I must complement Ryan at your Newcastle store for excellent customer service. He kindly arranged for me to listen to a range of Focal headphones & also assisted with my purchase of a Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition which was delivered the very next day. This is the first time I have dealt with Peter Tyson’s but I will certainly return & will recommend them to friends & family without hesitation.

Great customer service especially from Ryan who set up different combinations for self and wife to listen too. Spent over an hour listening to my Qobuz albums. Finally came away spending more than intended but more than happy.
A month on and the Naim atom and Sonus Faber Lumina 2 speakers are still sounding better every day.
Many thanks to the team at Newcastle. Definitley recomed to anyone else looking for a special listening experience.

Superb company, and whilst we had one technical glitch, Steve Hope walked us through it over the phone, diagnosed the issue, changed the amp and got us running. No hiding, no dodging, just good service in sorting the issue. Opinion? - it gets no better than that. Anyone can take your money, but it's when there is a problem that separates the good from the bad. Well done guys and sorry it's only taken about 2 years to get around to writing this review 😉..Meanwhile, all still going well 👍

Peter Tyson, are always competitive and fair on pricing. I have bought several products over the years, many of which were mid range to hi end. Had an issue once with a faulty cd player, was sorted out immediately.
I would have no hesitation purchasing again.

All staff in Newcastle and Carlisle branches were brilliant especially Ryan in Newcastle. A faulty turntable signal was detected by Ryan and we purchased audioengine speakers which bypassed the problem completely. They are cracking for their size and price. Nothing is too much trouble at Peter Tyson, the approach was friendly, helpful and kind. We are very happy customers.

I bought a Marantz amp 4 years ago 2019 from Newcastle PT and was pleased with service and product. However recently the amp started to develop a persistent static/crackling sound through speakers and headphones when cd and phono used. Tried different interconnect’s and combinations but no change. When I rang the store I purchased the amp from I was told it was in warranty and gave me a contact number to arrange repair. Spent a great deal of time explaining to service engineer in Carlisle who agreed the amp was faulty and someone would ring to arrange repair after the weekend. They didn’t get back to me. I then received an e mail from PT informing me that my amp is out of warranty and repair is no longer covered. Not happy given that on current PT website all Marantz amps have a standard 5 year warranty. I have since managed to get a much better deal on amp and cd purchase with a six year warranty at Richer Sounds. I won’t use Peter Tyson again.

Spent 40 minutes discussing compact stereo options with Aaron in Newcastle. He was very knowledgeable and incredibly patient. Just placed my order. Great company!

The unit I was after had just sold out, so I asked advice about cost and consistency, with my £1600 system. They proffered a couple of options, and made my choice, a moniter ,G3 in white. Price was cheap I was a little dubious, but having a long standing purchase history with them, I gave it a try.
The initial stage is screwing the rubber feet on I'm surprised they don't come ready attached with a firm hand or elecy screwdriver. Only takes 15 mins so not that bad really. That done lfe line to a Denon dra800h and wharfdale diamond 12.3 speakers. The monitor 36 Which is at first glance promising, everything is there control wise, good sensitive turn knobs, making it it easy to fine tune in harmony with your rig. Switches are fair quality and a well built look. For 15 mins work putting legs on its well worth the rich deep bass. Verdict, I've got one👍.

Having give a 1 star review I received a phone call from a director asking me what happened. I believe he was genuinely shocked and upset and offered his most sincere apologies. Following that phone call I have rescinded that report and I am delighted to say that I’ve just spent time with Martin Tyson at the Newcastle showroom. I was most impressed with his friendly and helpful attitude. I’m now looking forward to my new Focal Kanta 2 speakers. A great experience

Peter Tysons helped by my current system and I'm over the moon with it and their service. This time I noticed a big saving on a pair of ex demo headphones (Grado) so I bought them online. Excellent headphones and great service. There was a delay with the delivery but that was an issue with DHL.

Excellent all around. The goods were just as I wanted and the comms throughout the order process were just oustanding from both the company and dpd.
