Been using 1024 Proxy residential proxy for the last couple of days mainly for scraping and browser profile management. I was thinking they would do well at first as their proxy pool and feature list seemed nice. Well, actually, mine wasn’t so great. I checked over 100 proxy IPs individually using IPQS and the vast majority of their IPs are flagged as fraud risk or lower quality. I was disappointed to see that even a couple IPv6 proxies were dirty. Many IPs were getting blocked very quickly when using it for automation or scraping related tasks.

Another thing was that my usable proxy ratio was too low for me. While many IPs are technically connections, I couldn't achieve stable performance on real tasks. After a few minutes of good work several of the proxies are limited or get a low trust score.Although I purchased 28GB of traffic, I don't think I received the whole amount. I find it unsatisfactory for my workflow, even though it might function perfectly in some use scenarios. Improvements to IP quality and filtering will be beneficial in the future. You should consider it before using it; try it out before spending money. If you believe it's good, then go ahead and buy it, but like me, I'm sure you'll be let down. I made the mistake of squandering a lot of money prior to any testing.

I was guided by 1024Proxy to purchase a proxy service, but the actual experience did not match what was implied.

A key detail — that ASN selection is not guaranteed — was not clearly disclosed during the recommendation process. In reality, the allocation can be random, which led to a mismatch between expectation and actual service.

When I raised the issue, support did not provide any effective help, and the responses felt dismissive and unprofessional.

As a recommendation platform, there should be more transparency and responsibility when guiding users to purchase services.
