The CEO and board of non executive directors should all resign out of respect for the victims of this heinous crime committed under their leadership and watch..

But these types of people have absolute no honour or respect, and will always put themselves first above the care of others?.

It’s shocking that the levels of abuse that is allowed to happen in the mental health care system is a catastrophic failure by consecutive governments and the not fit for purpose CQC.

Why isn’t the leaders of these services held accountable and then struck off so they can’t be allowed to cause harm to others in the mental health system or any other institution.

They will most likely get a very handsome pay off and that is yet more disrespect towards the victims of these crimes and serious failures in this arena

St Andrews will physically give your child a brain injury on purpose to have them admitted. Evil evil people.

My partner was sectioned in 2011 he was elderly first he was sent to reaside clinic then luckily through his solicitors he was sent to St Andrews Northampton. It was a beautifull place with big green woodlands where the patients could sit out. In green fiellds also workbridge with its green houses where patients could grow fruit flowers and vegetables really lovely place foster ward he was on. Thecreason i gave 3 syars was lack of toilet facilities in the rooms for some strange reason althoughbhe.d been hyper and got arrested he was sentenced to indefinite section! Which was really unjustified. The staff were very kind and he flourished and got beyter under their care. He also went to o,connell ward sadly he passed away in in june 2024 in Northampton hospital with Parkinsons disease. Having unwisely been transferred to St Matthews down the road by a solicitor who never did his homework! He hated it there and wanted to be transferred back to st Andrews.
The staff have an extremely difficult job in their vocation treating the patients. I feel the biggest empathy and sympathy for them as its an impossible task they go over and beyond for their love and care for the patients. I was told often that some patients never recieved a single visit once from relatives! How dishusting is that!
We loved st Andrews Noryhampton kind caring Doctors social workers nurses and staff. Going above and beyond there duties for their patients. We will never forget st andrews Northampton foster ward and o.connell ward. As we.d never have wanted him to be anywhere else and neither did my partner 😇love to all the staff and patients GOD BLESS YOU ALL GET WELL.❤💥

st andrews hospital benfleet essex benfleet ward where my son was sectioned i cannot express my ongoing concerns with dr korayanke psychiatrist and staff hannah bush who between them have conspired against me because i advocated for my son during his horrendous stay 8months over medicated to his detriment. im now dealing with nhs ward who continue to overmedicate and harm his physical well being... i will be going public over your disgusting treatment of my son and of myself by namely Dr Korayanke Psychiatrist and Hannah Bush nurse.

I first wrote a review 2 years ago, and in that time my son had a relapse, a bad one and got sectioned again. I was informed that he would be going back to Essex 200 miles from our home town. Though this hurt I knew he would be back with his named nurse Jackie, who would kick his ass. Well as I write this today, my son has his own apartment and is in full time employment and going to Portugal next month with his bestie. I will never say this is for ever but thanks to all the staff on Audley ward I have my son back.

Worse brain injury hospital ever! No help, no support and workers can not speak English. Horrible. There not there to help, instead mentally destroy lifes

Extremely unhappy and disgusted with the staff In a supposed caring role. Who clearly do not care !!

I went to the Walkin in St Andrews due to pains in me left chest.
The receptionist went and got a nurse who after explaining the symptomology of what I had, told me to go to my GP as they cannot help me.
I informed her that I could not go to my GP as they opened their Diaries up every Wednesday, and close them until the next Wednesday.
I asked if I could get my heart rate checked & maybe blood pressure at least, but I was told no.
She told me there's nothing more she can do for me.
I could not believe it.
I left frustrated & disheartened.

I then contacted out of hours and they sent me guess where, ...
back to the St Andrew's walkin lol.

Upon arrival I told the nurse who sent me away without checking me, that she was a disgrace.
I eventually saw a doctor who looked like a hippy, who told me my symptoms were not related to a cardiac issue.
However, this doctor did not do any checks.
I asked for a MRI, but this disgrace of a 'doctor'
told me he could do nothing.
He told me I needed to go to my Gp, as only Gp can refer for MRI. I was totally disgusted.
He just like the joke of a nurse before him did zero checks.
No blood pressure, anything.
I could of walked out of there and dropped dead.

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude, lack of interest & there total lack of professionalism with zero care.

