We ordered three light sabers as a Christmas present for our children. Upon unwrapping the gifts on Christmas Day, two of the three light sabers did not work. Permanent audible warning "No power, please recharge" regardless of how many hours of charging was provided. Over the next 4.5 months Sabneo had us disassemble the light sabers, make battery terminal adjustments, install new circuit boards and new batteries - none of which resolved the issue. Naturally, we requested a Return and Refund of the faulty items. WARNING. Sabneo DO NOT provide refunds for FAULTY items and prefer to shutdown communications instead. We have reported Sabneo to VISA to have the matter investigated.

Do yourself a favour, find a better provider, there are dozens more.
I had high hopes. Terrible product & company.
First, the product didn't ship on time as they said it would. After waiting a month, I asked to cancel my order. My email was ignored, and they said it was shipping shortly and they created a shipping label with no product. Then I emailed again and said cancel my order -- no response. Several weeks later the saber was delivered. For curiosity, I wanted to check it out. Didn't work at all. It just kept saying no batteries please charge, then shut off immediately. Several attempts to charge with different USB charges all failed.
Don't waste your money.

Happy with Product the V8 sabre works as advertised, it's a one button system that does different things depending on if the sabre is active or on standby. Also you need to watch for a flashing led (or do get used to timing and can do it without watching) and depending on how many flashes you access different functions.
Slightly complex and takes a bit of learning but it works and the alternative would be multiple switches or buttons that would detract from the look of the hilt.
The blade seems durable (I have not done and duelling) and my 5yo grandchild was swinging it from up over her head and down onto a carpeted floor as hard as she could and it took it well. I have given it a bit of a whack around and it does seem quite durable. That said the light tube is seperate from the hilt and easily replaced so any breakage could be fixed easily at the cost of a new light tube.
The hilt comprises or seperate pieces that screw together, Main body, Handle (unscrew from main body to access soundboard and access plug to recharge) and pommel are all threaded and by unscrewing the pommel you could then attach an adaptor that would allow two sabres to be joined.
The sound board and light effects on the V8 are impressive some light settings are a bit gimmicky, but almost any colour can be achieved.
Now the down side of the review
I purchased a V8 after seeing an add on Instagram.
I quickly received a confirmation email on the 7th April, then a follow up informing me the item had been shipped on the 8th April.
The shipping tracking link was to their website where I was informed that the tracking was temporally down.
In my opinion based on other online purchases any decent company would provide a tracking number from the shipping company used so the customer can track the order that way.
I reached out to customer support on the 11th April and was rather blunt, explained that I was suspicious and they should supply me with a tracking or consignment number so I can track it directly via the shipping company, and if I did not receive a adequate response in 24 hrs I would escalate the matter via PayPal and be requesting a full refund.
On the 12th April I received a response and had a shipping tracking number with AusPost (Australia Post) this is where it got a bit weird.
After checking the tracking with AusPost they had the item booked for pickup and the date that the pickup booking was made was 4 days after the date SabNeo emailed me and said it had been shipped.
That was a big Red Flag for me, at best they just lied and said it was shipped when it wasn't so they would look good.
My feeling at this point is its disingenuous at the least at the worst this could be a scam and they where stalling me.
I contacted Australia Post by phone and talked to customer support to enquire exactly what the status of my delivery meant and confirmed it meant the shipper had made a booking for pickup but the item was not ready for pickup. I also asked if they could provide any information about this issue specifically in relation to the company but of course but to privacy and other things they couldn't tell me much.
At this stage I'm starting to think I could have been scammed.
On the 16 April I reached out again to customer support.
Explained the package has still not been shipped and pointed out the aforementioned discrepancies and said.....
This is a big red flag and I'm about to contact PayPal and demand a full refund if I do not receive an adequate explanation.
I did not get a reply until the 20th of April.
Whilst this process was going on I was closely monitoring the tracking via AusPost and did see that the goods had in fact been collected and where actually in transit. From memory I do not know the date it was actually collected and in transit but it must have been within a day or two of the last email I sent on the 16th.
In summary, are they legit yes they are and Im happy with the product, its construction, its features are all as advertised.
When you unscrew the handle to access the charging socket you expose the circuit board, this in my opinion is not ideal as circuit boards can get damaged and don't like dust and electro static. Having the handle unscrewed does leave the board exposed and when charging you do need to leave the handle off.
It does however mean that replacing the battery and or circuit board (not sure if soldering would be required or if it would just unplug) would be fairly easy, this applies to the product as a whole it is made in such a way that parts could be replaced.
The charge cable has a small tag that says Only 5v 1A charging adapter No PC ports, do not use while charging. This is easy to miss, I could have easily plugged into a PC port or any adaptor that delivers more than the 5v 1A and cooked my battery or other components.
Packaging was ok they only wrap the box in plastic but there is foam that contains the parts in the box

If I could put 0 I would. I have never had a worse experience with a company. I have been battling with them since Jan 2024 to get resolution for two faulty sabres that were xmas gifts for my Nephews in 2023. After they sent incorrect parts to "fix" the problem in June 2024, I contacted them again and again with no response. It was not until I emailed aggressively in November 2024 that they did they respond to me. They claimed they would send two brand new sabres not just parts (after generic auto responses and back and forth asking again what the problem was, they had this information since Jan 2024!). Guess what I received a month later? More parts! The same ones as before! I have sent them pictures, I have tried emailing and contacting through instagram. These guys could not be worse. I have even gone to consumer affairs and they also were unable to get a response from this piss-poor excuse of a company. Do not spend your money here, get a better quality sabre elsewhere, where you will be treated like a human being and show at least some decency.
The date I have put is the day of my last straw. When CAV was contacted.

