beautiful, clean beyond belief and open. Thank you for the hassle free stay! We will be back very soon.

I wouldn’t give any stars but zero isn’t an option
Cancelled my booking less than 24 hours prior to my stay stating an apparent leak at the property and offering me a much lower spec accommodation with a slight refund to reflect this.
Spent most of the day I was due to stay chasing them to sort out and finally getting access very late in the day.
The caravan smelt musty like it had been left empty for a long time.
No refund of the difference has been given which doesn’t surprise me with the attitude of the satay I dealt with.
I will certainly be looking to avoid booing through this company in the future.

Would recommend and use again.

Tiny, very uncomfortable beds, beds far too small, very noisy neighbours, didn’t sleep a wink! No bins, no soap, one toilet roll for 2 bathrooms. For what we paid an absolute rip off!

The caravan was lovely, clean and had all you need, and it's situated next to the playground and entertainment bar which is a perk for families! Will definitely book again with 1066holidays as they are reliable, honest and always there to answer any questions you might have!

Caravan was lovely we have used it before clean on arrival
TV wasn’t working so elderly lady couldn’t sit and watch it, also shower was dripping and very difficult to turn off
I reported both things , tv guy came next day couldn’t fix it shower nobody showed up
Camp entertainment was great staff friendly also.
