I've been an Omaha Steaks burger customer forever. Every few months, we've gotten a few dozen burgers and this has been going on for a decade. In August, I placed my normal order but when the burgers arrived, they looked different. They were gray and they tasted very different than they ever did before. For a decade, they were reddish with the same consistent taste. I thought I just got a bad batch so I called their wonderful AI (I mean that sincerely, it was an easy experience) and received a replacement order. It was the same gray look. We tried some burgers from the replacement batch but they were the same as the previous batch. They didn't taste bad in the sense that they were spoiled, they tasted bad in the sense that they were unappetizing bordering on inedible. Moreover, the amount of fat in the bottom of the pan was amazing - the Omaha Steaks burgers prior to this produced almost relatively little fat in the bottom of the pan.

I called customer support and was assured that nothing had changed, but they had no explanation for the difference in look, fat content and taste. If it happened once, I could have gotten a bad batch. It happened twice. Trustpilot doesn't let me upload pics but the difference in how the product looks now vs. earlier in 2026 is night and day and I would have liked if Omaha Steaks cared enough to offer an explanation. They did refund the order but if my favorite burger company materially changed a product, I would think they would say something.

i made one order and saw there was a discount. unbeknown to me the discount was attached to a repeat order program. i called and asked to remove by credit card info and all thrée different customer service reps said they were unable to do it. they take your credit card info really easy but somehow can not delete it. at all! now i will have to be inconvenienced even further by changing my credit card number with my credit card company.

I thought i was ordering superior food when I took advantage of a "half- prce" offer on breaded veal cutlets. To get the deal I was compelled to purchase additional items.
The cutlets are ground veal and for the price, I'd have done better with grocery store Fast Fixins chicken fried steak.
Really disappointing.
Im cooking some of their flounder tonite, I sure hope it's a lot better.
Just had the flounder, fish okay, "breading" only on 1 side and meager.
Even after baking at 400° for 27 minutes it was wet and the breading had about disappeared.
Not anything I would recommend or purchase again.

Horrible customer service. Got order wrong, didn’t make right and although they got my payment correctly and I provided the info for correct item they used the lamest excuse “you didn’t provide your correct email, that’s unfortunate”

Small servings of average to low quality meat for high prices. This must be a liberally driven belief that you’re getting quality when actually not. Try this. Go to Costco, but PRIME meat that puts Omaha to shame at in some cases lower prices. But there’s no comparison to Costco high quality meat. Good night.

I’m new member.I love the burgers! Arrived in perfect condition,dry ice,lined box,no soggy boxes. Some say expensive! Go to supermarket and get lame ass burgers, and cheaper than McDonalds. I love this product and will be a loyal customer!!!!!

Omaha steaks provided good steak and chicken products to help me with portion control. They have good quality, reasonable price and exception packaging for home deliveries. love the products and service.

I burned my finger on the dry ice. There are no clear warnings. I called them, never called back; I sent a certified letter, nothing back. They suck.

This used to be my favorite go to company for steaks , burgers etc. no more !! There shipping boxes went down hill big time and orders have been delivered with boxes broken apart and all parts of order gone bad. Even when they gladly reship same problems. I’m so sorry not be able to use them anymore . Hopefully they’ll change packaging back to dry ice with the better shipping containers.

3 is for the packaging. No longer in a styrofoam box like we have always recv. It’s was in cardboard box with insulation - but the dry ice was gone and the box soaked. The interior boxes were also wet. The meat appears fine but was surprised by the new packaging.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would.
We received a package of "chicken breasts" from a friend as a gift. It honestly looks like they took 1 breast and sliced it into 4 individual pieces. When we cooked them up, they were LIKE RUBBER! The texture is not normal, either. ABSOLUTE UNEDIBLE GARBAGE!!!!

Got delivered to the wrong address next to a trash can, the guy even sent proof that he was at the wrong address (via pin and photo). We asked for a refund and they said to call back in 24 hours, even with the proof that we never received it.

We tracked the location the driver said he dropped it off at, which was 3 miles away and the package was gone.

Title: Frustrating experience with reward points and customer support

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience trying to redeem 984 reward points. No matter what I tried, the website would not allow me to apply my points to an order. When I attempted to call customer service for assistance, I was left waiting on hold for over 20 minutes despite being told the wait would be 5 minutes, and I was unable to reach a live person after two attempts.

When I eventually placed an order without the points, I attempted to cancel it through the chat feature. The first agent ended the chat as soon as I requested a cancellation. During my second attempt, the agent claimed the order had been canceled, yet I subsequently received an order confirmation. Due to these technical issues and the complete lack of effective customer support, I will not be ordering from Omaha Steaks again.

i recieved the steaks and other ok but it was all unfrozen i refroze it and later cooked the steak it tasted terrible so i ended up throwing all of it away i will never order from them again

Your ad comparing American heritage and history to your steak is insulting and downright ridiculous.

Steaks were good. Hot dogs were good. Stay far away from the burgers ! The patties look gray in color and fall apart when you pull them out of the packaging. They also have zero flavor for smash burgers and regular burgers.

I ordered a physical $250 gift card that never arrived. I called multiple times trying to figure out where it was or when it would be coming. They told me it could take up to 3-4 weeks even though the arrival date said 10 days after I ordered it. They ship the gift cards by USPS so there is no tracking available. It is now 42 days (6 weeks) since I placed the order. I spoke to one person who said she could cancel the original card and send another one by either UPS or Fed Ex so it would arrive faster and would have tracking information. She was going to email me the confirmation and tracking information. It never came so I called back only to be told that they could not, in fact, send by UPS or Fed Ex. The only way to send it is by USPS. I also then found out that instead of refunding my original payment method, they put a $250 credit in my Omaha Steaks account (I don't actually have an account so I'm not even sure how this was possible). They were unable to reverse it and the only option was to either issue me an electronic gift card to Omaha Steaks or for them to send me a check again by USPS mail. They have no way to get tracking information for that mailed check. I have wasted multiple hours only to get an unacceptable resolution. Now I have to wait to see if the check ever shows up. Oh and it will take 5-7 weeks for it to arrive.

Omaha steaks used to have the reputation for the providing excellent meat gifts in the US.
However, when I sent a gift box to Friends, who helped my husband during an illness, I was later told that it was a poor gift. 😔
Steak was substituted with chicken, small portions and things I was not interested in were poked in the box as filler. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Unfortunately, their reputation is changing – at least in my eyes.

I love Omaha Steaks! I order twice a month, best around!