The best thing about this place is my daughter is no longer there. Some of the staff are amazing but they are often moved and replaced with tyrants. Whilst a patient here my daughter was attacked on a number of occasions but staff could not care less. She was allowed to self-harm and staff were reluctant to take her to hospital. She was also groomed by a male member of staff. We had to raise these issues as safe guarding ourselves. When she was transferred her hand-over notes labelled her falsely as a bully and arsonist, probably in the hope of delaying her recovery. Fortunately she is doing well and managing to put the horrors of this dismal place behind her.

I used to work here. This place is awful. The management treat the lower staff like rubbish and bully them into leaving their job (I was bullied into leaving). I have worked at numerous care jobs in the past 10 years and this was by far the worst. Staff (apart from me and a minority) genuinely do not care about the patients (it's true). They would often leave them lying in their own filth and allowing them to simply self harm without intervening, even if the patient wasn't very dangerous. This place needs a lot of improvement. My friend is trying to get a job here (much to my disappointment) and they have given her many interviews over the past few years and the recruitment are extremely strict with who they interview (which is a positive I suppose). However, the recruitment managers are just a really small group of women with hardly any care experience at all, be very careful. I worked at this place between 2015 and 2021. My friend has been applying for this place for about two years and knows the recruitment staff well. So we are best placed to give this place an accurate rating. Yeah, the wards were always really dirty for patients and, those on the highest salaries were those who never spent any time on the wards themselves and did all the talking but no action apart from to tell you what to do without even knowing you. This place is the most corrupt organisation I have ever worked for. The HR team are the most nastiest I have ever met, they lie and cheat (I had a few reports made about me from some incompetent colleagues which led to HR getting involved), for example I used to study there and was quite interested in the library whilst I was an employee (access was given to employees as a perk), yet whilst I was wrongly under investigation I had my access revoked and never got my access to the library back. This is one of many, many examples of how idiotic they can be and how they are discriminatory all because I would not suck up to the "workchoice" (bank) manager at the time. I could go on, this place is filth. But my main concern was for patient care, which was totally non-existent and patients would actually be abused and spoken to like rubbish especially by my fellow colleagues on nights. I want to say a lot more but I will leave it there.

I had to have a mental health evaluation for work (British Army) and the so called mental health professional that took my evaluation told me that it would be his recommendation that he feels I’m fit to continue work and that is what he will be reporting back to the Army’s occupational health team after a 1 hour meeting over zoom.

One month later I received a letter from the team at the Army’s Occupational health saying that I’m going to be discharged from the Army as the Doctors recommendation is that I’m mentally unfit to continue serving in the British Army.

Without going into too much detail I was lied to and misled and I have now lost my Job and my home due to this false recommendation.

I have complained to the company but they have failed to put right there wrong doing by contacting the Army and explaining that the report that the Dr wrote to them was not the recommendation that he gave to me I.e the patient along with ignoring anything I have to say.

It’s clear that no one wants to be honest and just admit they have been found out I have the hole meeting on a recording so there is no confusion over what was said, It’s as clear as black and white.

He also lied to me and his company by stating that his report was sent the day after the evaluation was taken but the date on his report proves that it was wrote almost one month after.

If the this Company and Dr where just honest with me and told me the same thing they told the Army’s Occupational Health then I could have dealt with it.

This Man and this company have put a serious strain on my Mental Health one where I feel that I have nothing left as everything has been taken away from me, I have nothing else to give the army was my life my career my pension my home my family..

So… 2019 time, I was sectioned in South wales but then sent to this wonderfully scary hospital that I thought was “a dance studio” in my fragile brain. Only to find out that I was in fact going to a PICU ward! Miles from my home!
I was petrified, the ward smelt awfully of urine down by the bedrooms, and the staff were.. terrible!! I vaguely remember plotting my plan to leave. From day 1 I had a gut feeling that I was going to die or not get out of there quickly! I was let out 6 weeks later… but man, I am traumatised more and more everyday, thinking about that bayley ward (2019) only thing I was grateful for was meeting an amazing friend “windyB” she saved my life, not those staff!! Should be closed down forever

Refuse to fix mistakes and horrendous treatment of patients. Avoid at all costs!!!!

