When looking for Fitness equipment they have so many options. You have almost 2/3 options to choose from. Commercial or Residential they have both. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for anything Fitness related

I have nothing but great things to say about The Treadmill Factory. As a long time customer, the products, prices and excellent service keep me coming back every time! Most recently I added an Ironax All-in-One and could not be more pleased with the options and value. I will be back again when my wallet permits!

I recently went into the Markham location, was greeted promptly and was guided into getting the right treadmill for my family and I. They weren't pushy and it was a wonderful shopping experience. I would highly recommend the Treadmill Factory for all your fitness equipment needs.

This company has been around since 1988 and distributes most of the major brands in Canada. Some of the prices look too good to be true but its legitimate.

The Tread Mill Factory is a joke.
They sold me a set of hex dumbbells that were not only short on weight, but the individual dumbbells were a different weight entirely.
I bought two 35lbs - one weighed 34lbs and the other weighed 33.2lbs.
First I emailed them to see how we could resolve the issue, then I called and both times they quoted "Please note that dumbbells have a standard manufacturing tolerance, which can result in a slight weight variation of up to 1-2 lbs from the listed weight." and this is why they're on clearance.
NOWHERE on their website is this disclaimed and I think it's bogus that any company would be allowed to hide behind such non-sense.
They then told that "Normally dumbbells are final sale, but given the situation, we can authorize a return if you choose to ship it back" but they would make an exception given the circumstance, however I would have to pay return shipping. I asked to speak with a supervisor during my call and they were "conveniently" busy and would "call me back".
I won't hold my breath.

So, not only would I be out additional money, but I would have no product to show for it.

How is a company allowed to operate like this? How can I be incentivized to buy Canadian under such garbage policies?

I have been using element resistant bands from treadmill factory for years and just received my latest order. The bands are generally a reasonable price but the delivery is ridiculously high compared to other online stores. I decided to order the bands anyway just because I'm vey familiar with these ones and usually know what I'm going to receive. I say usually because this time the bands have around half the strength of the prior ones. I buy quite a few at a time to save on delivery charges but unfortunately have a whole bunch of useless weak bands that cost me too much int the first place. This isn't the only issue I've experienced with this company. I also bought a spin bike at The treadmill Factory that we really liked but after only a few years it started to make some noise. It was after the warranty period so we agreed to pay to get it serviced. Unfortunately when we got the bike back there were still issues with it. We brought it back and they charged us again to do more work on the bike and still there were problems when we got it back. This last episode is the last straw and we won't be going back again!

The Treadmill Factory has consistently provided excellent customer service as well as products that they stand by! We have been purchasing through them for many years and have always been so pleased with the staff, service and quality! Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with the customer service.

I visited the store on Saturday after receiving a confirmation email and even rented a U-Haul for $150 just to pick up a treadmill (Horizon T101). When I arrived, I was told the model couldn’t be accessed because they had just received a shipment and the place was too messy. I was then offered the Horizon 7.0 for $1500—way out of my budget. But since I’d already spent on the U-Haul, I had no choice but to buy it.

I also wanted to buy the Carbon CX bike that was mentioned in the email, but I was told it was on a top shelf and they couldn’t bring it down. On top of that, the black one wasn’t available, and I’d have to wait a week for the white-seated version. Same story with the XVR pull-up bar—"not accessible due to shipment.” Only after insisting did someone even check again.

This is not the first time I've had a frustrating experience. I ordered a treadmill online in January, waited weeks, and was then told to pay an extra $100 or cancel. I canceled. Later, another online order was dragged out with unclear pricing and shipping costs ($300–$700!) before being passed from one rep to another.

The only positive thing I can say is that the product is good. But the service is consistently terrible. I shouldn’t have to beg a store to sell me something that’s in stock. I won’t be shopping here again.

Trying to buy from a company in Canada, we ordered two sets of weights (ankle and wrist) online, paid for shipping, and one set of them arrived dirty and looked very used. The wrist weights were not made correctly as they were extremely tight and not adjustable. I have tiny women’s wrists and they were squeezing so tight they cut off my circulation. We did not use the items of course. We first took the items back to the store located in our city, but they told us they could not help us. So we called online customer service, said there was no refund whatsoever. Then we spoke to a supervisor, who said we would have to pay for the shipping to return them, which would be more than the cost of the weights. So then we emailed the CEO of the company, and there was no answer back. If it was simply a matter that we changed our mind, we would understand their policy, but they sold us faulty products. So needless to say, we are quite upset and would like to tell everybody that they have no ethics. So this is why we turned to Amazon, which we should’ve probably done in the first place.

Absolute garbage treatment of customers. Seriously, I am appalled at how badly this went.

Placed an order of 1100$ on December 23rd. Second week of January, find out that they need another 85 for shipping - fine, I pay it. Two weeks later, I randomly get a second invoice from them for the same amount as I initially paid - after having charged me, but not shipped the items for 4 weeks, the transaction timed out from my Visa. Took a pile of effort to figure out why they were charging me a second time, finally got an answer - paid again. Over a week later, they ship it. Here's where it gets really good.

