Stewart Sellers. On time, and sorted out all the problems in my bathroom. I can now enjoy a shower with out soaking the walls and bathroom floor. Very nice gentleman who went above and beyond my expectations

I am genuinely surprised by the way Tilia has handled an issue that any customer might reasonably expect support with. Based on my personal experience, as well as insights gathered from reading other customer reviews, it appears that Tilia demonstrates limited regard for customer concerns.

This was my first experience with Tilia, and unfortunately, it has been deeply disappointing in terms of customer service. A representative actively pursued us for information that was relevant to a potential home purchase, and later apologised for proceeding with an offer that had been confirmed both via email and over the phone.

We shared our concerns as feedback with the head office, which subsequently forwarded our query to the regional team. However, we have not received any updates or meaningful communication since. When we followed up, we were told that the matter had been escalated to the Head of Sales, but again, no further response was provided. This has left us questioning whether internal communication is effective or if there is a lack of willingness to follow through on customer concerns.

Given this experience has taken place even before a purchase has been completed, we are now left uncertain—and somewhat apprehensive—about the level of support one could expect after a sale is finalised.

Regrettably, this has been our first and most disappointing experience with a customer service team to date.

We completed in March and we have had next to no snags sorted, the only time we had someone come to do some work he was here for 30 minutes then left.
We had a leak coming through our kitchen and into light fitting and carbon monoxide alarm. We had 0 response from our site manager or the customer service team which meant multiple calls the emergency line. It has been 5 weeks since the leak has been fixed but we are still without a carbon monoxide alarm and water damage both upstairs and down. We have now been told it will be 4 weeks until this is sorted as there is only 1 technician working for the whole of the north!
Tilia seem to lie when when they say they value customer service and are comitted to getting issues sorted. Our completion date was moved forward 3 months to our inconvenience and we have had next to no support/care in getting our long list of snags sorted; they seemed to have absolutely rushed everything at the expense of the customer.

Rafal Buzuk came to do my ceiling in Kettering and did an amazing job. He even fixed the problem with my door sticking and I’m very happy with his service.
He was very friendly, polite and respectful nothing was to much trouble :)

I'm absolutely thrilled with the work done by Robert and Mark from Tilia Home! They recently replaced my doors at 21 Dartmoor Close, Paddock, Stoke-on-Trent, and the transformation is incredible. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and workmanship are top-notch. The new doors look fantastic and function perfectly.

Awful company, we have spent a lot of money to buy a house from these people and they can’t even answer the customer service phone or emails after trying and trying for months and months, the times I have got through to them on the phone which is barely any they come back and say we will log this and someone will get back to you, do they ever get back to you no! Once you’ve paid for the house that’s all they care about as soon as the sales person did the handover fobbed straight off and then the customer service is absolutely shocking!

From the chaotic completion process, we should have known better. One year into the property, snags take months to resolve but only if you chase. Its almost like they ignore it to see if it will go away.

Purchasing a new build, we were never naive to “snags” and expected some, however the issues we have faced go beyond simple snags and are just a sign of negligent building.

We were promised aftercare and have had nothing of the sort! In fact, between customer service and the site manager, they just string you along, avoid you and are less than honest. They’ve got their money so could care less now.

A complaint raised in September 2024 has still not been dealt, very clearly not in line with their own complaints policy yet no acknowledgement.

Moved into my home all great, then before Easter I get one day notice that they are digging up my drive to sort the drains out for the next phase of building. 9 weeks later my drive is still part of the building site and I have no access to it! Tilia have no care, they cannot give me any answers as to when it will be fixed or deal the issues I have presented to them!
The contractors are not interested and do as they wish damaging fences and gardens with their heavy duty machinery, they don’t even acknowledge weekend working rules and have stone cutters, excavators and diggers running in a residential area at 7am on a Sunday morning with the addition of foul language and radios blaring.
A company who has no duty of care!

Rafal Buzuk and Brian Aldridge were brilliant, Rafal was very efficient and friendly in fixing the house colours.

I would strongly suggest you think carefully about purchasing from this builder. After almost two years of battling for issues to be corrected the facts are clear. We have a wall in our garden wrongly constructed. Northern service team still have not arranged any dates to address issue. The service staff tell me their managers details to contact the relevant person are unavailable due to data protection. The manager also has not contacted ourselves, total lack of professionalism. I have never had a company that you are not able to speak to a manager.
There are other ongoing issues not addressed which have left us distressed. They disregard us, my health has been affected and they really have no care,
If Tilia made management contact possible, so many issues could have been resolved. We wrote to directors, but very sadly no response. Their service team is poor, all we ever get told is she is dealing with it.

