Modules are thorough and instruction through each one is clear. Assignment expectations are also clear and easy to understand. Tutor feedback is prompt and helpful. I have been able to apply knowledge learned from this course immediately as I am working through it.

I chose this course after watching a YouTube review because I wanted a legit interior design course and a valid diploma, even if it isn't accredited. I appreciate being able to learn and complete assignments at my own pace. My tutor, Laura, is exceptional: so human, diligent, and highly professional. She answers all my questions with insightful professional tips and tricks. What you get from your course depends on you. You can choose to speed up and get your diploma ASAP within 6 months, or take your time to develop your designer brain and make sure you know what you’re doing. That’s the path I chose, and I love not having to compete with anyone but myself. The student support is amazing, too. I’ve faced very difficult challenges lately, and IDI and Laura supported me every step of the way, helping me get through it and realize my dream of becoming a professional interior designer. I love this online course because it made it possible. Thank you, IDI! Thank you, Laura!

The modules are clearly written and easy to follow, even for someone with very little experience.
The content is comprehensive and very informative, and the tutor's responses are quick and helpful.

The journey to becoming an interior designer has been pleasant, exciting and great value for money!

My only comment would be to perhaps add suppliers in South Africa for sourcing furniture in module 10, as the listed countries are not relevant to SA students

Very good course for the people who want to start the profession like me. At first of course I’d very complicated, but by doing the assignments and teacher’s feedback you learn faster and it’s very engaging.

IDI is a very thorough course that covers more than the basics. Great detailed feedback from tutors.

Half way through module 6 and I’ve learnt so much already. Tasking but so worth it

The self-paced structure is a lifesaver if you are balancing studies with a job or daily life, letting you absorb dense concepts without burning out.

I've had a great experience so far, and the content is simple and easy to understand.
The reason I'm not giving 5 star is that I wish there were video trainings accompanied with each module.

I enjoy studying through IDI, the course has given me a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of interior design .
My lecture is passionate, knowledgeable and has been very supportive since I have started the course .It is a rewarding experience which i can personally recommend IDI to anyone looking at doing interior design . ( Thabo Ndlovu)

Easy to understand, I have learnt so much in 5 modules & applying it in my work already. Knowing the basics I now feel confident to come up with original ideas. So much fun, I can’t wait to learn the rest.

Module 10 taught me the true value of client engagement. I learned that a successful design doesn't start with a mood board—it starts with listening. This project pushed me outside my comfort zone by challenging me to design a bedroom in a style I wouldn't normally choose, which expanded my creativity and made me a more versatile designer. The step-by-step process, from the initial client meeting to the site evaluation, gave me a realistic understanding of how a professional design project unfolds from start to finish.

I'm halfway through the course and I feel like I've learned so much already! The tutors are nice, but also very helpful! It's easy to understand, very affordable and I'm gaining so much more confidence in my designs. I'm very happy I took the leap and signed up for IDI 😊

This is a very interesting course so far, covering a lot more than I expected, from Architecture to electrical installations.
The floor plans are a little difficult, I am drawing by hand, as I couldn’t get the hang of sketch up.
My tutor seems to give good feedback.
I have just completed module 5

Genuinely have enjoyed this program. Was able to do this while working full time as it is flexible. I just wish that as a Canadian student, when you are provided with links and recourses for products that they were not all Australian suppliers.

I cannot fault my experience of learning through this course. It has been amazing to be doing it at my own pace, as life can really take a turn, and rushing through studying that I am passionate about would have me feeling very different. Instead, I feel like I am able to absorb all the information and really push my thinking outside the box. The tools are so useful, and the guidance is clear. I have scored 10s throughout, and honestly, this does have me questioning just how much my tutor is paying attention to my submissions (are they really perfect)? I am not receiving the type of critical feedback I thought I would. This would be my only comment to be taken on board.

I love the feedback I am getting from my tutor. She continues to give me very useful feedback to take into account to keep striving to become better and better. The way it is set up is also another thing I am a big fan of. It’s super easily set up and keeps everything organized.

It’s a really good institute, very nicely set up and the tutors are great. You definitely learn a lot throughout each module.

I’m very happy with my experience in The Interior Design Course. The course is well structured, easy to follow, and everything is explained clearly, which makes the learning process very enjoyable.The instructor is always attentive and available whenever you have questions, and communication is very smooth and helpful. The platform is also easy to navigate, and the community feels welcoming and supportive.
I’ve learned a lot throughout the course and really enjoy the way the program combines clear explanations with practical assignments. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about interior design.

I’m going to say that the information that I got was helpful and underlying to me. I want to know what and how to use the information in my daily routine to better serve myself in the future.