They ship with fastfrate, and I track it all the way. Fastfrate hands it to another shipper, and I wait for a call to schedule the delivery. Note that Treadmillfactory's shipping policy says ALL PALETIZED shipments will receive a call to book the delivery. I get to my location today, see tire tracks from a full-size delivery truck, but received no call. 30 minutes on the phone with fastfrate to find out that it was handed a week ago to Highway 9 shipping. Found out that they have a transfer station nearby. Call that station, give them all my info, explain that a truck definitely came to the address I specified, but that I didn't receive a call. And... get this...

THERE WAS NO PHONE NUMBER ON THEIR WAYBILL! They called the driver, and passed my number on to him. We'll see if I get a call today or not, but my item is definitely on the truck - the driver just didn't have the ability to contact me.

I paid 600 dollars to have these items shipped! This is the most pathetic online purchase experience I have ever had. If I could go back, I'd pay more money to order from a better retailer than this. I shouldn't have had to spend 2 hours of chasing my shipment.

Between taking 5 weeks to put my 9 items on a pallet (mostly dumbbells) and this absolute joke of a shipping fiasco, I am hugely disappointed.

Don't do what I did - it's not worth saving 2 hundred dollars to get treated like this. Just order from a reputable seller with good reviews.

I contacted the company before placing my order for a $3000+ treadmill to find out what the delivery costs would be (the website says free shipping in certain areas but will contact people living outside those areas within a few days with the delivery costs and you can then cancel your order if you want to). I wanted to avoid giving them my cc info for nothing after reading some poor reviews I so emailed them. Received a reply the following morning from a sketchy email address with random letters ending in country code "io" with the following: "We can only price it out when you place the order. If the price is too high, you can opt of us to not process the order and cancel the transaction without charging your credit card. We are absolutely swamped with the current promotions to be able to request quotes beforehand on orders." Oh, ok. So I chose not to order from them.

Dont buy, dont expect them to set it up either because if you try to schedule multiple times it won't happen. Treadmill purchased for Christmas gift has been sitting since its arrival - went to put it together ourselves and found the parts were broken, wires hanging off the main control board because the brackets holding it on had snapped. now I cannot get ahold of customer service for a resolve. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

We bought a recumbent exercise bike from the Treadmill Factory in August 23. It arrived without the heart monitor working.When I contacted the customer service, it took approximately 2 hours on each call and their response was to send me part to repair the defective monitor. First, I do not have the tools necessary to feed the electronic links through the handles. Secondly, they only sent part of the supplies needed to repair it and they were also defective. After 2-3 attempts to get working parts that were complete (handles with the sensors working), they agreed to send out a repair technician. He inspected the bike, said it was defective and informed the Treadmill factory that it needed parts. However, they would not send the parts to his company and they had to come to us directly. When he came to fix it, the parts were again defective. Next they said the monitor was the problem and replaced it. The heart monitor still did not work. The technician told them that the bike was defective and should be replaced. The Treadmill Factory responded that the bike was functional and the heart monitor was not required. My purpose in purchasing the bike was part of my heart attack recovery program and recommendations of my cardiologist. The heart monitor was absolutely required.
Since this response I have asked for a refund and had no response. They keep telling me to go back through their service department even though they have no intention of replacing the bike or refunding my purchase price. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Review Title: Disappointed with Service and Quality

I recently purchased a treadmill from [Treadmill Factory] online and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. The treadmill arrived with noticeable scratches, which is unacceptable for a new product.

When I reached out to their customer service team, they refused to send someone to inspect or resolve the issue. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, their representative, Eileen, was unprofessional and failed to provide a satisfactory solution.

As a customer who spent a significant amount of money, I expected better service and accountability. I will not be recommending this company to others, and I strongly advise future customers to consider other options to avoid the frustration.

I too had a terrible experience with customer service.
My item arrived heavily damaged with the box in pieces. Danny attempted to dismiss this as "minor scuffs". I had to contact my bank to obtain a refund, and the company then attempted to lie to the credit card company about not permitting refunds - they clearly state on their website that they DO in fact permit refunds.

Complete lack of awareness when dealing with a customer. I ordered an item while Black Friday deals were on and paid for the standard shipping. Weeks later when all other deals were gone they reached out claiming that I needed to pay almost 200 dollars more in shipping because they don’t send to my region (I live in the same province as the store). After speaking with their representative and without so much as a sorry from them, I asked if there was anything that could be done about the situation or if I could have a list of the couriers so I could reach out to others for rates to ship my product for less than 200 dollars extra, all I got in return was dimensions of the products and a very rude, nonchalant attitude which is why I will NEVER shop here again. Hopefully others read this and make a better decision. Danny at the treadmill factory I hope you read this and learn something.