This place is torture central. They medicated me until I was vomiting over myself, secluded me when I was howling for my family. Put me in seclusion when I was suffering. The RC lied and told me the ward was being moved into the community when it was actually being shut down by the CQC. There are flagrant and horrific cases of actual torture and human rights abuses going on here. This place is an inhumane degrading disgusting place where they just want to make a quick buck off your suffering and this place NEEDS to be FULLY SHUT. It is abhorrent what they are doing to innocent people here and it makes me shudder. I will need a lifetime of therapy after what I have witnessed in this abhorrent disgusting place. Shout out to nurse Zara, Sam Smith. You are complete total charlatans and liars and I hope what I told the CQC helped shut your ward down. YOU LIED. Beds here cost £225000 pounds a year and people are just treated as cash cows.

MM Updates: I was advised to seek counselling by Dr Laura Crawford of when sent me to Occupational Health in breach of the contract I signed on 7th October 2009. I did 12 sessions with Trainee Counsellor Laura Tinsley at that was part of Judge Elliott’s Court Management Order of 8th June 2016. I did two (2) years Mental Health research with and has published about subjects from cradle to grave from I created my website in 2012. I also used w.adwords.google.com to publish on at G+ and and where I was an influencer. Until I was targeted on behalf of LEYF and cohorts from the 18/9/2015 to date. I no longer have access to my LinkedIn and Twitter accounts and Facebook has become a cyberbullying criminal allowing haters and trolls to target me. There is evidence proving how I am the victim of the systems because I wrote Open Letters to Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May. I refuse to be the victim of Men in Childcare Founder Richard Harty of the University Of East London who panic and take me off the SEND course to cover up links to LEYF Paedophile RINGS in abuse reviews online.

Back in 2012, I was one of the irish children sent to this place. I was sent from Ireland by our High court to a place that was "going to help". I was traumatised from day one. Ever day felt like a battle to survive the abuse. The staff were disgusting towards us. One girl in there had cut her self on a daily basis and I had to try stop her because staff said "leave her". Staff Temba told that same girl to hold her dress up and dont get the blood on the carpet. Others were restrained constantly and injected every time. Restraints were 6-8 men on girls. I have adhd and had times I struggled to control myself and had giggled at something I thought of and was told to stop and ended up restrained. I a child who laughed ended up in a seclusion room for hours. One girls wounds from self harm caused her to collapse in front of us because she had blood poisoning. They didn't clean the wounds for her and they over time became infected. There was a dirty protest in the Ward and we werent actually in prison. A different type of prison you could say. Staff were not good at there job. They were abusive. My first night there they couldnt find me a pillow. It was loud all the time. The food was not good and the meals themselves were not healthy balanced diets. Bathrooms had spy holes in the door, so privacy going to the bathroom didn't exist. The unit itself was unhygienic and lacked furniture and things to do. You were in the one room all day long with 10 other girls who had all different problems and needs. But none were ever met. We had a tv but channels were chosen by the one staff who put football on. Other staff never bothered with it. No outdoor if you have an incident so fresh air was earned on the level board. Which takes months of work to build up. But people rarely got to the top because help to get there was not available. Psychiatrist Doctor Barker was rarely available and when he walked in to the ward John Clare he was flooded with girls trying to go home. This place should be shut down. I'm still in psychotherapy years later. But I'm able to write this review now which is a big step. There are lots of stories to tell from this place. One day the person that needs to hear them will listen to me. Please dont send your family here. They will waste their time in that part of their life. Bring them somewhere you 100% know they wont need therapy coming out.

One star is not low enough. This asylum will not “care” for your teenager. Instead they will allow her to self harm so badly she has to go to A&E for x-rays, be allowed to swallow earrings and zip ends and then shouted at by ward manager and refused medication when in pain as a result. Then your child be be punished by her mother not being allowed to visit her on Christmas Day because I complained about this horrific malpractice. Do not expect to receive ANY information regarding your teen - there is a policy of hiding information unless you demand to know. The place is dirty, carpets are not vacuumed regularly, my daughter’s legs were covered in flea bites during the first two weeks in this place. You are not allowed to see the rooms in the ward - wonder why!!! Bullying goes on and nothing is done in a timely manner to prevent it. The whole place and it’s staff are an utter disgrace. It is a hell hole dressed up to look pretty on the outside but the horrors are within suffered by these poor vulnerable children imprisoned inside.
