Lloyd at Watford Richer Sounds was absolutely brilliant, replied to my messages immediately and sorted out exactly what I needed at a great price! The Marantz Cinema 60 is also a fantastic product.

I ordered a CD player online for collection at the store. I managed to park in one of the allocated parking spaces at the rear of the store and went in to collect my purchase. To save me carrying it back to the car, a member of staff waited for me to get the car and then brought out to me at the kerbside. Great Service!

I originally heard about how good Richer Sounds were with their customers and my experience did not disappoint! I walked into the shop and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help, I replied with I heard this was the best place for help with something I know nothing about. Anish then said no problem I can help you! I read his name tag and saw he was still fairly new to this role yet he was able to answer every question I had and not only that he was patient, attentive and happy to help with anything I needed. He didn’t try and do what most sales men do and try to get me to spend stupid amounts of money, instead he actually listened to me and what I was after and helped me reach a conclusion I couldn’t be happier with! The world needs more people like Anish and the team at Richer Sounds Watford they were all so helpful, supportive and funny, I will defo be back and couldn’t recommend these guys enough!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant service from the Guys and Girls at Richer Sounds Watford

Bradley, the store manager at Watford was amazing and helped us buy Sonos speakers at a good price.

I ordered a TV which was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately, the TV arrived damaged and this was reported to Richer Sounds. The speed and professionalism with which my issue was resolved could not be faulted, and my lasting impression is not that I originally received a faulty product, but how wonderfully the team at Richer Sounds in Watford dealt with my problem. I will 100% return to Richer Sounds in the future

I received amazing service from Lloyd, the deputy manager at Richer Sounds Watford. He was incredibly professional, explained everything clearly and politely, and made the whole experience a pleasure.

I had written a 5 star glowing review of this company after purchasing hifi equipment & how helpful they were but this soon changed. The technician they sent to me admitted 'rounding up the prices for a cash payment' after I confronted him & he broke their rules resulting in my being asked to pay to change an item & which the company didn't do after I complained. I had asked this technician to help me to buy a product which turned out to be faulty. The saleswoman's response was to give me a few minutes of her time after I returned to the shop & saying that this technician had not been complained about before. They then sent another technician who was more professional but didn't complete the job & when I left a phone message for him nearly a year later it was not accepted & I heard nothing more. I contacted someone else who found the equipment had been deliberately jammed which is why there was a problem with it & that it was probably a returned item to the shop it was brought from. I'm now in the process of selling it for far less than I paid for it believing it was new & buying a new one. Richer Sounds have a responsibility to their paying customers to send staff who act with integrity not impunity as they represent Richer Sounds & not themselves even though this arrangement was between the original technician & myself & not the shop. I will not buy from Richer Sounds again neither recommend them as they are not a professional company neither helpful once money is paid & neither technicians completed jobs I had paid for. This occurred around Sept 2025. I would give no or minus 5 stars if it was possible.

Went to my local store in Watford. I knew what TV I wanted. Very good advice from Bradley I wanted my old tv removed and the new one installed, again excellent job done by Ben who got it all linked up to my sky box. I would definitely recommend Richer Sounds to my family and friends.

Overall a good experience. I have used RS before and I will do again.
A couple of pieces of feedback… The product information webpage for the Edifier 5 subwoofer I bought doesn’t specify the dinensions of the product - pretty important if you need to put it into an existing cabinet.
And the user journey through ‘click and collect’ was plain weird - having specified c’n’c I was faced with a ‘delivery address’ screen: I had to find the store street address (this is information which you obviously already know). Surely this should pre-populate. I nearly backed out of the transaction at that point.
The courier sending ME texts saying when they would deliver (to YOU) also felt weird - what advice would I give to the delivery driver(?). This arrangement feels cobbled together - as a customer who is buying smthg from Richer Sounds at the given location I don’t want to receive messages which relate to YOUR logistics arrangements…
But overall, a happy customer!