I picked my plot in September 2024. From the very beginning i have been kept up to date by Ellie Reedshaw sales executive. I have always felt she has gone over and above to get me here. I have only just got here at the end of May and was supposed to be in April. But that’s new builds frustrating but I have just what I always wanted now. I would definitely recommend Tilia as my friend did to me.

Where do I start! From reserving a plot last October to not being able to complete until May 2025, Tilia homes have been absolutely magnificent, especially Ellie Reedshaw Sales Executive, who went over and beyond to help me go ahead with buying my forever dream home. Head office were also very helpful and supportive. I can’t thank Tilia homes enough for their support and help, which continues since I moved in two weeks ago. I totally recommend Tilia homes if you have them near you, for service and excellent quality. No I am not being paid for this review 😂 just a honest review from my heart. ❤️❤️❤️

Tilia are the worse builders we have ever experienced. The sales staff gossip about residents to other residents , they still haven’t finished our snagging after 3 years. They lie, and the development around Landimore Park is a disgrace .

Other developments in Northampton are immaculate with grass verges and the landscape well maintained .

If you drive around the Willows and the Knolls development it is appalling and full of weeds.

We are now taking this to the ombudsman and new homes ombudsman.

We are 3 weeks on now after a telehandler driven on a live road drove into my parked car and caused £1000 worth of damage. Tilia have committed an offence and refused to give us their insurance details and because the machine was driven on a love road, they are liable for the insurance on the hired tele handler. Tilia have failed to call us back when promised and have fobbed us off each step of the way. The site manager didnt even have the decency to knock on my house and apologise for the damage caused to our vehicle. The whole thing stinks. Their banksman was supposed to be guiding the telehandler but failed to spot our parked car! I have since heard that the banksman had not had adequate training. I am on the Teign View site in Kingsteignton. Please contact me to get this resolved.

Tilia homes don’t have any concern for local wildlife. I have contacted them regarding an incident which occurred in my local area which showed thought to animals and their habitat and had zero response, I can only presume this is because they know they were in the wrong and chose to not acknowledge it.

Building completed on time Snags dealt with promptly, overally and efficient and pleasant experience

We are currently still going through an experiance of house buying and would love to get a specific build that’s not ready yet at the Avenue in wingerworth, Derbyshire,we are in the middle of selling our house,so in no rush,we really hope to get a property on that development if we can’t have the house we hoped for. You get a really nice feel for the area. I felt I needed to write a review because we are just so greatful for everything the ladies have done up there for us already!..Lindsay Watson in particular, cannot Thankyou enough for all the support you have given me and my family and all your knowledge and expertise, your just so professional and alongside being my councillor 😆I’m forever greatful of her! Lindsay and Andrea make a fantastic team!! ..lindsay helped me remain calm especially as I have adhd I can get a bit flappy sometimes and a bit overwhelmed so she’s helped me to just go with it and this crazy house buying process.
It’s extremely scary at first but she’s helped it become so relaxing and we got to pick the kitchen the other week and sit with Lindsay and Andrea, who is amazing too and just super helpful and kind and Definatley both know their stuff! 🤩..that was a lovely experiance..I honestly thought I’d never want a new build, my dad who’s a builder has always said don’t do it, but he’s had a look and even he says how well built these properties are with Tilia and the avenue in particular is in a lovely spot with gorgeous views and when he looked around with us,thought the area and how the properties were built are beautiful. That made us feel really good! If he’s happy we are too, but all the help we have had Honestly is just excellent! Lindsay and Andrea aren’t just there to sell houses, they care and that means everything!!!! Lindsay has been there for us so much! And if we need anything I know I can ring and ask her anything.we have mainly been speaking to Lindsay, Andrea we know is there if we need her 🫶..an excellent development and hopefully, fingers crossed..that’s where we will end up! 🤞 amazing experiance so far 🩷

Went home visit my daughter's brand new home, literally brand new.
Damp, mould and spores. Quite staggering and distressing for the family, with three children. I keep saying "brand new", as it is quite unbelievable. They have been in the home less than a month!! Brand, spanking new!!!

Was left with a hole in wall & skirting board left off after an initial visit at begging of March after a lot of emails which were ignored by customer service I finally had a visit from maintenance last week.
Nick was excellent extremely helpful and professional he patched wall and told me he would be back today. He has done a great job. Very tidy workmanship
