I signed up for a gym membership for my family and me about 5 months ago. While being sold the membership, I asked about the junior gym membership for our 13-year old where it was explained to me that if he goes by himself but is supervised, he will need to book (which I fully understand) but if he goes with us (the adults) he does not.
I signed all three of us up (2 adults and 1 junior). It appeared that you had to book onto every session, even parents with the junior and there was a cap of how many juniors could be on site.

Most of the staff at the center that I attend are amazing (hence the 4 stars, especially some receptionists as well as the personal trainers), however, there seems to always be one that tends to make it very difficult and refused us entry once as we couldn’t book due to all the slots being taken (bear in mind, they only have 5 or 6). While sometimes you can’t navigate the exact time and don’t want to block multiple slots, I do think there should be leeway around this especially since the junior is attending with a parent.

While the membership appeared mis-sold, the staff overall is what make this center.
The technology needs updating as it’s really lagging when scanning yourself in and it doesn’t recognize multiple attendances (I.e if you want to swim for 30 minutes and use the gym for 30 minutes) so I have received a few emails telling me I have not attended, which is not true.

The center I attend could do with an overall refurb too.

I visited the gym after a pre-planned absence which necessitated me to speak with the membership team.

The membership team were very welcoming and understanding. It was nice to return to utilise the gym facilities again.

In my experience, staff are always approachable. Over the course of time, I have built a friendly rapport with the gym staff, personal trainers as well as some of the front of house team members.

In my experience, members adhere to the gym rules and staff are always available to assist with any advice or assistance should this be sought.

The recent development to the facilities is very impressive and the centre is very well equipped in helping towards achieving my fitness goals.

Well run centre. Staff helpful and knowlegable. Facilities up to date. Aqua sessions are varied and easily accessable. Cafe if great value. All round great experience. I love keeping fit with Raich!

Going for my induction , Tom Bodle was superb,then he started me on my first programme, he really knew what i needed to do, now i feel more confident as the weeks go on and look forward to going and meeting up with friends to train with.

Recently started using the outdoor pool absolutely love it the temperature of the pool is perfect the surrounding is really nice always clean and tidy for a larger lady who lacks confidence i feel really comfortable at the pool in just my swimsuit good lifeguards lovely cafe and good music gives it a real holiday vibe don't change anything it's perfect

Der erste Eindruck von Everyone Active war sehr professionell, und auch die bisher genutzten Center in England haben uns gut gefallen. Leider wurde dieser positive Eindruck inzwischen deutlich getrübt.

Wir reisen mit dem Wohnmobil durch Großbritannien und haben uns vor Abschluss der Mitgliedschaft ausdrücklich danach erkundigt, ob wir die Center auf unserer Rundreise nutzen können. Aufgrund der Aussage „über 230 Center nationwide“ und der Beratung vor Ort gingen wir davon aus, dass das Angebot für unsere Reise gut geeignet ist.

Erst später stellten wir fest, dass es in Schottland offenbar überhaupt keine Everyone-Active-Center gibt. Auf unsere Anfrage nach einer Lösung oder möglichen Partnerstudios erhielten wir lediglich eine allgemeine Standardantwort zum Einfrieren der Mitgliedschaft. Dieses Einfrieren ist nur für volle Kalendermonate möglich, kostet zusätzlich £5 pro Monat und hilft bei einem Aufenthalt von zwei bis drei Wochen überhaupt nicht weiter.

Wir fühlen uns daher leider falsch beraten. Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass auf unsere eigentliche Frage gar nicht eingegangen wurde. Der anfangs sehr professionelle Auftritt hat sich im Kundenservice leider nicht bestätigt.

Sehr schade, denn mit den Einrichtungen selbst waren wir zufrieden. Nach dieser Erfahrung werden wir die Mitgliedschaft voraussichtlich nicht verlängern.

Visited the lido. Great environment and the slides are a lot of fun. It was clean and had a great vibe. My only issue is that I can get abit crowded in the pool when the slot is fully booked so make sure you get there early to get a picnic space and a swim in the pool. It would get 5 stars if they reduced the amount of people per slot and maybe increased the amount of slots.

Staff do not know prices website and app are useless. Registered and was sent an email and will not let me log on. This place is a waste of tax payers money.

Please parents if you are booking a children’s pool party at Acton, go into the centre and ensure they put what they say they will do in writing.

Despite me booking my son’s party 2 months in advance I'm the one who is expected to provide evidence yes evidence for their over booking on the day.

My son’s party was almost a disaster that's to one incompetent employee who’s. Customer service a skills have a lot to be desired.

Booking system needs work. Never any same day availability for swimming and ive tried 5 local pools. Cant plan ahead to children's needs.

Awful organisation, worst communication I have ever experienced. Tried to book my son onto swimming lessons, the process was very difficult and they have no direct lines of communication. Shortly after booking him onto a class, they cancelled it. They have continued to charge me despite cancelling his membership. I have sent over 8 enquiries. I have visited the local centre twice in person to complain to the manager. They now owe us £120. Never had such a terrible experience and I don't often complain!

super helpful staff. I use it to take my youngest who has a learning disability swimming there every week and more often during the holidays. the staff are understanding and supportive.

Registered for a day pass to check out the swimming facilities. Went to the teaching pool and booked a family swimming session. They offer toys and pool noodles you can use but you can bring your own.

Family changing rooms are great with four you can use with baby but there is no option to strap baby in so bring your pram in maybe.

I like to see the water temperature when I go swimming hit I wasn’t able to see the info. Asked about temperature as we attended with a baby but they weren’t sure. Other than that all was fine.

Registered for baby swimming lessons and went to the first one. This was lovely and nicely done but again, I am not sure about the water temperature and if baby needs a wetsuit.

Polite staff who were keen to help out a first time visitor. I felt the sports centre was clean and tidy and will look to return again shortly

I have been a member of Fareham Leisure Centre since 2009, so it is extremely disappointing that after around 17 years I have finally made the decision to cancel my membership.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and hygiene standards, particularly in the women’s changing rooms and toilets, have become unacceptable. There is frequently an unpleasant smell, the toilets and changing areas are often filthy, and the sanitary disposal bins do not appear to be emptied regularly enough. These are basic hygiene standards that I would expect any leisure centre to maintain.

What has been particularly disappointing is that I have raised concerns about these issues on numerous occasions, yet I have never received a proper response and, more importantly, nothing seems to have improved. As a long-standing member, I would have expected my concerns to at least be acknowledged and taken seriously.

Ultimately, I reached the point where I could no longer justify the membership cost for facilities that I did not feel were being maintained to an acceptable standard. I have now cancelled my membership and joined David Lloyd instead, where I have found the facilities and cleanliness to be of a significantly higher standard.

It is a real shame that after being a member since 2009, repeated hygiene issues and the lack of response to my complaints have resulted in Fareham Leisure Centre losing such a long-standing customer.

Excellent value for money with every machine available and coaches to assist.

Great to have such a lovely place in Kenilworth to vist - staff very friendly and the gym is perfect. Great value as well.

Really helpful girls on reception as i was a new member they helped me use the app and directed me ro thw changing rooms. Parking was also free which is a bonus , lovely quuet pool came away thoroughly relaxed.

Good facilities, indoor & outdoor pools - great in this heat - plus gym. Most importantly very helpful team dealing with queries and questions.

Whoever designed their website should be sacked - spent the best part of an hour trying to book a swimming session and they ask for far to much information. Website and app need how new design. Extremely poor
