The company came highly recommended but turned out to give totally unsatisfactory service. Totally messed up lawn and dislodged large concrete gate post at pickup address. At delivery address turned up with only 3 men and no tailift truck to unload. Had to return to depot to get a tailift truck. I had to provide 2 extra people for unloading trailer as job could not have been done by 2 gentlemen in 60s and young fullah learning trade under 20. Then there also was substantial damage to goods. .Did not pay them a substantial amount of money for me to have to do work myself. When I contacted them to complain they were very apologetic but didn't offer any compensation. Gave me 3 incorrect email addresses to send photos and complaint to before I could actually get a correct one from them. Be warned. Use them at your own risk. When they apologize and say that in no way did the move live up to their standards, they will do nothing about it except giving you an apology. As you can tell, I am super disappointed in Conroy removals NZ

We moved to NZ this year and the shipping company we used to get our stuff here used conroy removals this side. The day when their team delivered to the goods was perfect and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Once when they were done they said as soon as we have unpacked our items we can contact their office and arrange for collection of all the packaging and boxes. So we did just that and phoned both numbers provided. No answer for a few days. I started mailing them and was told that they were going to contact us soon. It never happened so I send another mail. The response was bad! I was told if they were in the area they would come we should just wait and if the stuff is in our way we should put it in the recycling bins. This ain't a cheap excise and I'm not going to pay for recycling when I already paid them. This is inappropriate and a lack of communication. It's not customer services at all.

This is the third time I have used Conroy's (both inter island and regionally) they are highly skilled, easy to deal with, efficient and well-priced. Top quality service and excellent results.

From start to delivery, it was great, making contact in Auckland to arranging pick and packing, 20.4.26 all the way to delivery, which arrived, today 22.6.26 over all we are very happy with the whole process, and highly recommend Conroy for there service and contacts through to delivery, great job,, and today we had two kiwi guys drop our items off, how good was that, :)

An update for anyone looking to use Conroy's to shift. DONT! We sent an email to Conroy’s Management with photo's attached of the damage that was sustained to our furniture and concerns about multiple charges due to poor quoting. We received no feedback from anyone in management.

I was annoyed that there was no discussion or confirmation after the quote was given, as to my requirements as to what furniture etc. would be transferred to Masterton.
There was no discussion as to whether I would be staying the last night in the home,or moving out, as it was I had no other choice but to stay.
As it was some furniture that was originally listed was withdrawn.
I had said there would be two single beds included in the shift , that was never changed, come the day and the second bed was left behind because as the woman packer said, it couldn't be loaded on that day, I ask you where was I to sleep. I did ask the woman packer if it could be loaded the morning of takeoff, or could it be delivered at a later date,that was declined.
The two truck drivers were extremely obliging and friendly, and so helpful on the unloading, and I thank them very much.

I have used them before and chose to do so again. They arrive on time at the site. The process is easy and communicate is good. The boys work hard and consistently. They are all friendly, respectful and polite.

From start to finish we have found nothing but absolutley exceptional service from all involved in my 87 year old Dads removal from the Gold Coast to New Zeland. What started out as a daunting task ended up to be the most stress fee activity in his relocation. From my initial call to Deb at Crown,  to her guiding me throught the video call and seeing what was coming to NZ, suggesting what to pack and what not to pack, how to prepare various items,to the list of what not to bring (that I had no idea about, eg Vaccum cleaners, food )and the communication throughout across the various agencies. The paper work was an admin task that Dad would not have been able to do but the guidance from the Australia side made this do able too. We had a few questions, all were answered with clarity and respect for our lack of knowledge. Being passed to the Australia side of the process was straight forward, the packers were at Dads at the confirmed time, the pair did an exceptional job of packing Dads possessions and taking them away. On the NZ side all communications were made regarding the customs clearance , the expected arrival of the ship, the actual arrival and then Andrew from Conroy kept conveying to me the time the van would deliver into Dads garage in Thames. All communiations could then be conveyed to Dad who awaited in antictipation of his possessions arriving on the stated time. Everything arrived in pristine order, no damage, no breakages.

I cannot thank you all enough for the magnificent service, getting Dad back to NZ has been a very stressful time , but you all made this part of the process stress free and we all really  appreciate it. Customer service and communication has been exceptional, not often found these days. We cannot thank you enough. Cheers.

The removal staff left a large oil stain on the carpet then lied that it was already there. Office staff then accused us of lying. Do not recommend.

Absolutly top class packaging - 276 listed items moved from South Is to North Is and stored for nearly 2 months no breakages. Great team packing and 2 very helpfull and caring guys unloading.

Everything the pick up and Delivery were done on time and the staff at both ends were very professional

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience with Conroy Removals during our recent move.

While Jo from the New Plymouth branch was a bright star, always available and helpful, she was let down by her packing crew.

Several items were damaged due to what appeared to be poor packing and loading decisions. For example, boxes were stacked on top of an upright dining table, which resulted in cracking around the table leg joints. Our subwoofer was also transported unwrapped on the floor of the truck and came back heavily scratched.

While we had insurance and the claim was eventually settled, the damage should never have occurred in the first place. The only items damaged were furniture/items that had not been properly wrapped or protected by the packing team.

Moving into a new home should be exciting, but instead this added unnecessary stress and disappointment to the experience. Based on this experience, we would not use or recommend Conroy again.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Company.
From the initial meeting to discuss my requirements right through to the final delivery of my goods it has been an amazing experience with full ongoing communication throughout
I will be highly recommending this Compsny to anyone looking to relocate

Conroy is the best company to leverage whilst moving either domestically or internationally. Period.

I have leveraged them twice, moving from Melbourne to Auckland quite a while back and then when moving from New Zealand to Canada very recently.

Superb communication and their teams pack extremely well and with attention to detail !!! They are also priced very reasonably !!

For what seemed like a really overwhelming job for myself, Conroy Removals made it really easy and seamless. I asked about 40 questions before I even booked with them but nothing seemed too much. Even right down to me changing the delivery address while the container was in transit - nothing seemed too hard and I was never met with any hesitations and/or pushbacks. There was lots of communication throughout the whole process. From the admin team to the removalists and the NZ office staff, its all been great. So happy and would absolutely recommend to anyone to use their services!

I had a very good experience with Conroy. The team that collected my household goods from an apartment in Auckland were polite, friendly and capable. My goods were stored by Conroy in Napier for over a year, then delivered to my new address. There were no problems at all.

Conroy removals were excellent in all staff contact that we had. The communication was top notch and all the staff were cutious and very helpful. Special thanks to the packing and moving guys. They were supurb.
Thanks for making the move easier .Will reccomend to anyone who asks.
