great software however not bug free and their tech support is a bad joke.
i love Serato software but they're not without their bugs, i use Serato Studio extensively however some unresolved bugs take months/years to fix if they ever get fixed at all, and their tech support is pretty much nonexistent at this point. i had hope that with the introduction of the SLAB controller it would mean they'd polish things up in Studio but i have yet to see any updates in that regard other than the implementation of SLAB as a controller.

I had nothing but issues from the start leaving me knowing that it was a BIG mistake to have SeratoPro. It's now been yrs since then and I have just purchased a mixer that unlocks Rekordbox because trying to use serato is just stupidity. Serato cannot beat grid simple beats and glitches stopping tracks on playback beyond any reason where every update they release just gets worse. To sum up Serato is the worst purchase I have ever made! Traktor & Engine dj software is miles better and worth having leaving SeratoDjPro the worst software I have ever used. My advice= Avoid!

Poi, assurdo: se si vuole utilizzare una scheda audio professionale (Apogee Symphony Mk II) impossibile, se hai un controller collegato (Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 ) sei condannato. Devi utilizzare obbligatoriamente le uscite audio (ridicole a confronto con i Dac D/A di Apogee) di bassa qualità della DDJ-FLX10.
Nessuno ha mai pensato che gli utenti hanno esigenze differenti di utilizzo hardware? oppure dovete accontentare RANE e PIONEER??

Horrible Support team
One of the worst and non-existing client support teams i ever seen. I had a problem with a recently brought Numark DJ controller that i needed to temporarely substitute my main controller which was getting repared, who wouldn't connect to Serato Lite and kept giving me a error pop up in the app. Their troubleshooting page didn't help, so i sent them an E-mail. They responded after 3 days with a mere "check out troubleshoot page and tell us in any suggestion works, othewise send us your computer specs and we'll get back to you with a solution". I did that, it's been almost 5 days now and i haven't received any response since then. Meanwhile, them ignoring my problem made me lose a potential work opportunity i had as DJ in a local,. because they weren't there to help me.
Avoid them at all cost, they don't deserve anything other than shame.

The best mixing software. Never had any problem. Used Serato since 2013.

Despicable pricing plan. Really awful after using the software for years and just outright removing ownership of the software license.
Fustrated to the point of giving up
My license got canceled or not recognised and after 6 weeks of back n forth trying to resolve it, nothing happened. I used Serato in my DJ set and going back 10 years at lease I was unable to allocate my reciet and the email I used was no longer viable.
I did have an account and license, however when I changed djcontrollers the license became unrecognisable.
And therefore unusable.
Support staff were difficult to communicate and non productive, questions went around and around without transparent answers.
Eventually serato frustrated the matter to the point I gave up.
So disappointed.
I now use alternative dj software

I have to say i been try to find help but you can never talk with an agent or representative of serato. Everything is done on lone where it takes a while to here back fom someonf and when you di they ask you to ask the question with the problem you have in a different way and you just go bavk and fourth and nothing gets solved. The worst customer service ever. No phone support and you would think that if you run a business and you depend on equipment that runs with the serato software that if you ran into a problem you should be able to get phone support at the time you need it. This why i would advise anyone looking for dj software to run your turntable or other dj equipment to look somewhere els. If i could i would give neg 5 stars below dor customer service

Terrible. Can’t get any help. Software always bugging out. Had for over a year. I’ve never been as frustrated in my life than when I try to use serato.
Downloaded and installed Serato Sample…
Downloaded and installed Serato Sample in the first week of December (2023).
Worked well, with no issues, until mid-April. Out of nowhere, seemingly, it stopped working. Won't load previously used samples from prior projects. Won't allow me to load new samples into Serato Sample to make something new (not that it would matter, because it likely wouldn't load anyways.).
Contacted support... mid-April. Spent 5-6 weeks corresponding with support before they asked for an error log.
Was told that because my computer didn't perfectly meet the recommended specs that I should download 1.4 (that doesn't have Stems)... despite it working perfectly fine for 5 months.
It's now August... I've uninstalled and reinstalled Serato a bunch of times. Still doesn't work. I emailed support (again) on July 8th, 14th, and July 30th. No response. Second time in this process, they've gone multiple weeks without responding.
While I'm not a full time beat maker, I have a few friends whose full time job is music, who wanted to use 15-20 beats of mine on various projects. Don't feel optimistic they or the other 50 beats I made between Dec-April will be recoverable.
Terrible support experience. Was contemplating, earlier in the year, of getting a Rane One and using Serato. The odds of me doing that are none. A support ticket should not still be open, 4 months later... software is currently not useable. No escalation from support...no offer of a refund or credit. Just a black hole.

Was really happy with the results so at €149 I wanted to do the subscription for a month (€12.99) until I could justify the full license.
Signed up and immediatly had a Login error.
Error 1009 (which isnt on their list of Error codes)
So I began the usual troubleshoot for this kind of online verification.
Tried absolutly everything their website had to offer as far as Troubleshoting and more.
I raised a ticket 3weeks ago and Ive paid for nothing. Their Support model is to literally redirect me to the troubleshooting pages which I explained I had tried numerous times. They have me goinhg in circles, with a 48hr turnaround
I contacted them via other platforms (IG) and the same deal. Absolutly awful support. Ive been an Audio engineer for 20+ years and can honestly say Ive never come a company as bad at communication as this.
Avoid at all costs, they just want your money and do not care. Ive been gaslit by them for 3 weeks now and Im ready to give up.
They say its my internet, but Im communicating to them on that very same internet pulling good speedS.

the software is alright but entirely unusable:
tried out the serato studio recently, demo lapsed so I decided to subscribe in order to work on my tracks further.
only the software cannot be started anymore. my account is shown as having active subscription, but the software doesnt get it and still thinks the license isnt valid.
then I tried subscribing to serato sample. same issue.
they draw the funds but the license is not working.
the hope was support will get me up and running, since the issue seems to be widespread.
the replies are really slow, which can be excused by the different timezones (they also mention being inundated with support requests). however its been 4 days now since I sent them everything they needed.
0 reply. nothing.
the problem is definitely not an uncommon one.
not sure why they dont update the faq with the licensing solution.
I liked the software itself, although did find some bugs, was planning to use it.
not sure anymore - never had a unusable subscription software, just bizarre.

Terrible products and customer service even worse
I bought Serato sample. I was hyped about it. But this plugin asks for online verification every time i open a new project or re-opens a project. I spend now 5 minutes per day verifying Serato plugins... it's sooo crazy poor for a plugin in 2024. If all my plugins were like this i would spend 1 hour per day verifying stuff.
I thought this would have to be a bug, so i wrote customer service. They said "it asks for verification sometimes"?? which is quite unclear and also untrue. And now i'm in an 8 week deep customer service correspondance, where i once a week get referred back to some FAQ answer from someone who hasn't read our whole thread. My guess is that this will continue forever, once a week another useless reply, that dosen't even answer the questions in most recent mail to them. This plugin was not cheap, so this is sooo poor service. GET PROFESSIONAL SERATO

I wouldn't recommend anyone serato. By far the worst dj software out there. It cant properly read tracks and is constantly bugging out. I would recommend getting a decks compatible with Rekordbox for a much better experience mixing music.
