after update you can't do anything with it anymore..the forced buy this shit for 19dollar makes no sense to me...they where better wen they still had it for free use...

I'm a paying subscriber and this service is full of bugs and issues. When I reach out for help or solutions, I either get vague responses or no real assistance at all. Despite being a subscriber, I feel completely ignored. Nothing gets fixed, and support doesn't seem to care. This feels like a scam — they take your money but don’t deliver a working product or proper support. Very disappointing experience.

The software is quite good, it does the job to play music, but the 2025 version is full of bugs, especially in the browser and sampler areas.

It is one thing to have bugs, as a developer I understand. What I really hate about VDJ is the absolutely pathetic tech support.

Firstly they combine several different issues into a single ticket, totally the opposite of how to do support properly - each issue needs it's own ticket to keep track properly and not get confusing.

But that becomes irrelevant because they don't answer questions or bug reports properly and then they ignore you if you keep pushing for an answer.

It is a terrible way to treat customers who have paid a lot of money for a product.

I would advise buying other DJ software for this reason alone.

WOW. I see a lot of bad reviews. My experience with VirtualDJ has been great. I am not a DJ. I first tried Serato and it was cool. Then I found out about VirtualDJ and I feel in love. This was the free version. So I quickly brought the paid version (license). I don't use it as intended (NOT A DJ) but I will not use anything else. I have never had any problems with it. Well, it sometimes double up some of my BPMs. If you're buying your licenses from EBAY, that maybe where your problem is.

They advertised with all features after paying 23$ but then you literally cant even listen to any song for longer than 30 seconds if you didnt purchase something for 11$.

Scam

I paid for VirtualDJ and was advised I would be emailed a password. It never came and their 'forgot password' option didn't work. I contacted support who initially were responsive but gave unhelpful advice. Now they are ignoring my messages. This has cost me time and money and I'm extremely disappointed. It looks like I will have to issue a chargeback through my bank.

I'm disappointed by this product, I paid for the professional version and there is now months - not weeks !! - I try to get support and nothing serious is being done on their side. Promises but nothing real. Time to change for another truely professional software as Traktor or Serato

Echt en Baggerbedrijf waar ik al ruim 5 jaar ellende mee heb. Support medewerkers zijn zeer onfatsoenlijk. Als je een vraag stelt duurt het erg lang voordat je antwoord krijgt. Dus je probeert te vragen een aantal keren in 3 maanden tijd. Is er eindelijk eens een reactie en dan blijkt het nog een geïrriteerde te zijn ook. Ik zou allerlei nieuwe tickets aangemaakt hebben zonder dat ik het weet omdat ik boven een aangegeven lijn had moeten reageren wat ik naar mijn idee ook gedaan had. Uit fatsoen heb ik mijn excuses aangeboden dat dat niet de bedoeling was en onbewust is gegaan. Ik had helaas nog geen antwoord op mijn vraag. Uiteindelijk vroeg ik het nog maar eens, maar ik kreeg vervolgens nooit meer een antwoord. Uiteindelijk moest ik deze software aanschaffen vanwege professioneel gebruik dus ik moest mijn licentie inruilen. Dus had ik weer om informatie gevraagd via de sales afdeling. Maar ook hier bleef het antwoord in gebreken. Uiteindelijk gevraagd hoe ik een klacht kon indienen, ook hier bleef wederom het antwoord in gebreken. En dan zou je zeggen, dan stap je toch over van software. Nou Helaas is dat niet zo makkelijk als dat het klinkt, want als je al 18 jaar met dezelfde software werkt, is overstappen best moeilijk. En zeker als je 18 jaar voorbereidend werk kwijtraakt. Want die database is niet ergens anders te importeren. Dus het is net een huwelijk waar je niet onderuit komt, want anders word ik flink genaaid.

Je l'utilise depuis plusieurs années et il s'améliore avec le temps.
Je le trouve assez intuitif surtout quand on doit trouver par nous même.

Really disappointed I paid to get licence for the free music download 10.99 money was taken from account and nothing ive written a number of times no refund and unable to cancel subcription so was forced to contact my bank and cancel my credit card! it has been a complete nightmare and run around NoFun at All!! don,t bother its been a waste of time and have had to resort to this so it dosnt happen to anyone else...thebeatpolice com how wondering why the famous djs give such good reviews starting to belive its all fake..still not working no music told was a typo on my email and in their wisdom added a false email to my account that i cant access..it just gets worse..and no refund or music to be found what a waste of time for everyone and my money was basically lost in the process..never offered a refund or extended play its been a month now..lucky I cancelled my card as they would still be charging me..

I started out as a broadcast online radio DJ, and the usual choices were SAM Broadcaster for stability, and MIXXX (open-source) for cost. Both have their strengths and are very good at what they do. What they "don't" have is anywhere-near the feature-set that Virtual DJ offers. I use VDJ Professional 2023, and the new improved "Stems" feature is very nice. I can do editing of tracks (music, video, DJ drops, announcements) directly from within the program, as well as adding and editing of samples and sample-loops, without having to open and use my DAW. The biggest features are 1) the video integration and templates, which eliminates the need for OBS or Streamlabs, 2) the DMX/OS2 integration with lights and lighting software, 3) the ability to port in my .VST programs (instrument sounds, audio-effect processing) into VDJ to use, and 4) their expanded music-streaming-service intergration built into the software. I personally use TIDAL for this, and as far as I know, VDJ is the only DJ software to provide TIDAL integration. Overall, I am very pleased with the sound quality, and it seems I have only scratched the surface with my use of the features in this software.

ein grausamer support, warte nun 5 tage auf eine antwort, habt ihr die falsche lizenz gekauft? geld gibts aber nicht wieder, eher wird versucht mit allen Mitteln euch auf die nächst Teurere version zu drängen, unhöflicher support und allgemein recht instabiles Tool leider

The actual dj software is very good, however I pay monthly to stream virtual dj songs and for some reason virtual dj has taken off songs I use to have on my old laptop, I.e Chris brown's loyal. Basically I brought a new laptop unable to transfer my music because of issues with my old hard drive. Since installing virtual dj Pro on my new laptop alot of songs I was able to find through the iDJ pool, no longer are available, this is basically ripping customers off. Been paying £20.00 a month to use the pro license so that I can use my roland dj808 controller for a very long time now to the point the amount has gone past £300, the amount where if you pay a one off you can use the pro license all the time. The monthly payments should stop once the amount paid is £300 or at the very least with some interest as I'm not djing all the time, I shouldn't have to pay £20.00 a month just to use all features at home.

Awesome software without a doubt the best on the market by far. Easy to use, fully customisable, intuitive. Great customer support and regular updates to stay ahead of the market
