Apollo Motorhome Holidays - Sydney Anmeldelser 

We had the best time traveling up the coast as a family in the motorhome for five days! It didn’t feel too big to drive (we were surprised how easy it was to use!) and it felt big enough inside for all of us to feel comfortable (5 of us). The motorhome was in great condition which made the trip very comfortable. The team were great on the day of collection and drop-off. Super helpful and clear as it is a lot of information to take in! We found the app and ‘how to’ videos incredibly helpful along the way and preparing ourselves for the trip.
We have already recommended hiring a motorhome to so many friends who were also considering doing it.
Thank you for such a great experience, we loved it!

Central consul not working day 1. Couldn’t be fixed on the road.Needed to add oil after 3 days. Hot water didn’t work and had to get fixed in Dubbo. TV screen not secured. Presumed on desk excellent.. Poor follow up after complaint.

The vehicles are dirty and in poor condition, and some of the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful.

Easy pick-up and return procedures

Efficient pick up and drop off experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and showed us everything that we needed to know about the Camper van. Will definitely hire again.

A very warm welcome on check in, great staff.

Checking in & checking out is smooth. Local staff was very helpful in answering my questions. Place was clean and especially loved the rack that have all the things that were left behind by previous campers.

Unsere Anmietung bei Apollo war von Anfang bis Ende eine Enttäuschung.

Übergabe in Sydney:
•⁠ ⁠Wartezeit über 1 Stunde auf das richtige Fahrzeug
•⁠ ⁠Statt des gebuchten „Euro Mini" wurde uns zuerst ein anderer, deutlich längerer Maui angeboten
•⁠ ⁠Als Campingstuhl: ein Kinderstuhl, unbrauchbar für einen großen Erwachsenen
•⁠ ⁠GASFLASCHE WAR GEÖFFNET vor der Abfahrt – ein gravierendes Sicherheitsproblem, wurde nicht geprüft
•⁠ ⁠Trittstufe defekt (Verletzungsgefahr beim Ein- und Aussteigen)

Zustand des Fahrzeugs:
•⁠ ⁠Toilette stark verschmutzt, ekelhafter Geruch – wir mussten Reinigungsspray kaufen und selbst putzen
•⁠ ⁠Tisch dreckig, von uns gereinigt
•⁠ ⁠Vorhänge eklig verschmutzt, der hintere Vorhang kaputt
•⁠ ⁠Windschutzscheibe innen extrem verschmiert, Sicht bei Sonne kaum möglich, Scheibenwischer machten es noch schlimmer
•⁠ ⁠Außen viele Kratzer, Fahrzeug wirkte heruntergekommen

Während der Reise:
•⁠ ⁠Hecktür ließ sich nicht mehr öffnen
•⁠ ⁠Beim vorgeschlagenen „Trick" zum Öffnen brach der Türgriff ab
•⁠ ⁠In Brisbane wurden wir nach den Reiseplänen gefragt, um die Mängel zu "beheben" – Rückmeldung kam erst, als wir längst weitergereist waren
•⁠ ⁠In Cairns wurden wir vor Ort komplett abgewiesen und wir haben keine Entschädigung o.ä. erhalten

Die Kommunikation per E-Mail war zäh, ausweichend und auf Entschädigung wurde stets auf „die nächste Filiale" oder „beim Drop-Off" verwiesen. Niemand fühlte sich zuständig.

Für eine mehrwöchige Australien-Reise, auf die man lange gespart und sich gefreut hat, eine Katastrophe. Klare Empfehlung: woanders buchen.

Great camper van, would hire it again.

USB / fridge a lot of equipment cannot be use normally in the camper van

We rented an Apollo Euro Deluxe model. If you google it, the pictures on the company's website are different than the model we're given. Our vehicle was old, it didn't have the glass shower stall (according to the pictures), which made an enormous difference with our toddler. Other than that, the RV was dirty, the floor had dirt on all corners, the blankets and the towels had little white round stains, that reallly looked like mold. We had to clean all up before we could rest, from our 24-hour flight. The car smelled bad. I don't think it's worth the price. It's our second rental with Apollo, and probably the last.

A very long waiting time to pick-up the camper. Explanation very short and quick

Good - Great pick up and location. Bad - toilet canister was not cleaned - worms second day after no use. Had to bleach it all down. The door sensor not working properly. Bedding was clean and other items good. Should include a lighter.