They were meant to be for my sons birthday on the 18 April, they were purchased beginning of April. 6 weeks with no Sabres, no refund and no help.
Only use this company if you want to be robbed. Bellends !
Disappointed with Customer Service – No Response After Faulty Product
I’ve been a customer of Sabneo since September 2024, when I purchased a V8 PIXEL 2.0 VAD X lightsaber for myself. That saber has been excellent—I still have it and it works perfectly, which is why I felt confident buying a second one (the V7 RGB 2.0 King Gold) as a Christmas gift for my son.
Unfortunately, the second saber stopped working after just a couple of months. It no longer charges or powers on, despite using the correct charging setup. I reached out to Sabneo support in March 2025, submitted all requested details and a video demonstrating the issue, and followed up multiple times.
To date, I have received no response and no resolution—not even a basic acknowledgement. I've asked for a repair, replacement, or refund, as the product is still under warranty, but have been met with silence.
This has been really disappointing—especially as this was a special gift for my son, and my own experience with Sabneo had previously been so positive. I still hope the company will step up and resolve this properly, but based on my current experience, I cannot recommend them due to the complete lack of after-sales support.

I have waited ro leave this review. Two sabers sent neither one works. I was told they would send parts to repair myself as well. I should not have to fix anything I spent this much money on. Multiple times I asked for my refund denied for 1.5 months. Then I was told to ship it to France my cost and then I would get a refund. Warranty worthless product never functioned and the company is not honest. Buyer be wear. Not a good product or respectable company. I was just ripped off.

I bought a lightsaber for my son at Amazon. After a couple of months, the saber did not start anymore. We believed the battery was out but the battery also smelled burnt so I sent all this information to Sabneo. They wrote back and took all very serious. I took pictures and send to them and they promised me to send a new inner technology peace totally free. When arrived the measures were for a newer model and did not fit. I offered to send it back but they said that they will send a new piece and I could keep the new one. All for free. After two weeks, I got the new inner piece and now all works. Never imagined such a service. Fantastic! Thanks a lot!
Terrible customer service
Placed an order, which I managed to receive, albeit late, but I think this was more down to the courier company who are renowned for their shoddy service. The sabre's while look well made, are very fiddley to use having only one button. The Star Wars sabre's aren't true replicas, which is what I wanted. Don't buy the Vader one! Due to the design and where the sabre slides in, the sabre ends up 2-3 inches shorter than others so looks really weird, it also doesn't recreate the crimson red of Vader's sabre.
The worst part is the customer service, who so far refused to give me details on where to return the sabres to. Instead they offered me a 15% refund to keep them. They aren't what I was expecting, so want to return them!
*UPDATE*
This company has to be the VERY WORST. After giving me a return address IN FRANCE, the item was returned to me with the courier informing me that the address refused to accept the items! After many emails back & forth through PayPal, they have given me another returns address, this time IN DUBAI!!!
Never buy from these bunch of shisters!

I’ve been collecting sabers for years, and Sabneo has truly impressed me. The smooth swing feature is incredibly realistic, and the Golden Lifetime Warranty is a huge plus. If you’re considering a saber, get one from Sabneo.
V8 Pixel 2.0 amazing for the price
Recieved my V8 Pixel 2.0 and I am very impressed. Only points knocking it down a star.... flash on clash would have been nicer as a whole blade flash. Instead it reuses the blaster deflection lighting which looks off when your blades dont clash at the lit point. Second point is the edges can be a little sharp and want filing down or you might want gloves. For the money though its a great saber.

I received my V8 Pixel saber the box was all banged up. When opening my saber it had a smell of something burnt. I turned on the saber the sounds where really choppy and broken like a skipping CD. I put the blade on and it only lit up dim. Only the color red would show but not straight up the blade. It started to smell like fried electronics. Now it the lights won't turn on but the sound is incredible. When opening it up to charge it you can see burn marks. I have contacted them left videos like they requested. They told me my images wouldn't play amd had to send them through their Facebook page Sabwars. I did this and it can clearly be seen that it doesn't work. Have not hear a word since. The videos on Sabwars are unviewed and they won't respond to my emails anymore. This is ridiculous I have bought 4 sabers previously from them with out a problem even with an issue I had once previously. Now I waited about a month for this item and now I'm being ghosted by Sabneo! I wasn't rude. All I want is a working saber for my son. I have reached out to sabneo through Facebook and their website since they stopped responding and have not received any response. Right now I feel that you should find a saber somewhere else because their customer service is horrible in Canada.

Hilt is metal and heavy.
Blade is sturdy and very bright with no dead spots, shadows or visible LEDs.
Sounds is loud (or quiet or muted) - I would like to have something in between but can't complain. Motion sensors are working great.
Controls are something to get used to but so much fun to explore options.
Charging could be tricky - turned out mine works only on the included cable for some reason but as long as it works I don't mind.
Honestly couldn't be happier and recommend it enough.

I've got 2 already original nova and have alpha on the way very well made did have a small chip on pummel that they are sending out a new one so far the nova is my favourite as seems to have more sounds and lights not sure why
